I took my dog to get her groomed, she is 6 years old the worst-case groom I have ever had I cried all the way home the last thing I said to her before I left her was do not cut the tail ! They cut the tail!!! And her beard she is a doodle!!! She doesn't look like she was brushed so unevenly cut I think I could have done better with my scissors. But the only silver lining is that it will grow back. Her face does not look shampooed it still has dirt on top of her nose. I am so disappointed still crying. I will not go back ever !!!! read more

Upon entering Grand Central Grooming one wants a nose plug due to the fowl smell. I am very upset with what alex did with my Bichon puppy. Every time i look at him i want to cry. I made it very clear i did not want him buzzed. I found a picture that was sort of what i was looking for but it was still too short so i again reiterated in a text as i was leaving i did not want him buzzed. Why didn't she text or call me to make sure i was ok with her going very short? That would have been the considerate thing to do! She did exactly the opposite of what i was looking for. read more

Courtney did a fantastic job with my three dogs, two German Shepherds and a cocker spaniel mix. The big German, who is 125 lb, she handled like a champ, and they are all so clean and pretty now. I think I've finally found a grooming salon that's perfect for me and my babies. I have two Shihzus that have separation anxiety and grooming can be struggle , plus a guilt trip for me . But I have brought both my babies in twice and I couldn't believe the second time dropping them off , they were happy, not shaking , tails wagging ! Just their behavior and interactions with the groomers really shows they take excellent care of my pets. Sweetheart groomers , great customer service , fairly priced . Giving Grand Central Grooming two stars is generous. I felt like their price was very reasonable however there were several issues. When I picked up my dog I was surprised at all the loose stray hair that came off of him. I have never picked up my dog from another groomer and had hair all over me before, and I shouldn't. It seemed like they didn't do a final brush down. I also noticed that my dog's ears had not been brushed or trimmed. And I am not sure the nails were done. Since the grooming session, my dog has been acting very strange. She hasn't been eating, seems very subdued and keeps running and hiding. Makes me wonder what exactly went on during the session. I'm not sure what is going on with her, but it makes me nervous and I definitely won't be returning. read more

Took my pup in for a Covid fur cut. Covid fur cut is a grooming done after missing out on a 6 month dog grooming and waiting for almost a year for a grooming. Grand Central Grooming performed so well, and politely with great dog care that I driving 30 miles for a scheduled fur cut for my canine pal was worth the time and distance. Participated in the curbside covid19 -outside dog drop off then enjoyed a meal at Santa Fe Coffee and Burrito. So what? I can give a plug for two businesses in one review. read more
