Literally....the best shape of my life
Veronica V.

I could write a whole paragraph about how Circus Collective has gotten me in the best shape of my life(including 8 years of Pilates training), but that's only a small part about why this place is so amazing. This place is more than a gym, is a gathering, a collective of amazing unique beautiful people. I started going to Circus in January and have been hooked since my first class. I have tried every class from acro yoga, to aerial silks and contortion flexibility. This is the most fun I've ever had working out, and am literally the strongest I've ever been in my life. The teachers are all amazing and will work with whatever skill level you have! Now on to why this place is truly incredible. The people. The owners, Ariana and Peter, are some of the nicest, most down to earth people ever. They have a vision of fostering a community with movement, art, and charity, and do it beautifully at The Circus Collective. Every Sunday there's yoga and a dance party(so much fun ) and have tons of donated groceries available to take home for a small donation. They are always doing something to participate in the community and are truly inspiring! I have met some of the most beautiful caring and kind people at Circus. From the teachers/owners to the classmates and dance partners...I've made some amazing connections. This place is a safe space to be yourself and explore your creativity, which is so hard to find as an adult sometimes! I am honestly a better person inside and out since coming to Circus Collective, and im so thankful for that P.S. They have an amazing art gallery and hang out spot so you can chill and check out art every time you take a class

These 2 ladies were incredible on the Lyra Lollipop!

The staff member who helped me was very friendly and gave me a quick tour before I joined. In the initial walkthrough it appeared to have everything I needed to get in my daily workout. I don't find it overly crowded at the times I go, but I would say that some of the equipment felt a little cheaper than other gyms I have been to. Yes, it does the job.

This is one of the few spots we found that isn't class based - though they do offer HIIT and Yoga throughout the week. The gym itself has pretty much all the equipment you would need, the biggest detractor is that it's a quite small space. There's not a ton of open workout space, especially if a class is in session. But they have squished a lot of equipment into the space. So when they're busy it can feel like you're on top of one another. Pretty much only have one set of heavier free weights, so you might end up waiting. Everything is well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and the ownership seems to be making updates and keeping the place maintained. Locker rooms are clean. They have garage windows so on hotter days those get rolled up which is nice. There's a small parking lot in the back and some street parking.

I'm an avid try-different-workout-spots-while-traveling person, so on my latest trip to Denver,…read moreAlchemy 365 was on the bucket list! My sis-in-law had been once before, so she suggested we give it a go together. Totally different than any other fitness class I've taken before! It really mixed and matched yoga, strength training, and conditioning, which was cool. The coach, Courtney, was a great burst of energy and really got the class in the mood for a quick sweat. It began with gathering around the front of the studio, where she walked us through the circuit we would soon be doing ourselves. Then we warmed up our muscles with yoga flow movements, and slowly started incorporating the jump boxes and weights to prepare for the 10-minute HIIT spurt ahead. Those 10 minutes definitely got our heart rates spiking with a 3-6-9 circuit set. It was a full body session for sure. The class then cooled down by returning back to yoga flow and ended on a meditative note to reground us. All in all, it was enjoyed by me! However! I will say, I had no idea it was going to be that short (lol). Once we finished the 10-minute intensity portion, I genuinely thought we we're going to break and go through it again two more times. I personally do functional HIIT training on a regular basis (as it's my fave), so my mind and body were prepared to push a lot longer for sure. That being said, I totally understood it afterward when talking to the friendly ladies that worked there. Alchemy offer a variety of class types and class lengths, so this one (being the "A10") was a shorter option. Gotttt it! Most definitely a great, quick sweat to fit in a busy schedule or if you don't want to go as hard as long. I'd love to return again during my next trip to Denver! Oh and better yet, open an Alchemy 365 in Milwaukee, please.

The class is lead by a knowledgeable & positive instructor. Great upbeat music.. They suggested I find a time when I'm not on call to take class. Haha- yeah I'll take my money elsewhere! Working or busy moms stay away! The entitlement on these people are crazy- how dare I not give them my full undivided attention!!! It shouldn't be on them to control what their paying clients do during their workout, unless it's a safety hazard. If glancing down at your phone or sending a quick message is distracting - people need to grow up! What ruins the vibe is instructors having big egos and being controlling of their clients! I came here earlier this year with Denver Fit Friends and returned recently on my own. It was a bit dark in the studio when the lights are turned down and it was hard to see the teacher demo-ing. Someone at the front desk told me they're launching a beginners' class next year. Pleasantly surprised that I was more sore than expected!

I've found that the combination of supportive and encouraging trainers and sweaty people working hard next to you has always led me to do the latter. The 7am class was FULL. Damn, you Denver peeps like to stay fit! My rotation consisted of first treadmill, second rowing machines, and lastly floor work/weights. I did feel like this class was a bit easier than other OTF classes I've been to in the past, but I tried to push myself a little extra. Reed was walking around encouraging everybody and correcting forms, which I think is super important as a fitness instructor. Overall, the facilities are clean, the music was great, and the atmosphere was high energy. Would definitely come back to take another class when I'm in town next!

First off, Fitwall classes are designed to give you a full body workout in 40 minutes. I have found that I sign up by my instructors as they are typically the same for each class by the day. The classes cycle through a 3 week process that gets gradually tougher each week. Mondays - Friday classes en corporate strength, cardio and flexibility. Mondays are the most strength and weight focused, and each day gradually includes more cardio until you get to the Friday class which is 90% cardio and the perfect burner you need before the weekend. While you get to know and learn all the instructors different routines, Drew and Alyssa have been my go to from day 1. Drew and Hannah always have incredible insight into the kinesiology behind your moves and while all the coaches love to push the class to achieve the most from your workouts, these two specifically always provide perfect recommendations for anyone with pain points and their modifications make sure that you are staying inline with the rest of the classes exercises. Huge shout out to Alyssa and Amanda who are remarkable as well, they exemplify the all around continuous motivation. Exactly what you will need by the 30 minute mark of each class! I love how clean and well kept the gym is, as well as the dependable communication of this team. I started going to Fitwall during Covid, and last winter had a number of scares. This location is two story and has 3 studios, with full lockers and shower room. Love the feel of the openness of this location and friendliness of the staff. Two classes were in session and it sounded very hyped up. Probably Yoga Sculpt class. We were in studio 3 for yoga 1. It's a great refresher course if you haven't done yoga before or if you have done in a while. It was nice to learn the names of the poses again and be able to flow with the instructor's voice. I came a little early, so I was wandering around to check out the space. First floor was reception, retail, and small seating area while the second floor were all the studios and amenities. We started on time, there were only two of us, so we dive right in. It's something so easy, yet so hard at the same time. Definitely felt stretched out and using muscles I haven't used in a long time. I went for Yoga Sculpt the next time and man, that sure kicked my butt! It wasn't even just yoga sculpt, it was yoga sculpt Tabata!!! This class was totally full! Hyped up music and everyone was ready pump it. I wasn't, I had no idea what I got myself into lol! It was such fast pace and hot, that I had to take a breather. Don't get me wrong, it felt great but my little heart couldn't keep up for a bit. Kendall had great humor and kept the class going, or at least she kept me going even though I felt like I was dying. Yoga Sculpt was definitely different for me. I'm used to the quietness of yoga and hearing our breathing. It's nice to have variety though.
