We have two small children, still in diapers, and the family changing room is either filled with single people showering or beyond filthy. We pulled the changing table down one day to discover mouse droppings on it. When I informed the front desk, i was told there's nothing they could do about it as they were understaffed. This was the same response when I mentioned waiting 10 minutes for a shower with my kids when they are clearly being used by those without children. The hot tub has been closed numerous times in the past 6 months and when I called recently to ask before we visited the Pool, another stellar response was "It's open now, but knowing your luck it will be closed by the time you get here." The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the Pool is ideal for my younger children and the lifeguards are always very kind to them. We're pretty disappointed to say the least about the front desk staff as well as family changing room and will start visiting and spending our money at another facility.

For years Dr's prescribed me pills to cope with my driving issues. The folks at this yoga studio cured my issue in 5-6 sessions-without even knowing I HAD an issue. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It was a little hard to find, tucked away in the upper courtyard of the Winter Park Station. My bf and I arrived 20 minutes before class and had to wait outside for the instructor to arrive. Thank goodness another couple were waiting and informed us that the instructor tends to show up 15 minutes before class. The students that started piling in once the door opened all seemed very friendly, as well as the instructor. This must be one of the few studios that doesn't use the MindBodyOnline system for signing-in students. Instead, they had a binder with a sign-in sheet, so the process of signing-in and paying for our class seemed a little disorganized. Nonetheless, it was pretty affordable at $12 for a drop-in class. Again, no new student special so that's a big no-no for me. The class itself was decent, but not great. Not sure if the instructor was fairly new, because she practiced with the class, instead of walking around to adjust students during class. Some of the sequencing felt a little out of order to me, when we were doing certain poses earlier on, before our bodies were warmed up. Overall though, the instructor was very sweet and seemed to really care about her students, which is what really matters. She even brought treats for the class in preparation for Valentine's day.

They have an entire campus and are very family-friendly, I could see a family spending their whole day here if they wanted to! Day passes here are such a great value ($25 per adult and $10 per child over 5) regardless if you're a YMCA member elsewhere. The pass included the following with no extra fee for rentals: tubing, ice skating, roller skating. We also could have paid extra for climbing wall ($6), archery ($6), flat tire bikes ($20), etc...but you have to schedule that ahead of time. I was really glad we came here because it was plenty of entertainment for the family and we didn't have to plan how long we'd do each activity because there were so many options all in the same campus. If you were to go tubing elsewhere it would cost $30 per person PER HOUR, so I'm glad we came here instead where there wasn't a limit to how long we did the activity for. You have to sign waiver forms first and you can pick two different sizes for tubes. You'll have to take the tubes back up the hill yourself so keep that in mind if you have little ones or are planning to do this activity first vs. last.

But the lodgings have become increasingly disgusting in the last few years. We stayed in one of the cabins. You could smell the pet urine when you walk in. The bathroom floors were stained ?? and obviously not mopped. The carpets dusty. The microwave started to actually spark. We called the front desk for someone to come take a look or replace it...no one came. Needless to say, we left earlier than planned. It's obvious that the cabins have been neglected. I understand and empathize that there is a staffing shortage. But - Next year, we'll get more comfortable, cleaner lodgings in Fraser/winter park.

This wasn't just a vacation; it was a deeply restorative and transformative journey. While my original intention for this retreat was very different from what I ended up receiving, the actual experience was nothing short of amazing. The setting itself was breathtaking. The iron-oxide-stained sandstone formations of Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock glowed so brightly at sunset they looked Photoshopped into the horizon. The sheer silence of the desert provided a perfect backdrop for the healing work being done here. Every detail felt intentional--from the workshops Allison facilitated to the five specialized modality sessions with other guides. The curriculum was packed with value: Somatic Breathwork, Hypnotherapy, Sound Healing, and a field trip to the Airport Mesa and Boynton Canyon vortex sites for Reiki. Whether or not you're a "believer" in the spiritual energy of the rocks, the peace of the desert is undeniable. What truly set this retreat apart, however, is Allison. She has a gift for creating a safe, welcoming environment and is clearly doing what she was meant to do: helping people reconnect with their true selves. The discussion on Intention Setting was a particular standout for me, providing practical tools I'll use daily. Learning how to identify and let go of things that no longer serve me was incredibly transformative. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself, do not hesitate to book any of her retreats. It is worth every penny and then some. I'm already counting down the days until I can book my next retreat with Allison.
