The burger bowl was great. I hadn't had meat in a week, and it was perfect. The green chiles were delish

We love Grassburger! My favorite is the burger bowl! A place to definitely try if you haven't already. Parking is good, you can always find a spot. read more

Wow. Absolutely can not recommend this place enough!!! At first I didn't try it because I thought it was only a vegan / vegetarian joint but I was wrong. They also serve grass fed beef and I can say it's one of the nest burgers I have ever consumed. Fast service too. I get the green chile jack bowl and it's the same thing as the green chile jack burger, but in a bowl like a salad from of a burger. Just incredible. Have been getting as many people as I can to try it because it's mouth watering and shocking with how good it is. read more

Great food and service. The food was good and quick. I would definitely recommend everyone tries it. We will be back.

Solid burger, nothing to get crazy over but grass fed is better for us. The girl at the register was nice, place was pricey and the avocado was more like onion mashed guacamole. The fries are solid, overall it's a solid travel stop. Crushes fast food read more

grassburger is the best burger place to ever grace albuquerque. we all packed down our meals within five minutes

My previous review did have emotion tied to it. So, I decided to try it again. And, not impressed. I know a lot of people throw around "organic this and that" but it's a messy burger. You need a slew of napkins for each bite. Juicy or greasy? I feel that a lot of these places are over-hyped by a younger audience who may be more impressed with the social aspect rather than quality. I said it in my last review, I'll say it again, it's a burger that reminds me of cookouts at my parents by the pool. You have your audience, good for you. I just don't get the appeal of a unnecessarily expensive burger. Other "designer" burger places have quality backing the price. Summarizing it in a simple way, if I was somewhere else, a different restaurant, and I received this, I would have asked for my money back. But when I first asked them about the burger, it was "that's the way we make it, and......". It's a minute flat for them to explain how they do burgers. I also understand that many people are trying to cut out preservatives and live a cleaner life, and you made that choice by ordering a burger? Don't kid yourself, calories are calories. Facts are facts, no matter how tall you make your promotional materials inside the store. The FDA doesn't regulate the "organic" field too much, so anyone can really say it and it could be a varying wide range of half truths. My review is basing my experience of flavor, texture, it was all bland. Like I said earlier, good for you as a business to have so many people willing to shell out the money for supposed quality. read more

Grassburger - An overpriced burger. - Burgers Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

I love me some burgers, so I decided to give this place a shot since I do enjoy grass fed beef. I walked in and was immediately pressured to place my order by some pushy staff. I was the only customer there at the moment, so I was a little surprised by the pressure given by two employees. I finally made up my mind and placed my order and then waited my 5-10 minutes for may order to come up. My burger was good, but nothing to I'd quickly return to have again. The facility was super clean and their Covid practices were tight. On this particular visit, they didn't have any patio seating to enjoy my meal at. I don't know whether is was just poor weather that day or if they aren't utilizing patio seating for now. Final Vote: This business is out of my usual routes, but if I were out that way and was hungry for a burger, I might return. read more

Always good always perfect. I get the burger bowl and love it. So fulfilling and delicious! I definitely recommend.

There are 3 things I can eat for every meal burgers are one of them. Being close to Grassburger and having never eaten there was a easy choice. Located in a strip mall it was easy to locate. The draw is grass fed beef vs hormone feed lot fed. We ordered the mushroom Swiss and bacon cheddar burgers. Each is advertised as gmo free potato buns, chipotle Mayo and the other usual stuffings. Our food was delivered quickly. Both burgers had a noticeably different taste. Not the usually fatty served elsewhere. Fries came skin on, shoestring style - equally tasty. Coke products are purchased in a bottle, craft fountain drinks are served thru a dispenser as is tea. Although decidedly a carnivore, there are vegan options available including black bean burgers and dairy-free shakes. One of the other non food things I like was the recycling program. Coke bottles were 100% recycled, used frying oil is used for fuel, etc. So a great burger combined with everything else earns a solid 5. read more

I really enjoyed my burger and fries, the price is fair, and the staff person taking my order was really nice.

One of my favorite places to eat and I'm thrilled I can get them through DoorDash so I can keep eating them during quarantine. Their sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo are A+ and I love their bowls with rice and quinoa. It's so helpful they don't use soy at all in their facility, have celiac alerts available, and I can avoid the potato (regular) if need be. I just wish on DoorDash that I could state celiac alert. Their fountain sodas take some getting used to, but I love mixing the cola with the vanilla one now that I got used to it. read more

The kids were very nice...BUT... I ordered my bacon cheeseburger on the Toast app while having a beer next door at La Cumbre with no chipotle mayo, no lettuce, no tomato no onion, extra mayo, extra pickle. I got my burger and it had lettuce tomato onion, no mayo no pickle and chipotle mayo all over it. So I took it back and they remade it, they never notified me that it was ready so I had to go back over three different times to get my burger, which was hard because I had my dog with me. There was no bacon on it. I paid for bacon. It's a bacon cheeseburger. Why would I not want bacon??? Fries were old and cold. There were literally four other customers in the store and about seven kids behind the counter. It wasn't a really complex order and it came back correct on the app and on my receipt. The burgers are great. Soda machine is cool too. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We'll likely come back

We have a sick dog at home. She hasn't eaten in days, and I've tried feeding her all manner of chicken and turkey, with no luck. Last night, I brought home from Grassburger a green chili cheeseburger for myself, and guess who ate half of it with me!? I really like these burgers and so does my dog. Grassburger got her back on the path to health. read more

Decent burger chain with grass-fed burgers, fries, stubborn soda, ice cream shakes, a few local beers, and even some wine. The green chile jackburger is surprisingly tasty while most of the other burgers seem like they are missing a layer of flavor, but are happily enjoyed by most. They intentionally overcook all their burgers, but they are still tasty enough. The potato bun makes for a perfect container for the flavor between the buns, but they also offer bowls if you'd like to skip the grain and even a gluten-free bun for those that can't handle the wheat. read more

Been meaning to try this place for a while, and finally got around to it this past weekend. Was excited to try some good quality burgers and it lived up to my expectations. I got the cheddar burger, and it was perfectly cooked and juicy. The bun was nice and soft and held everything together well. They provide ketchup, mustard, and mayo packets so you can make it to your liking. I also had a bite of my husband's green chile burger, but you couldn't taste much heat, so I personally wouldn't get this one again. We also got an order of mixed fries, and they were fine-- some a little limp, but flavor was pretty good. I wonder if you can order the fries well done? It's a little pricey, especially if you add an extra patty, but you are paying for the quality of the meat. read more

Always good food at Grassburger. I had lunch there yesterday with a girlfriend and it was really good. I had the grass burger with guacamole and sweet potato fries. Best sweet potato fries ever, and the grass fed burger is delicious! They practice social distancing amongst the customers and all the employees were wearing masks and gloves using good safety measures. I get take out from there there every couple weeks at work and get the grass burger bowl which is delicious with quinoa, arugula, and guacamole. Cody, I get that you use high quality meat, oils etc. I can think of 4 burger meals that taste better and are cheaper. I asked you to not respond: You did. Again, I'm going to say that $30.00 for a burger lunch, for two, is outrageous. There is nothing that would make me want to come back to Grassburger: Overpriced and not that good. , read more

It's good but all in all it's way over priced for a burger. I just don't personally think paying 11-15 bucks for a burger is worth it.

The food here is darn good. I would eat here everyday if I could! But the portions are small The drinks are not tall. It's expensive and the servers misunderstood. They forgot our kid's chocolate milk. They didn't clean the tables and there is no silk. The prices are as high as a five star review would be, Without the size I would have liked to see. The tab almost made me want to bilk. In all seriousness, the food was delish. So good it made me wish I was rich. Cheers! read more

Love the burgers, combo fries. My Fav is the mushroom cheeze burger. Very tasty. Drinks wished they had more then cane sugar drinks and ice tea. Unless I wasn't paying attention. Service is great.?ambience for a burger place, could be cleaner for tables chairs. Last time I was there they just opened, the table I sat at their crumbs on the seat and table. That should of been the night crews job. read more

My other half recently had to go gluten and dairy free. While we're figuring out what and how to cook at home, we stopped at Grassburger which was recommended by a friend w Celiac. AMAZING. Awesome! Great decor and friendly staff was our first impression. That and the welcoming smell of great quality beef and fresh French fries! They take great pride in quality and being conscious of where they source ingredients. Gotta love that. All natural sodas are delicious and a great change from the standard drink machine. Service was quick even though the place was packed. House made vegan BBQ sauce and Chipotle mayo both excellent. We had both a beef burger and a black bean burger. Both super delicious!! You can tell the quality of ingredients. And the potato bun is such a perfect compliment. The fries are outstanding, both regular and sweet potato. Tons of flavor and no dipping sauce is really needed. If I have any complaints they are minor. You have to pay for dipping sauce for your fries. This seems silly. And the BBQ sauce on the bean burger and the mushrooms on the beef were pretty sparce. Little things that would go a long way when you're spending $12 on a combo meal. Still a solid place especially if you truly care about sourcing of ingredients. read more

This week I'm going to have a guest reviewer to tell some of our restaurant experiences from another point of view- my mom! This is what she had to say about Grassburger: "The menu is pretty extensive, love the sweet potato fries. I got the regular grassburger, with a lettuce bun (no charge). And my husband and daughter the regular grassburger with a bun. Prices are medium range depending on what you get, but probably one of the juiciest, flavorful burgers I've had. Convenient location too. I would probably give this place another try." I agree with the above, but maybe would like to add bacon or green chile to spice it up a little. read more

I really enjoyed my meal at grass burger and definitely recommend it to people looking to try new places in ABQ! When you go into the restaurant, you place your order and receive a number. Good luck making a decision though, because there are a ton of delicious sounding options! You can do 1/4 or 1/2lb patties for beef, turkey, or black bean burgers, and can have it on a potato bun, lettuce wrap, or gluten free bun. For your side have French fries, sweet potato fries or a mix! And they have a ton of other menu options- take the time to check out their whole menu. I got the black bean burger on the potato bun with the chipotle mayo, with fries and the green Chile ranch. The food was really good, but I felt like if they did green Chile mayo instead of chipotle mayo, my burger would have been even better. The fries didn't have any seasoning, but the green Chile ranch helped to give them a punch of flavor. The sides, like the green Chile ranch, are typically $0.75, but if you check in on Yelp you get a free sauce. I ordered a combo so I also got a drink, and Grass Burger only had naturally flavored sodas. I tried the lemon açaí and the black cherry tarragon and felt like both were way too sweet. The black cherry one actually reminded me a bit of cough syrup flavor - so I think I'll stick with water next time. The restaurant felt a bit crowded, but it was really busy for lunch when I was there. There's a mix of high top and booth tables, and there's even a kids play area! Parking was pretty crazy on a Saturday at lunch time, so be prepared to walk a ways from wherever you can find a spot. read more

Grassburger - Black bean burger on a potato bun, fries, and green Chile ranch - Burgers Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Got the black bean burger, two bites in, it was C O L D. No, not because of the toppings, or the bun, it was due to the fact it was a frozen patty deep fried for less than two minutes, and yes, they admitted to that when I brought the burger up to the counter. Was very disappointed in the food but the cashier did apologize, admit to their mistakes and said it was because they had a recent charge of recipe and procedure when cooking, okay. Anyhow she did offer me an oat-milkshake after giving me a full refund, of course I took them up on the offer and sadly, I was disappointed again. Milkshake left a very strange taste in my mouth and when I got to 1/4 left it had a sand-like texture that was for lack of better words DISGUSTING and literally hard as hard can be. Spit out two of their items and will never come back. Only thing good to say was that the cashier was nice and I don't blame her at all for my unsatisfactory experience at Grassburger... or should I say GROSSBURGER. read more

Giving three stars instead of 1 due to amazing service. The servers were all incredibly attentive and nice. They went above and beyond to check on me. I used to really like Grass burger but I'm not sure what happened. The last 4 times I've visited the food wasn't great. The burgers are always incredibly wet and soggy as if the lettuce isn't dried and possibly the meat is frozen. The meat isn't seasoned except for maybe pepper and it lacks flavor, the fries are not seasoned either. The tables are tiny and sticky and the place seems in need of a refresh in a few ways. I hope this feedback helps make this place amazing again as in the past it was really enjoyable and a go to spot for burgers. Overall amazing service, amazing sodas on tap food is sub standard. read more

Burger and sweet potato fries were decent but the establishment needs a serious cleaning; from the greasy entrance floor to the mystery liquid in the dining room and the really stinky hallway that leads to the restroom. Service was okay, however, they got our order wrong; we ask for no onion but all of our burger came with onion. read more

A pretty good tasting burger, fries were okay. Serving sizes are tiny. You'd think for $34 for two people you'd leave a burger joint full. The $3.50 fries were equivalent to a small at Mc Donald's and were just about as good. Really not impressed. Wish I wasn't still hungry. Just go somewhere else, there are quite a few restaurants that source locally and are just as humane for less Update* With the owner responding with disingenuous and defensive comments I couldn't help but update my review. I guess their "awards" make them immune to critique and mistakes. read more

Amazing gluten free buns. Most places make me sick or they only have lettuce wraps. The buns here and grilled with the buttery softness on top. The burgers are fresh and taste so delectable. Much Better! Visited Grass Burger tonight and looks like Grass Burger is on the rise once again. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were tasty and not dripping with oil like our previous visit. Next time, going to ask that they cook the fries a little longer because we like them a little more on the crispy side. All in all, 100 times better than last time! We will be adding Grass Burger back to our list of places we can grab a grass fed burger and fries. Thank you Ed for your hospitality and for caring about your customers. We will be back. read more

I tried Grassburger for lunch the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The burger was delicious. Great tasting meat, cheese, fresh veggies and bun. My niece had the gluten free bun and said it was excellent. We shared combo fries and thought they were good also. They don't have a huge menu but did have a variety of bowls which looked interesting and included quinoa as a base. You do have to go to the counter and order but someone brings out your food. The place was clean and the employees were pleasant. I can't speak to any of their food but the burgers and they were great. They had a good crowd coming in for lunch so it led me to believe their other food is probably also good. Worth giving them a try! read more
