Clearly I found it but in dancer terms this place was a a little bit of an arrastre (drag). Call ahead just to confirm any change in schedule. I'm not familiar with class sizes at this particular joint but there was definitely space to go around. I appreciated how extremely clean and organized the dance studio was yet lacked the unique punk, hipster, bad ass feel. Instructors were lovely but not as groovy as those at Broadway Dance as I never really got into the plie mood. All in all, I suggest this dance studio to those that are craving an expensive class to fix your craving. And by expensive I mean you'll pay crazy amounts of money for over an hour class.

She's in her second year of dancing in the ballet company. It's a lot of work! Happily, the dancers aren't measured against an impossible standard or even one another. Instead, each dancer is encouraged to work towards their personal best. The wonderful people at Park Hill Dance are helping my daughter build the (metaphorical) muscle memory she needs to take on challenges outside of the studio too. This time we were seeing Ride the Cyclone. I had gotten tickets because a few friends were going and it was a favorite musical of my daughter's. She thoroughly enjoyed the production. The laughs per minute factor was off the charts. The concession stand had a decent selection of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. More recently, I went here to see a one woman show of Who's Holiday. Despite the fact that this was shown in the Cabaret space, which is basically a fancy way of saying the lobby, it really worked. The young woman performing this is such a talented actress. This was an enchanting and hilarious couple of hours. I remembered the actress from her performance in Spamalot. Jenny Mather is a treasure.
