I wish I could come to this more often, but I kinda live too far away to continue attending (and didn't love Denver enough as a whole to be visiting much). I wanted to dock a star because I did not enjoy navigating here or parking (there are only 3-6 legitimate spaces for multiple classes, of which ours was 7; the rest are all labeled as tow away and you just risk it with the assumption it's fine? I popped in for an intermediate hoop/lyra class while traveling and am glad I did! I was able to book the class on Classpass (thanks for that accessible booking option!). It was easy to sign up. The location was a little harder to find as it's in the back of a warehousy looking strip of buildings. The parking is also confusing as they have just a few designated spots (that were already taken when I arrived) and the rest were labeled for other businesses. They did have directions on the door for where to park but I was still a mite worried about parking my rental in the lot. The door was open and I was able to start stretching while the previous class finished up. The class was awesome! Challenging and fun. The other students and teacher were friendly and welcoming. So my friend Zach has recommended Gravity Aerial Arts for about a year now! He has been going for a while, and very much enjoyed it. I gave it a go, on a cold wintery night in December with my friend Heather! I called Meghan over the phone to get my reservation set up, and we got a sweet instructor named Monique!! Monique teaches on Friday nights which has gotten me stoked for the weekend. The first drop in class was $12.00 with a promo code and they have packages for every month. An unlimited monthly membership was a little over $200.00, but it's a beautiful way to get in shape. I was always afraid of heights and Monique helped me ease into it!! I came here with a friend to try the aerial basics class through classpass. I was really amazed at the amount of moves we were able to learn in only one class! I used some muscles that I haven't in a long time and my arms were sore for the next couple of days. The teacher was extremely helpful especially with some of the more difficult moves. I did have a hard time finding this location though. It isn't visible from the street so it's extremely easy to pass. It's in the same building as a MetroPCS and is in the back right corner of the building when you are facing the building. I had used classpass but I did hear our teacher tell another person in our class that your first class is free so a little extra incentive to try! read more

It's ok. My daughter had been going here for a year and a half and I think she learned the most during her first 6 months. The rest of her time they packed the kids in the class to the point they had to share apparatuses so she only got half the class time to practice. After continuous minimal growth I've finally decided to move on to another aerial location. read more

I was in Denver for work and wanted to train the week that I was there. I signed up for an Intermediate Lyra class on Thurs 4/4. It was a little awkward not being greeted by anyone when I walked in the door. The community that many have mentioned did not make me feel welcomed. Everyone seemed to know each other and didn't ask the new person her name - kind of weird. The class was a little crowded and not conducive to much instructor feedback or interaction. Other students were practicing their routines for a show which was distracting and encroached in our class space. There was a lot of downtime and standing arobut I did learn a new combo I really liked. The space was beautiful even if hard to find. I'd be willing to give it another try if I'm ever in town again, but hopefully the dynamic is a little different. UPDATE: Changing review to 4 stars because the owner followed-up. My friends found this place because we were looking to do something fun and active for my bachelorette party, like an aerial yoga class. This was more than I could've hoped for. The ladies that worked with us were patient, uplifting, non-judgmental instructors. 6 of us went through a warm-up/stretch and then the girls taught us some basic moves with the silks. We took so many pictures and it was the perfect ice breaker to start the weekend - everyone bonded and encouraged each other!! With the rise of the pandemic, and being stationary I decided to take advantage of the wonderful remote HIIT class that Gravity started offering. The instructor, Ashley T, brings such a fun and energetic atmosphere to the class. I always get nervous and self conscious when starting new workout classes, but with this class, I felt welcome from the get go. She also encourages you to make modifications if an exercise is too much or to little for you, and you don't feel shamed for having to do it. Awesome studio with great people! My family and I booked a beginner silks class while we were in town for a family reunion. The majority of our flights ended up delayed and we weren't going to be able to make it, so they graciously rescheduled our class at a new time the next morning. I cannot express how much we appreciated it since we were really looking forward to a class together. I've been in situations where, because we didn't know within 24 hours, I've been refused a refund. Our instructor was really great and helped the group get along with the basics, while I worked on some advanced alternatives (and showed off) in the background. I love Gravity Aerial! What started as a bucket list item quickly turned into an obsession. The instructors are all great (and are incredible artists!) and classes are so much fun. I've been going for about 6 months now and am getting so much stronger with each class! It's my one hour where everything else goes away and I get to have fun and play and learn new skills. Everyone is super supportive and helps out, classes are not intimidating and all around a great place to be. Tip: Sign up online before class, it helps them know how many people will be in the class in case they need to add an extra instructor to make sure everyone gets what they need. It doesn't matter if you have 0 experience or years, the team here helps you through everything!
