I decided to use Collar Cuts because my dog has been shaking when I drop him off at PetSmart for groomings. I had a great experience with collar Cuts and will definitely use them again. Tina showed up within the window we had schedule and was able to groom my dog quickly but throughly! It was so nice not having to leave my house nor schedule my whole day around a grooming! He also got a cute little tie.

I have an extremely anxious dog, Tynkerbell, who does not handle grooming well. I wanted to try mobile grooming in hopes it wouldn't make her as anxious. Though Tynkerbell was still anxious during her groom, our groomer- Sierra, called me throughout the process to let me know how Tynk was doing. What amazed me was that Sierra didn't give up, like past groomers have!! Besides that, Tynk seemed to trust her and came out looking the best she's ever looked!! read more

Our pup was sprayed by a skunk last night around 10:30pm. I texted Collar Cuts and they replied around 7am the next morning and thankfully had an opening at 9:30. I've had my dog groomed 2 times by this company, no complaints with the groomers, My dog is short haired and only needs bathing and nail trims, the groomers both did a good job. However, the company is breaking the law in the way they collect card and electronic payments. In their agreement that they have you sign, it states that they charge 2.90% on all card and electronic transactions, they even reference Colorado Revised Statute 5-2-212 as their ability to do so. However, they apparently never read the statute. It very clearly states that they can charge that fee on credit cards and credit cards ONLY. It specifically states that it is unlawful to charge on debit, electronic payments, gift cards etc.. (anything that is considered cash). Today I paid cash, but then remembered that in April I used my debit for groom and gave a cash tip to the groomer. It was supposed to be $80 and they charged my card $88.08 in violation of the law. I will be requesting a refund and recommend that anyone that paid debit or electronic request a refund of those fees. read more

Collar Cuts does a fantastic with our Aussie. She is a high energy pup and they are very gentle and patient with her. We get a full report on her behavior during the grooming service, she is always happy after she has been groomed and feels comfortable with the groomers. Raiana has been our groomer most recently and she is incredible. She is caring and kind and you can tell she really cares about her clients! We have been using Collar Cuts for about 3 years. They do a professional job, and our dogs are treated with care and compassion. Our chocolate lab looks like a new dog after (he gets a deshedding treatment). Our pit bull mix is very anxious, but Brandy makes him feel comfortable. He even lets her trim his nails....a minor miracle! if your dog hates going to the groomer and staying all day, this is the perfect choice. This shop is wonderfully patient with him, and every time I've been there, the place has at least 1 or 2 other poodles (or mixes) happily in the pen. That should speak to their service. Christian usually takes care of my buddy. He is incredibly polite and he also takes the time to hear my concerns before and after grooming. I feel like he's immensely attentive -- as he takes notes on what I liked or didn't like about the cut; he notices when I'm early, stressed, etc; and he offers help for tackling various issues (matting, dry skin, etc). He is great! My buddy leaves here with a cute bandana or bow tie, and even though my dog hates being groomed, he doesn't seem stressed when we pull up.

First and last time here! Sub-par groomer Colin injured 3 out of 4 paws apparently during nail…read moretrim. This was not disclosed to me upon pickup. Noticed after we got home the pink area on one paw. Closer observation discovered two areas on that paw each with slight matting I would presume from the no stop product that was used to stop bleeding. Two other paws had been injured the same. Also, the coat was cut uneven and the face barely trimmed. So sorry and sad that I put my sweet pup through this.

I wish I could give zero stars…read more We have been bringing our dog to Carissa for grooming for a while. Early on, after one visit our dog developed an ear infection from water getting into his ear. I paid the vet bill and chose not to make a big deal out of it because things happen. We continued going and things seemed mostly fine until today. On Monday they called asking if I could move our Friday appointment to Tuesday. I agreed and brought my dog in at the time they requested, 2:00 PM. When we dropped him off, we asked when they closed and were told 5:00 PM and that he would be ready around 4:45. They normally call when he is ready. Around 4:50 I still had not received a call so I phoned to check. The woman who answered said she would check and came back saying he was ready. We arrived at 4:55. After waiting for a couple ahead of us to pay, we paid and tipped as we always do. Usually they bring him right out, but this time they did not. I walked toward the back desk thinking he would be coming out any second. That's when I heard someone yelling aggressively and cursing at my dog. I looked behind the door to confirm it was Carissa and asked, "Excuse me, are you talking to my dog that way?" She immediately denied it. Another girl was in the room and when I asked, she said "it wasn't me," meaning she wasn't the one speaking to him that way. What made this even worse was that my dog was still on the grooming table being cut, meaning he was not actually ready when they told me he was. It was already close to closing time. She immediately changed her tone and said he was doing great, then rushed him off the table covered in hair. His nails were not finished and the overall grooming job was terrible. But the unfinished groom is not even the main issue. The way my dog was being spoken to and handled is completely unacceptable. No animal should ever be yelled at or cursed at like that. If this is how pets are treated when owners are not watching, people deserve to know. I will never bring my dog back here. If you care about how your pet is treated, I strongly suggest finding another groomer.

Lilly May is now 10 and it used to really stress her out and she would start shaking as soon as we got to a groomers. Groombuggy allowed me to work from home and get my two girls all beautified! My groomer was very communicative about when arriving, if I was satisfied with their groom, ect. They came out with cute bows and sashes! Really appreciate and enjoy this service. It's a bit more expensive, but you pay for the convenience for you and your pups.

First, I brought my dachshund and lab into the Gentle Groomer Too and now I bring my Malinois. Their prices are fair and their services are top notch. Bridget has groomed all three of my boys exclusively for four years. As much as I hate to admit it, they like her more than they like me. I have never seen a dog get excited to get bathed and have their nails trimmed, but my boys love going to see Bridget! She is caring, sweet, talented, and patient. Many of my friends and co-workers also go to the Gentle Groomer Too and I have never heard any negative comments about their visits. I now live 40 minutes away but I continue to use Bridget and the Gentle Groomer Too so my boy looks, smells, and feels great! I recommend the Gentle Groomer Too to everyone and will continue to use them for years to come. Their shop has a happy, clean, and caring atmosphere that puts me and my boys at ease. We started using Collar Cuts Mobile Grooming when we moved into our new home in Thornton. We have 3 small dogs who have been groomed many times and at many different places. Collar Cuts is by far THE BEST GROOMING we have ever experienced. The convenience of her coming to our home is just a side benefit because the job she does on our pets is perfect and I would drive 50 miles to have her groom them. They always look adorable with matching bows and bandana for the boy, and they SMELL WONDERFUL for a long time after the grooming. Their nails are perfectly groomed and I believe the dogs are far less fearful over the whole situation because it is right out front of our home. I highly recommend Collar Cuts Mobile Grooming. Collar cuts has groomed my two Australian terriers three times now (the last two were Fran). They're always on time, quick, but not rushed, and they take the time to listen and ask questions each time about how I want my dogs groomed. The haircuts look great, the bath soap smells nice, but not overpowering (or sickly sweet), and they offer extra services, such as teeth brushing and nail grinding, that seem a little pricey to me, but I feel are worth the extra money. Overall, one of the better mobile groomers I've used...professional, great service, and they usually aren't booked out too far in advance (I've been able to get on the schedule same week as I call, which usually doesn't happen). read more

I have two small dogs, a Bichon Frise - Yorkie mix and a Maltese - Pomeranian mix. My Bichon has a somewhat woolly coat that can get tangled and he is very fearful of strangers. Frances was very careful with him, and my sometimes diva Maltese too! What I appreciate most is that she really listed to what I wanted, made suggestions, but was careful to make sure she delivered exactly what was asked for! I love that they come to me in the trailer, as my fearful dog isn't fond of car rides either. Frances is also great about texting her ETA to me, which lets me get them rounded up to meet her at the door. Great experience and I am a happy client! read more

I used this grooming service one year ago for two cats and recently decided to use the service again. The second time did not go well and I will not be returning or recommending. Tummy shaving was uneven. Nails were not trimmed enough and a few days later catching on things. Invoiced for a "lion cut" which I did not request or receive. Only 20 minutes was spent on each cat - they were returned to me wet, one was dripping water on the carpet and over 5 hours later still not dry. Incorrect arrival time and time spent was listed on the invoice. Don't use this service for your cats. read more

Collar Cuts has been wonderful for me and my dog! Our groomer, Rhianne , always makes sure to take good care of my baby and lets me know if there are any issues or concerns during the grooming. Even though our little dog starts off a bit scared of getting groomed, he always comes back happy and with an increased friendliness towards Rhianne, which lets me know she was very good to him. The Collar Cuts truck is very well equipped and always on time. I really appreciate that they come to my house allowing me to continue on with my day while the dog gets groomed. read more

Francis has been grooming my 16 year old bichon for over two years now. She also trims and grinds our other dogs massive nails. She is so gentle and kind to our dogs. They are eagerly waiting their turns. Francis always makes the Bichon look like a show dog. She is a very talented groomer. Our doggies always get a cute little scarf too. Today was our first time using Collar Cutz to groom our nearly 9-year-old German Shepherd, Mia, and we're really happy with the experience. The booking process was quick and easy, and although the groomer arrived about 20 minutes late, it didn't disrupt our schedule. More importantly, she went above and beyond to ensure Mia--and we--were completely satisfied with the service. I have been using Collar Cuts for 9 years now and I would not even think about going any where else!!! When you make an appointment they are here at the house on time all the time. They are very caring about what they do and treat your pets as family!! I use to take my Howie to another grooming company and would pick him up 8 eight hours later and he was always distraught for a couple days afterwards. This grooming service is the best around! We have not always had great experiences with other groomers but I don't have anything bad to say about this one! We have a dog who is very timid and scared (we have had other groomers tell us she is difficult to cut) but this groomer always takes such good care of her, pays attention to detail, listens to what we like, takes their time, and our pup always comes back happy and looking her best! This is a great grooming service! It was wonderful to have the groomer come to our house. She wore a mask the entire time; the grooming trailer was very clean, and the entire process took about 2 hrs 30 mins total for 2 dogs. Both dogs looked great, and 1 had been very matted, as she is a rescue dog and fairly new to our family. She is terrified of strangers, so we had no idea how she would do. Benji, the groomer, was fantastic with her! We will definitely continue to use collar cuts! read more

Bohdi continues to love his grooming day with Frances. It makes our little guy smell so fresh and clean and his summer cuts makes these dog days of summer so much more tolerable. As a Cavapoo, he has a coat between curly and wavy - that probably isn't the easiest to cut. Frances has done almost all of our cuts with Bohdi since we got him, so that means she's been coming here about 3+ years. I feel most fortunate to have Crystal at Collar Cuts groom my dog. Crystal is extremely efficient, grooms my dog exactly as I want and eagerly makes minor adjustments when I request them. She is extremely friendly and genuinely cares for the pets she grooms. My dog is always happy to see her and happy when she returns him to me, so I know he is being taken care of with a great deal of compassion. I've been using them for awhile now. My dog is elderly (16) and going to a traditional groomer was to stressful for him. Collar cuts comes to my house. He's out there less than 2 hours. Sometimes they'll send me cute pictures of him getting his hair cut. They give him little bow ties. He always smells great and looks great. They are also very mindful of his little old man moles that have popped up on his body. I can't say enough good things. I recommend them to everyone read more

Called on a Wednesday and got an appointment two days later. Jackson was on time and did a great job with my dog's bath and the haircut was exactly as we requested. So nice to not have the grooming appointment take hours with my dog in a cage for most of that time like it was with other groomers. Also love that my dog was right outside my home if there were any issues. It is definitely worth the money and this will be the only groomer we use from now on! read more

I am so incredibly grateful for collar cuts mobile grooming. My fur baby gets so stressed out in the car. I simply walk her to the mobile grooming van and wait. I just had my second appointment with collar cuts mobile grooming and it was just as good as the first time. Having them come to my house makes it so convenient and the wait time to have my yorkie groomed is SO much shorter, which makes me happy because my baby gets nervous when she's left with someone she doesn't know. I wanted to get my puppy in before a trip I had and Chris (literally) moved mountains to help get me in. Friendliest and most authentic interaction I've ever had. Lana was out yesterday to give 14 yo Lilly a much needed haircut! Lilly is blind, deaf and according to Lana has trouble standing for the entire haircut process! I didn't want Lilly go through the stress of staying at a groom facility for 1/2 day and decided to give the mobile grooming a try. After going to the same groomer for over 15 years we decided to make a change, so glad we did. First time using Collar Cuts, and what a great experience! Mercedes did a great job with our Pixie (Chihuahua/Terrier), she took the time to get to know our fur child, which gave Pixie the time to relax and trust her. I have had my dog groomed twice now with Collar Cuts and both times were great. My dog has trouble with other animals due to some trauma with his previous owners so this is such a wonderful option for me. They are timely, well priced, and great about communication from scheduling to completion. He looks so good when he is done and my kids love how soft he is after.
