Clearly I found it but in dancer terms this place was a a little bit of an arrastre (drag). Call ahead just to confirm any change in schedule. I'm not familiar with class sizes at this particular joint but there was definitely space to go around. I appreciated how extremely clean and organized the dance studio was yet lacked the unique punk, hipster, bad ass feel. Instructors were lovely but not as groovy as those at Broadway Dance as I never really got into the plie mood. She's in her second year of dancing in the ballet company. It's a lot of work! Happily, the dancers aren't measured against an impossible standard or even one another. Instead, each dancer is encouraged to work towards their personal best. Spin pole was a little too much because of the altitude sickness (my bad for not realizing) so I'd give it a few weeks or months before trying the class again when I move. I learned a piece that's been retaught, but didn't mind it since it was my 1st "chairography" class, but I've taken sexy/heels classes before. The "councilors" were barely paying attention to the kids, the room was filled with children between the ages of 6-13? without appropriate games or activities. Complete chaos any time I dropped off or picked up. I saw one councilor alone with clearly more than 40 kids by themselves. The food pictures my nephew sent were terrible. kids were in and out without any kind of supervision. I could not be more disappointed in a camp. It did not feel safe to send my nephew here for Summer camp after a horrible spring break camp experience.
