Where should I start from? These guys are absolutely fantastic!! Extremly knowledgeable and responsive as well. My Tesla home charger installation was a bit complicated as the main breaker is not against my garage wall. These professionals installed a 60 amp 240 volt circuit from the outside breaker box to the front left of my garage. Since this is a brand new home, my wife and I were worried that the installation would create holes and patches both outside the home as well as inside where they would be running wires. We had mentally prepared ourselves since it was unavoidable. They also added a Conduit which would protect wiring from outside breaker box to lower attic, cable runs across my secondary/lower attic but you can't tell because they wired internally through the drywall without damaging the walls or making any holes. There is nothing exposed conduit or wiring towards the front of my house nor in the garage. Totally worth the money paid and would hire them next time without any hesitations! Victor did a great job on a callback. I realized Victor did the best he could with what he had to work with. Victor completed my original installation in one day. My installation involved installing four outdoor security video cameras, two outdoor floodlights, and two outdoor lamps. I wanted a professional installation where there would be no outside wires and the two outdoor lamps and two outdoor flood lights would be controlled by indoor light switches. The two outdoor lamps would be installed directly to brick walls. One on each side of my garage door. I provided the four outdoor security video cameras, the two floodlights and the two lamps. I was provided an estimate of 6 to 8 hours over the phone and the electrician would be assigned to my job for the entire day. The installation actually took 12 hours which ran late into the night past sunset. Victor ran into problems running power to a camera and to a light switch inside my home that took allot of extra time to resolve. I have vaulted ceilings at my front door, front guest bedroom and master bedroom. Victor was not able to run power to where I requested two outdoor security video cameras installed due to this and 2 x 4 boards in my ceilings that blocked passing power cables from the attic to the security video cameras. Victor suggested good alternatives on the location of the four outdoor security video cameras where he could run power and I could view the same areas outside my home. Victor also helped me while I was installing my video doorbell and installed two flag holders. I did not have a hammer drill and drilling through brick with just a regular drill took me 30 minutes per hole. A hammer drill does it in just seconds. Victor showed me in my attic how he ran the power and where the security camera AC adapters were located and how I can get to them if needed. I am the type of customer that is willing to get involved and help where I can. Holding a flashlight and looking for the power wire passing down through a hole while Victor is feeding the power line from my attic. Victor is very personable, patient, and is not annoyed when things do not go as planned. Victor suggests good alternatives to get around setbacks. This Is for JIM w/ Grayzer Electric: Had Grayzer Electric install 4 new Recessed Ceiling Fixtures and replace one flush mount fixture ( for a matching Recessed Can Light) in our Upstairs Living Room. If you plan ahead with the work you want done it goes so smoothly. They can only carry so many materials with them so if you change your mind when they show up they may not always have what you need, I did not have an issue with this but have with other companies in the past. Our Electrician was JIM and he was great! Showed up near the beginning of appointment window (2hr window) and called 15 minutes before arrival which is great when you have pets. JIM was friendly friendly from the start. We walked through the area and what I was thinking for placement. I AM SO GLAD that I listened to JIM's recommendations on PLACEMENT! TRUST them! I did not even think that if they were placed too close to a ceiling fan it creates an obnoxious "strobe effect". That would have sucked! (He also recommended some LED options for Future upgrading) JIM was very Tidy, extremely Accommodating and very Knowledgeable (25 yrs experience). I find any home trade work interesting and he didn't mind talking me through certain things, discussing alternative options. To top it off JIM was really easy to chat with. When I bought my 1958 house the number one issue that came up on the inspection was the electrical. The outlets were 2 prong, nothing was grounded, and the electrical panel was called a fire hazard by my inspector. Okay so this makes me feel like I'm cheating on the other electrician I just recommended, but I must share. We wanted to replace our smoke detectors with new ones. Unfortunately when you do that, you have to replace all of them as they all communicate with each other. I selected Grayzer Electric to install a L2 EV home charger. TL,DR- they are professional and I would use them again without hesitation. For those that want more, here you go... I did quite a bit of research to educate myself on some basic terminology and what to look for in an EV home charger. I did even more reading on others experiences with electricians doing this type of work. I narrowed my list, and then reached out to Grayzer with questions. I found their business model really easy to navigate - no pressure, provided me with lots of information, and encouraged me to ask questions. All this was done virtually which I was comfortable doing. Once I made the decision to go with their service, I completed their online form and took a few photos as they requested. They reviewed what I submitted, and needed me to take one additional photo so they could accurately give me an estimate. This part of the process was really easy. Next up was scheduling. They told me they schedule based on clustering of addresses to keep their transit times down. That didn't bother me, and happy to help in that small way. They reached out to me within a week of when I accepted their contract and got me scheduled. Max and Zack arrived promptly today for the install which consisted of running a 50amp circuit from my breaker box outside through the attic and down into my garage where the EV home charger was installed (I purchased the chargepoint home flex off amazon). I also had them install a whole home surge protector on the outside breaker box - so I don't have to buy surge protector power strips anymore. Max/Zack were here about 1.5 hours (maybe a little less) and fully completed the install. Super polite, very knowledgeable, and did an excellent job installing and cleaning up everything. Grayzer installed a 220V outlet in our garage to charge a Tesla. I first read about Grayzer after I posted an inquiry on Nextdoor. Grayzer was recommended the most and had installed the most Tesla charging station. I got three bids before deciding on who we'd use. The two other companies didn't seem to know what they would do to run the line from the main electric panel to the garage. They both said they couldn't go through the house attic to the garage attic. When Grayzer came to bid, the tech was positive that the line could go through the attics .... and he was right! I thought the job would take all day, but they were done in four hours. Overall experience: We recently purchased a Tesla and needed to install a wall charger in our garage. Grayzer responded to my phone call immediately and then directed me to a comprehensive web page that allowed me to show them exactly what I needed. When it became apparent that they needed someone to do an on-site appraisal, they sent an extremely knowledgeable individual (Jeff) who was quick and thorough. On the day of the install, the two individuals who arrived (Brock and Dan) were prompt and efficient. Scheduling: Grayzer is pretty busy, so just know that you may have to wait for them to do work depending upon the scope of the project at hand. While that is a bit of a downer, if you can respond within an hour, they will put you on a "short notice" waiting list in order to quickly reschedule your appointment in lieu of the person who cancelled. They employ an e-mail response and appointment scheduler that can add itself to your personal calendar while also providing you with a text message prior to their arrival to let you know that they are on the way. Quality of work: Grayzer not only installed my charger, but made some recommendations for future additions such as a whole house circuit breaker in the future if I thought I needed one. The install was quicker than I thought it would be and looks like part of the house aside from the color of the piping which would be easily fixed with a quick can of paint.
