I love the half and half option! Honestly, it may be intended for a couple to share but no!! It's for me!! For a person who can't decide between milk tea and a fruit flavor. I wish more boba places offered this or I lived near GraviTea! GraviTea has been on my bookmark for quite some time but I never had a chance to visit juggling between work and mom life. One day, my son decided to take a nap on my way to Woodfield and I thought VIOLA what a perfect opportunity to visit GraviTea!! During my visit in summer of 2020, the store wasn't open for guests to enter and was only taking orders online or mobile and delivering to the car, but it worked out perfectly for me. I called to place my order and the employee was super cordial and explained some things off the menu when I had questions. Can't wait to return!

I'll never go back to this establishment again. 1. I'm positive one of the girls working there blended something (not edible) in my drink. As the drink had some kind of paper or cardboard blended up in the drink and instantly hurt my stomach. 2. They have punch cards and only punch PER VISIT instead of PER DRINK like everyone else. Doesn't matter how much you spend. And when I asked the OWNER she lied and said she wasn't the owner and she blamed the LAST owner. How embarrassing. And lastly, when you tip with your card the OWNER keeps the tips. Knowing FULL WELL NO ONE PAYS WITH CASH ANYMORE!! (The employees only get to split the cash tips.) The bathroom is a hazard and so is the couch with a broken leg. If you value your stomach and money take your business else where.

Rose, lychee, and vanilla milk tea with no toppings

Tried out this new bubble tea place this weekend and liked it. The interior is very cute, they have a pretty swinging chair and neons lights on a green wall for photos. I wasn't sure what other flavors would go best with rose for a milk tea combo, so I ended up getting rose, lychee, and vanilla and it tasted great. The flavor combination worked well together and still highlighted the rose flavor the most. I would like to come back again to try some of their pre-made combos.

Thai Tea

Their thai tea was barely a teaspoon of thai tea and the rest was milk and water (they should name it milk water not milk tea). It was so watered down and didn't even taste like thai tea. The tapioca was hard, for $8.50 just save your money and go to a different boba place. Ended up throwing the whole thing.

Came here with my sisters a few days ago to try their milk tea. When we arrived we saw posted on the window that you are to call to place your order. We called and let the girl now we were there already and placed our order. We were in a little bit of a hurry and it took her less than 5 minutes to bring out our drinks. We pulled our car up and she gave us the drinks and took payment from the car. The process was super smooth and our drinks were correct. We ordered: * Regular size black milk tea with coconut flavor, half sweet and tapioca. 7/10 * Regular size black milk tea with taro flavor, half sweet with tapioca. 7/10 *Regular size black milk tea, half sweet with tapioca and mango jellies 8.5/10 All of us really enjoyed our drinks and finished them all. We will definitely be back!

We went to this place on a Sunday night and they were slammed with customers. They usually close at 930pm but the staff was nice enough to stay open for a bit longer until everyone was served. Now, that's a great place to visit. The boba tea smoothies we ordered were delicious and we'll be back for another visit. Thank you

They were out of flavoring and substituted the flavor without telling me. I asked for a refund and was told they don't do refunds. This is unprofessional and unkind. Manager was rude, her name is Farah. Please stay away at all cause.

GraviTea was not my cup of tea. I liked that they offer a "shared" cup which is allows me to try 2 different drinks but unfortunately they both missed the mark for me. I tried the Thai milk tea and black milk tea and both tasted very watered down. They lacked the creaminess I expect in milk tea. The people were very nice and the cafe has ample seating if you are looking for a place to chill.

Spacious cafe with WiFi, many tables, and a comfy couch. Maybe friend and I were there for several hours and they had a decent amount of people coming in and out, most people carry out though. Since I couldn't figure out which flavor to have I decided to get the shared cup so I could try 2 different flavors. I haven't seen the shared cup option at other bubble tea places in this area They also have a "Surprise Me" option. I love that they do offer a decent number of fresh fruit flavor options and not everything is powder. They also have a variety of boba options. One of my flavors was a house special moh-tea (passion fruit, peach, and coconut) with the mango boba and the other side I made myself. Jasmine green milk tea with pineapple and regular boba. I forgot to tell them how much sugar I wanted added. The moh- tea is all powder flavors, I recommend if you only get the powder flavors to ask for reduced sugar. My friend tried the honeydew mojito, which was delicious! And she also tried the Earl grey milk tea with coffee jelly. The Earl grey with the coffee jelly I would probably not recommend as a combo since both are very strong flavors on their own and kind of clashed. Love the customization and the fact they offered shared cup.

This place don't add ice in the drink which is amazing! Most boule tea place they add almost half cup of ice... We are satisfied with what we ordered, but tapioca is a little bit hard for me. Everything else is good.

Left to right "Electricity" and Taro

We were out in the suburbs and my boyfriend and I were craving some tea! We happened to come across this place on Yelp, and decided what the heck let's give it a try! Located in some shopping center with other random stores nearby. We were a little surprised how empty it was for a Saturday afternoon. Figured it would be a few people in there studying or listening to music. We walked in and the place was kinda lonely and sad. Not one person in there. Either way didn't matter since we just wanted to pick up some tea and hit the road back into the city. I ordered the Taro with some boba and my boyfriend ordered "electricity" (or something similar to that name). The taro was okay. My boyfriend really enjoyed his drink called "electricity". So much so that he finished the entire thing which he never does so that is why this place deserves a 4! Overall, pretty good tea. Also, seems like there is some sort of video game console available for the customers to play? Kinda cool.

Haraz Coffee House

True Story: August 5th- My second time here at Haraz (first…read morewas on opening day with two Arab friends and we had a pretty decent if expensive Turkish coffee) and still the corner "Middle Eastern coffee lounge" looks inviting as I walk in at 8pm on a Wednesday night with a friend. Spacious and well lit and clean - but then I encounter bored untrained staff who apparently have no clue what they are offering - and worse - seem indifferent to their lack of knowledge of their menu offerings - it's not their fault they don't speak Arabic or Farsi - but the ignorance as to what is in the pastry showcase or details of their drink menu is just staggering: I ask whether any of their desserts contain nuts because my friend has a fatal allergy...answer: "not really sure but not to my knowledge" (I'm afraid that just isn't good enough for this doctor). I then ask innocently whether they have any decaffeinated tea - the chap behind the counter says with confidence "Black tea doesn't have any caffeine" I was surprised enough to question my own knowledge- and my companion, who is a medical nutritionist seemed stunned and gave up as well. She said "black tea contains about 50mg per cup - which is around half that of coffee", but he didn't take the bait and stated with that confidence that only pure ignorant bliss can impart : "No, black tea has no caffeine - it's tea...not coffee." (Suggestion to the owners here: you may want to educate your staff and quick) Then I ask patiently for the list of ingredients of the various pretty looking unlabeled and mysterious sweets selection behind the glass cabinet.... Again no understanding of what I'm asking about. "No we aren't told what's inside each and we get our pastries from small suppliers but I think there are no nuts - I don't see any nuts - and they don't tell us what's inside" ... meanwhile I see pistachios scattered all over at least two desserts in the case - and I'm only asking for a rudimentary description of ingredients- and about what's inside each item - surely not too much to ask or expect (am I being difficult here?) To the owners: this customer thought you made all your desserts in-house but your staff happily tell us customers the truth - but either way..... Surely you'd want to know what you are offering your customers ? - I mean, some of the pastries look pretty tasty, but without knowing what's inside.... I give up. Then there is the price : $16.00 for a coffee and a tea. Okay... I tell myself I am trying this place a second time and I've been told good things by friends since here last (cardamom and cinnamon spiced hot drinks! ) So when I am served my tea and coffee at the table, I ask innocently for a napkin, and the waiter (Mr "Caffeine-Free tea") nods towards the other side of the cafe and says "napkins are over there" and walks off. I guess he expects me to get up and walk over to get myself a napkin (which one would have expected he'd have brought in the first place with the drinks) - and so reluctantly I've decided this is just not the place for me to relax - And at this point I just give up ... and give in to a tasty coffee - it was pretty good - and decide sadly never to return - even if invited.

There's definitely something for everyone. We ordered a few of their mini pastries and a tiramisu. The mini pastries were delicious and made for the perfect little treats. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was a bit of a miss for me. I love a good tiramisu, but I felt like it was missing that rich espresso flavor I was hoping for. That said, it definitely didn't deter me from coming back! I didn't get a chance to try the gelato this time, but there were several flavors I had my eye on. I'll definitely be back to give them a try. Overall, such a cute bakery with a great variety of treats!

I had a small window to pick up the product (between 3pm and 4pm), so I was guessing I would get what didn't sell that day. I was pleasantly surprised what I received. I got a mini cream puff, eclair, cannoli, spinach croissant, and a few other products. All were very good. In addition, the young lady let me taste some gelato. They have around 12 different flavors. I tried the mint one. Outstanding. I will buy that one next time I visit. The place is fairly small and I can't speak for the selection at the beginning of the day, but what she packed was a great sample of what they offer.

We ordered a cappuccino, almond croissant, and cherry danish from a very helpful staff member. The pastries were pretty good, albeit on the heavy side. My danish was packed with cherries but didn't have much of the cream cheese I was hoping would cut the sweetness a bit. The cappuccino was the highlight, smooth and not overly bitter. We were there mid-morning on a Saturday, and two people were working. Our pastries came out pretty quickly, but it took a very long time for my cappuccino due to a large to-go order they were handling. It's understandable, and we weren't in a hurry anyway. I've only been here once and so I don't know if that's typical, but something to be aware of in case you're on a tight timeline. The ambiance was nice, and it would be a pleasant place to hang out and work.

What I can say from my short visit is that Sweet Reserve feels very breathable. I like how bright and clean this little place is. I watched brews being made and you can see they have passion. We came here post dinner, so Turkish breads, chicken tikka twisted bread, scones and danishes, I'll get you next time.

I was kind of surprised to see this place listed separately on Yelp as it is actually the cafe…read moreinside of Lifetime Fitness -- but hey, I'm not going to complain. My husband and I don't really plan on eating here because we just come to use the machines, take a few classes, and sit in the hot tub (which is pretty amazing); however, we decided to give it a shot just to say we've eaten there. Life Cafe's philosophy is to provide clean, healthy food to the people using the facilities. That means no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial ingredients, organic and gluten-free options, and so forth. To my surprise, they actually do a good job of sticking with this philosophy and creating a yummy menu. They also make a variety of smoothies with fruits, juices, yogurt, and milk (almond milk available for $.50 more). Whey protein is added to nearly all smoothies but you can request VeganMax protein instead, which is Lifetime's vegan protein supplement. SWEET. (I hate whey.) My husband ordered the savory roast beef sandwich and I had a wild-caught grilled salmon salad with a smoothie. The food is made fresh behind the counter so there is a slight wait. However, you're able to sit at the table and hang out until they bring the food to you (you're given a number sign when you order). My husband's sandwich seemed kind of small; yet, my salad was huge. They were both REALLY GOOD -- much better than we had expected from a place inside a fitness center. My strawberry/banana/orange juice smoothie was good although I could taste the protein powder with every sip. I got used to it. I wish they had more veggie smoothies. The cafe has a good amount of tables, large windows, and shelves of products for sale. I pretty much ignore the walls of products, but the snack bars are cool. So what's the catch? Why the four stars? The food is EXPENSIVE! Kyle's sandwich and my salad were nearly $9 each. I realize that the quality is amazing (and heck, Lifetime's membership isn't cheap) but I just can't afford to pour more money into this place. I'm still glad we tried it!
