Not many business owners are willing to reflect their values where it really impacts their business--through their revenue/pocketbook. This studio is aesthetically beautiful. I love the exposed brick and the plants. While not a hot yoga studio, it's a studio that will make you feel relaxed. Rob has been a friend of mine for a number of years, so I've always known the enthusiasm and…read morecommitment he brings to his clients just by virtue of observation--the level of availability and support he provides through his work on a professional level is obvious. I would add, that often leads to an openness and trust on a personal level that allows him to truly help people arrive at a better state of wellness beyond just physical health. It was not until recently, after suffering a spate of miscellaneous sports misfortunes, that I had the opportunity to experience what Rob does first hand. It honestly blew my mind. His ability to diagnose an apparent problem is skillful, and candidly I would have never appreciated the interconnected-nature of my weaknesses on my own. (E.g., this back pain you're experiencing is actually about your glutes). From there, he helps to rectify the current issue, in a way that to my lay mind is a little akin to witchcraft. (I explained to a friend, that when Rob was 'adjusting' my pulled calf muscle it sort of felt like he was doing nothing, and then magically everything was better after). Finally, Rob gives useful, practical guidance on areas to work on that help to improve the overall function and avoid the issue going forward. His approach is full service, which honestly makes him unlike any trainer or therapist with which you might otherwise work. It's why it's so hard to explain what it is exactly that he does, unless you've truly had the fortune to experience it yourself. If you're working through an injury, or just trying to get to a better place of overall function, I cannot recommend Rob more highly!

Rob helped me realize that the soreness and tightness I was feeling (especially after having three kids) wasn't something I just had to live with. His approach is super personal, and even over virtual sessions, he has this ability to notice little movement patterns and imbalances I didn't know existed. The exercises he gives are simple but so effective. And as a mom, I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating he is. He's totally understanding when my schedule gets crazy, and even included my baby in a few sessions during nap strikes. Plus, his voice is so calming--I always end our sessions feeling relaxed and reset. Can't recommend him enough!

Thankful to the receptionist because I was running late (Uber) since it's bad class etiquette to be late, but I had to do paperwork when I arrived even though I had already filled it out online. This made me more late. Real, the instructor, was great & she has legs for days lol. She invited me to take class the next day, but I had concert plans. I learned a piece that's been retaught, but didn't mind it since it was my 1st "chairography" class, but I've taken sexy/heels classes before. I was heels-less because I didn't pack any, but shoes weren't required. I enjoyed the warm-up, choreography, tricks, & extra time at the end. "Tease me please".

Plus you don't have to struggle to park before class which is a major perk.

When Sankalpa first opened up, I wasn't sure how I felt about the combination of yoga and pole in…read moreone space (didn't realize that was a thing) but when I finally made it out to a class, everything made sense. The space feels so serene between the "jungle wall" of the pole room, well-equipped locker room, and plants everywhere. The only class I've taken (a few times) is Pole 4 with Estee. I've had her as an instructor at a few other pole studios, so it was nice to have some level of familiarity with her teaching style. The weird details I like about Sankalpa are the microphone headset worn by the instructor and the water refill station next to the front desk. I've made a few friends at the studio who come here more often than I do. It's a little far of a drive for me (plus traffic) because of where I live, but if you can, definitely check out their variety of yoga, dance, and pole classes. Generally explore all the spots around Denver to experience different teaching styles and communities. Hooray for fitness!
