    Caramel cheesecake jar
    Dee L.

Stopped here to visit some family on our way out of town... this place is really nice! Quaint space that is quite popular it seems- it was bustling. I had an almond milk iced mocha and the caramel cheesecake jar- OMG YUM! It looks like a small portion but man is it just the right amount - decadently satisfying. Chocolate graham base, creamy and light cheesecake middle and smooth and sticky caramel sauce to top it off. HIGHLY recommend. Also, I saw many what looked to be kale salads coming out to customers, it looked delicious. I would also go back to try one of their cheese and charcuterie boards they advertise on their menu board.

Sorry folks, I was so hungry that I couldn't wait to eat!!

Oh Gravity, how you continue to surprise me! Breakfast in a biscuit - whaaaat?!?!? Peppers, cheese, meat baked into a calzone-looking...omelette? Biscuit? What is it? It's delicious, that's what. Be sure to ask for some homemade salsa on the side. Adds a delightful little kick. Welcome back to Joel, who was with Gravity for the first two years they were in business. He's happy to be back, and always happy to see you. The good folks who work here are very helpful and caring. That is another thing that makes this place special and worth coming back to. Let's not forget that they have almond milk for lattes (my favorite!) and adding an extra shot of their fabulous espresso makes it so rich and satisfying. Inglewood had so many gems, but Gravity is, by far, one of those espresso (and let's not forget the wine) places that is worth going the distance for. Thanks for being awesome!

Gravity does an outstanding job of bringing the creative and heritage community persona of Inglewood into one of the newest spaces in the area. Well, that and they do an outstanding job of everything else they do too. Coffee, food, coffee, wine, coffee, beer, coffee - it's all gold. Think about that mix for a second. You can get local Phil & Sebastian espresso, homestyle chilli, paninis and other coffee shop favs as well as craft beer and wine in one sitting. If you're the mobile work and social type, you've just found your productivity utopia. Above the fashionable and comfortable natural woods, concrete floor, bare light bulbs and local art hung on deep blue walls, it's really the staff that give Gravity its one of a kind character. Everyone is so authentically friendly without even a hint of coffee/wine/beer/food snobbery. Hey, when you serve fine goods, there can be a certain smug attitude that can tend to follow, but it's only polite, friendly enthusiasm you'll find it at Gravity. The owner, Andy, can often be found running the till, running between the kitchen and bar or just generally milling about about, chatting with the customers and remembering names. You'll find his name mentioned in several reviews because he's good to his customers and an all around great guy. Ok, Example!: Right now, he's sitting out on the front patio playing with an adorable baby... Come on!!! If you're looking for a casual hangout over a coffee, wine or a classy pint, give Gravity a try. They'll pull you in... at 9.81m/s². Yesssss.

    Iced Latte!
    Maninderjeet G.

Went from Chestermere to Inglewood, just to visit this place. Two words - worth it! I had an iced latte and my friend had a cappuccino. The drinks were great, in taste and in presentation. Customer service was great and the staff was cheerful. When I ordered the drink, I was provided with a letter mounted on a small steel post thingy to put on my table so that my drink can be brought to the right table. Classic, clever touch. The ambiance of this place is great. Wooden furniture, gives you a raw and wild comfort zone. A book shelf, full with books and magazines - who doesnt like to read while drinking? Sizable menu. Beer, coffee, food, wine - You wanna have it all. They had a jazz band performing live. Not sure if its a routine, but it certainly made my day. I will visit this place again.

As if Inglewood hadn't already stolen my heart, it goes ahead and fuels my love of the community with this neat, hip, clean and caffeinated spot. From the exposed industrial ceiling, the old wooden countertops and tables, the contemporary art on the wall, to the hunks of cheese, cake and cheesecake; it's everything you'd want in a little indie-hipster cafe. While I waited for my (Phil and Sebastian) americano I was chatting with the folks and they were all super nice, happy, and jazzed. They mentioned that they will have wine and cheese nights here too.

    Traditional cappuccino

The guy who made my cappuccino had an english accent but somehow he knew that I was from out of town? I told him that I was and that whenever I am in town I always make it a point to visit Phil & Sebastian so I was excited to try Gravity. He said he hoped that my experience would meet those expectations and it sure did! Now let's review some technical details: - Locally roasted coffee beans: Check. Phil & Sebastian Roasters - Baristas with proper training on pulling espresso Check. - Microfoam quality and Latte Art: Check. The Cap was very well executed. The latte art (see uploaded photo) came out well as a result of well steamed micro-foam. The espresso extraction was decent (tasted a tad bit over extracted). Overall the cap came together very well and I would definitely go back if I ever found myself south east of the Calgary tower. Hooray for great coffee in Calgary!

Review #20 of Yelp's 30 Day Challenge 2012 We're well more than a few months in to Gravity being the new kid in Inglewood. I've watched it come along from only really being cool because it was new and open late and serving wine to solidly rocking attempts to try new things in the space (like curry Fridays!) Gravity continues to be a great spot to meet friends... whether on or many. It's got a few different sizes of tables for you to choose from (though if you're in need of a plugin, stick to the area to the left of the door as you walk in). I had stopped going nearly as often this fall because of some spotty internet. And when your main reason for hanging out in coffee shops is to drink good coffee and get some work done because your job kind of depends on a reliable connection, well, that's kind of a big deal. I had been back for fondue and wine and the likes, but not to work. One of my coffee shop working friends commented about having been to Gravity recently and had no troubles with the connection, so, today, I gave it another go. Guess what? No troubles. And I think it's faster! Whatever happened to make the internet better, plus the Japanese beer I had and the little cheesecake in a jar overflowing with delicious berry topping, not to mention staff that bring it out to me instead of making me wait by the counter until it's ready officially bump Gravity up to a five star experience for this Yelper. Yay! The chairs are still noisy when you move 'em, but whatevs!

Gravity front store. Love their tie in to local community

Nothing comes close to Gravity's ambiance, quality and service. I love their Phil & Seb coffee and their food is always delicious. They also have an amazing selection of scotches, beers, and wine. Free wifi and a steady rotation of art from local galleries means you can stay here for hours enjoying the ambiance or just people watching.

    saturday afternoon at gravity.

Had a lazy saturday and decided to check out gravity. Great little place in Inglewood. Parking wasn't the easiest to find but I didn't mind walking a bit since it was a nice day. The atmosphere wass great and has a cool modern rustic look. I had the iced chai. It was a bit pricey for what it was but nonetheless it was a good experience. Would like to check out how the evening is one day.

We were greeted by a group of bartenders (who all happened to be wearing toques) when we walked in, and I felt both welcomed and slightly out of place (no toque). The cocktails were meticulously crafted--priced at $15-20 a drink, it's on par with bigger cities like Vancouver and Toronto, but they also live up to the standard. Honestly, the highlight of our visit to Missy's was the Missy's This That charcuterie board. Each piece of cured meat was sliced impossibly thin, the olives were meaty and delicious, and the cheeses were carefully selected to complement everything. I loved that it also came with a side of thick cut bread and pickled vegetables. One of the best charcuterie boards I've had at a restaurant for sure. Not cheap but worth the pretty penny on a slightly fancy night out.
