Alana greeted us at the door at 730AM, and was so attentive and friendly! I spoke on my dog's behalf, as she doesn't speak English. First-time visitors, and Alana made our dog comfortable immediately, but also discussed the expectations and gave an accurate time that she would be done. Fair pricing, plenty of on-site parking, a local Boulder business who will get our business each time in the future as a result of a positive visit.

The staff are nice. But Kyle, the general manager is unprofessional and untrustworthy. My puppy got…read morehurt and of course, conveniently their cameras were not working at the time. My dog has a special need, and I stated that from the beginning. Kyle decided 30 days later shortly after she got hurt that they couldn't accommodate to her. Bowhaus did start an open claim with their insurance company. Kyle received the orthopedic vet exam report and he had the audacity to tell me there was nothing wrong with my dog per his own observation. It was very dismissive and he basically disregarded the exam/ x-rays that was performed by one of Colorados top vet orthopedic hospital. Kyle is not a vet or anything close to it he openly admits. I sent him a video of her limping then he stops emailing me or return my calls. Their insurance company is a joke. Out of nowhere the claim adjuster started raising her voice, cutting me off and then hung up on me. I called two different times requesting to speak to Kyle after speaking to the insurance agent. Even stating to his staff to give him a memo of the urgency of the reason of why he needs to call or I would report Bowhaus Boulder to CDA for PACFA violations of Duty of care. Of course, ultimately Kyle never got back to me.

I went in to use the self dog wash. At first there was no one at the front desk, but someone came…read moreout after a few minutes and told me just wait a second for her to get one ready for me. My dog has a lot of anxiety in new places because he was a rescue who was abused before I got him. He started whining after we had been waiting about five minutes and darting around the room pulling me nervously. I looked back in the dog wash and there was no one using it.. I asked an employee how much longer it would be before we would be allowed to use it and she said probably about 20 minutes, so we and left. No one seemed to notice my dog was anxiously whining. I'm not sure why we weren't welcomed to use the dog wash since there was no one back there.

Though Tynkerbell was still anxious during her groom, our groomer- Sierra, called me throughout the process to let me know how Tynk was doing. What amazed me was that Sierra didn't give up, like past groomers have!! Besides that, Tynk seemed to trust her and came out looking the best she's ever looked!!
