This place was packed. I mean like packed. They were unfortunately out of the breakfast sandwiches but you know this place is legit when literally the property line next door is a fully dedicated kitchen/bakery area where they literally make all the bread!!! It's amazing. The ham and cheese croissant and salad were like 4 stars. But the real star of the show was the quiche!!! Literally the best creamiest quiche I have ever tried in my life. I would come back here lining up just for the quiche! Wish I ordered two! Also their freshly baked bread loafs are Fresh and so tasty. I took one home to Bellevue and I think it's also reasonably priced. Way to go! I'll definitely be back if I'm in Duvall!

Such a cute spot on Main Street. I grabbed a couple sandwiches to go and had to try a cookie, of course. The sandwiches were good, but the caprese wasn't my favorite (the spinach was a weird addition to me) but I would definitely try a different sandwich next time. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing and I will definitely be back in soon to try more things.

I have been wanting to try Grateful Bread, and finally got a chance to try it. We had already had breakfast, and got Sourdough bread(their most popular bread), and a couple pieces of ham quiche. We loved both the Sourdough bread, and ham quiche. We'll be back to try their sandwiches and baked goods.

Better than we thought!! Coffee (americano) was actually pretty solid and the cinnamon roll was pretty good too! Would def try it again if in the area.

We love this cute little bakery in downtown Duvall. The pastries and coffee are delicious, always a hit! They also have loaves of bread and today we'll try a sesame wheat loaf. Overall, would definitely come back. Happy eating!

Nice local bakery in Duvall. I got the biscuits and gravy and the portion was very sizable for only $6 something. The line was very long so that means its popular locally. I would come here again and try the croissants or other pastries. The service was friendly and they had ice cold water which was nice.

Grateful bread makes me grateful. They serve really tasty pastries and breakfast sandwiches and the coffee is super yummy as well. The inside is so cozy and the staff are super sweet. Definitely stopping by the next time I'm in town!

cute simple hole in the wall - truly have to look for it when walking down in downtown duvall. resting place next door to its second building where you can see the goods being made, the ambiance is so relaxed. a nice place to sip some warm coffee with a good treat, & have a nice talk with a loved one. the range of options for baked treats that were savory & sweet was magnificent. freshly baked every morning, along with their biscuits & gravy. which, their lunch menu is as well extravagant filled with varieties of sandwiches of all sorts. the coffee is very basic of what you'd find at a normal coffee shop word of advice though is to make sure to go in the morning, otherwise your missing out on all the baked treats ! by closing time or even a few hours before, they're pretty much wiped of everything: that should seal the deal of how good they are ! the only downside i saw was their biscuits & gravy was very much do a let down. the bread was good, a savory biscuit, but the gravy was lacking flavor & was pretty milky / season-less. i was only able to stand eating it once i went home & added my own seasonings, which isn't worth it when going out to eat

I specifically was seeking out Sky River Bakery on 3/15/25. I lucked out with a nearby parking spot and had an opportunity to check out the pastry case offerings while in line. There's also a few tables to dine at onsite. Pleasant small town, neighborhood feel. Both folks behind the counter were welcoming and kindly answered my questions. Nice assortment of beverages and baked goods available like biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and other pastries. The person ahead of me made it a point to have biscuits and gravy plus cinnamon rolls to go. Cinnamon roll got my attention! I ended up ordering a ham & cheese biscuit - got two mini ones for the price of one, plus a cinnamon roll. The latter kept really well refrigerated which I later ate for breakfast before work during the week. Nice that it was a manageable size and not too cloying with glaze...Goldilocks just right, lol. Enjoyed this destination detour and thanks to fellow Yelp Elites, Craig and Earnie for putting this on my radar screen!

Haven't tried their coffee yet wish they have more tables and chairs for people to hang out. I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked. No butter used. Everything is certified gluten free. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour. There's also paleo, keto options. Had my doubts. I thought I would not be a return customer when prices range from $7.50-$7.95 per pastry and $23.50 for a sourdough loaf and prices are not posted. Sticker shock. Well initially. The fact that I can actually enjoy this without worrying about my health I thought let's give it a go. My husband didn't feel inflamed like he would after eating a gluten filled pastry. Even better is it tasted so good! We couldn't believe it'd be even possible?! There's some amazing bakery chefs here! Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big choc chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these. Great flavor and texture. I changed my mind, I am willing to pay $7.95 per treat any day! On my second visit, they only had one left on day old scone for half price. Out of all fresh ones. Still tasted decent. In fact, that's a great deal! My only concern now is calories! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the higher cost is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is fantastic. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. We cannot be more happy to have a specialty bakery in town. Can't wait to return for more scones, cookies and sourdough when we run out!

Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

If you haven't been yet, the entire bakery setup is amazing, but their cakes are the absolute crown jewel. Here is what makes this place stand out: Perfectly Balanced Cakes: As you can see from the beautiful mango cake ,their desserts are a work of art. The best part? They use high-quality ingredients and have significantly less sugar than typical American bakeries. It's light, airy, and not overwhelmingly sweet. Excellent Savory Selection: Beyond the sweets, their savory pastries and baked goods are top-tier and always fresh. Great Service & Cozy Atmosphere: The service here is exceptionally welcoming and efficient. While it's a popular spot, they do have a few seats inside if you want to sit down and enjoy your treat on the spot. Whether you're picking up a signature cake box for a birthday or just grabbing a morning pastry, this place completely delivers on quality. Highly recommended!

We had been noticing this bakery for a while since we'd driven past it many times on our way to hikes, and we finally got to try it today. I had a breakfast muffin. It was great, very simple yet tasty. At first I thought one muffin might not be enough, but glad that was wrong, I was about 80% full after eating it. My partner got the avocado omelette, it came with toast and hash browns. We were surprised by how fluffy and soft the toast was, definitely the best toast we've had at any breakfast spot. He said the omelette was tasty too. We also grabbed some coffee and pastries before we left. I had a spicy German sausage and a chocolate bar, my partner got an apple fritter and an apple pull apart. I had the chocolate bar later after our hike. It was sweet and fluffy, not too heavy since I had it with coffee. Then I had the German sausage for dinner. The sausage was actually spicy, not just a mild black pepper kind of American European spicy, but a real deal spicy. I loved it! Staffs in the bakery were very friendly and attentive too. I'm glad I got to support such a lovely local business. This place is a solid one.
