Highly recommend! Our beloved dog Sophie (who recently passed) dealt with anxiety issues, defensiveness and also grumpiness from taking Prednisone for most of her life. She had difficulty with other groomers over the years. We thought we were at the end of our rope trying to find someone who could groom our dog. A few years ago, we discovered People's Pups. Jaimie became Sophie's groomer until our beloved pup left us just recently. Jaimie is an amazing "dog whisperer" who handled Sophie amazingly well. Sophie always returned to us in wonderful condition with a great cut (despite also being a wiggle worm). If and when we get another dog, we'll absolutely return to ask for Jaimie again! read more

This place was really good when it first opened.The customer service is now horrible. First of all they never answer the phone, they are abrupt when you walk in. They are in your face about not taking credit cards. When we complained about our dog's uneven cut from a previous visit the owner blamed our dog for being squirmy. She is a Yorkie so yes is squirmy. She then pushed hard for our dog to be given CBD before she is brought in. How professional ! read more

i took my puppy today and i gave them pretty specific instructions on what i wanted done to him. They brought out a chart with different hair lengths and i choose the longest i say not to touch the face much and he came back almost bald, his hair is uneven and you can see where they passed the clippers on his hair, his paws are cut uneven some are longer some are shorter and one of them looks shaped like a square , on his face i said not to cut his eyelashes and he came back with uneven lashes one is way longer , His tail was matted which means he didn't even get brushed ,he also came back with a very weird attitude he looked lost and disoriented in some way . I will not be coming back and there is no way this can be fixed read more

When I first started coming a year ago they were fantastic. Then within the year 5 different "groomers" have come and gone. No one can ever be reached on the phone. The last appointment they didn't record so we walked in and were told we didn't have an appointment. I specifically asked for a nail trim with a clipper and then they charged more because they used the grinder. We asked to be present when nails were getting cut and they said no we could not be in the room with our pup but as we have done it for the last year we proceeded to go back anyway. The two "newest" people were rude, had a hard time looking up information and I think they were either stoned or just too new to know what they were doing. I will never go back there. read more

I dropped my two dogs off at the scheduled time, 1230, called to check on them at 230, was told they will not be done until 5pm, close of business...5.5 hours????, I was told they were down a person but this was also, what I was told, when I had to reschedule for the second time. Came and picked my dogs up, not even groomed after 3 hours there. read more

I took my Bernadoodle to Peoples Pup for grooming, as it was my second visit to their establishment. As a newcomer to the area, I'm in search of a reliable grooming spot for my doodle every 8 weeks. Peoples Pup stood out to me for their reasonable pricing, convenient scheduling options, and good reviews online. Additionally, they mentioned they have a ton of experience with doodles, which further motivated me to give them a try. However, my first experience was only okay. Unfortunately, my pup came back with an uneven cut, which was explained as the result of the groomer having to leave due to illness. Given the circumstances, I was willing to overlook this issue. On my second visit, eight weeks later I encountered a different groomer, and it seemed like she might have been lacking in experience. Once again, I reiterated my preferences for my dog's grooming, particularly emphasizing that her long and beautiful eyelashes should not be trimmed. This time, the grooming process took longer than usual, prompting me to inquire about the delay. To my surprise, they had attempted to contact me via text but had sent it to the wrong number, despite having my correct information on file. When my dog was brought out, I was dismayed to see that one set of her eyelashes had been cut down to a 1/4" in length, (right by her eye) while the other set was trimmed down to a full inch. Previously, her lashes were an impressive 4.5 inches long. This has never happened in the five years I've been getting her groomed. Additionally, her overall cut appeared choppy all over her belly, back, sides and the front sides of her face are unevenly trimmed and look choppy. The cut is horrible! When I brought up the issue of the lashes, the owner attributed it to my dog moving during the grooming process, which resulted in an attempt to 'match' them evenly. However, not only do the lashes not match, but I was also disappointed that this wasn't communicated to me when I picked her up; I had to point it out myself. The owner's dismissive attitude towards the situation left me feeling quite dissatisfied. Overall, while I appreciated their pricing and scheduling convenience, the lack of attention to detail and communication regarding significant changes to my dog's appearance was disappointing and concerning. I do not recommend this place if you have a big doodle. read more

This is my second time coming to the place to have my Yorkie groomed. They do a good job... but It's $80 for my small 10 pound yorkie. Which to each their own. But on top of that, I booked her latest appointment during the week which is all they had. I also work in the Orchard Towne Center and she had been ready around 1:30pm but I don't get off work until 3pm. I let them know this and this was their response to me HAVING A JOB and being unable to pick her up right away. They would CHARGE ME EVERY HOUR for not having her picked up by the time they were done. My total after all of that was $105 plus they expected me to tip! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE SINGLE WITH A JOB. In my opinion, I'm already paying $80 for my small dog and can only imagine what they charge for Great Danes. But on top of that, they want to charge a "Boarding fee" because they don't like dogs in kennels... All in all probably won't be back and there are definitely cheaper options out there with fair prices who do just as well of work. read more

She does all the cats and understood first time fears. She said it would be an hour or less so I stayed around. Was about 40 min to do both. Overpriced to begin with, and then they'll shamelessly nickel and dime you. Somehow a $50 bath became $85 out the door, and when asked, they just kind of mumbled and pointed. Whatever. Entire place felt very disorganized and dirty. Sloppy job on her nails. Definitely don't get the shedding treatment, absolute ripoff, she shed more hair on the way home than she has all year. They like to take down google reviews so here it is. If I could give this place NO stars I absolutely would. DONT take your puppy here, I might as well have taken him to get butchered. They sliced my puppys paw open but think it was okay because they paid his vet bill that he wouldn't have even had to go to if it wasn't for their negligence. They think it was okay because they offered me "a free cut and a refund" as if I can put a price on my babys trauma or as if I'd ever want them to touch him again. They think it was okay because he didnt have to get stitches but instead had to have it glued back together. They had the audacity to blame my puppy for being "too energetic" hello he's a PUPPY! Only 5 months old with a jacked up paw now. Don't call yourself an experienced groomer if you don't know how to safely and efficiently perform a service. They never thought to call and tell me that they couldn't finish the service if he was too "energetic", also didn't even have the decency to call me when it happened, just let me pick him up while he was still bleeding where he bled all over my car. I don't even know what he truly went through while in their care, I'm sure it was nothing nice though. I could also complain about the haircut they did and how they didn't even trim his nails but that's irrelevant at this point. Anyways, AVOID supporting this small business. I can assure you that they do not give a care in the world about doing a quality job and have blatant disregard for INJURING your pet. I'm sure someone will hop on here and want to argue about this post but I expect that of this unprofessional place. All I'm saying is, if you want to get your same happy and beautiful puppy back, don't put your trust in this place. It's been a week and my puppys paw pad doesn't look any better and if you know anything about paw pads. They never grow back the same and always remain tender after being injured. Save yourself some vet trips in advance. ***EDIT IN RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE *** Their idea of an apology is " Sorry BUT my deductible isn't worth this LITTLE problem" and " Sorry BUT accidents happen" & again " Sorry BUT your husband said everything was okay" no sincere apology was made after this incident, and here they are again trying to justify it because my boyfriend was "calm" when in reality he just didn't want to be rude to any of them because he is a man and men cant disrespect woman. I am saying everything he wish he could have said but in no way shape or form was he "calm" about the situation, we are BOTH very much upset and most importantly DISAPPOINTED in the way this establishment handled this situation! It was in very poor taste and as for this happening " moments" upon arrival I am having a very hard time understanding that as the text message said he was " ready" I feel very confident that nothing would've even been said about the injury if my boyfriend didn't physically see him bleeding. & if it DID indeed happen moments upon arrival then that tells me that they were in a RUSH! Unbelievable. & If they would've read the report correctly which I'm sure they didn't because they just do not care, his injury had to be GLUED SHUT , GLUED BACK TOGETHER, NOT just " bandaged " like they are claiming. read more
