Olivia, Yolanda, and the security gentleman provided some of the best customer service we've experienced. They were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in. Olivia and Yolanda took the time to clearly explain the menu options and answer our questions, making it easy for us to decide what to order. The security gentleman was also kind and welcoming, helping create a positive and comfortable atmosphere. I really wish they had Whataburger in California! I always try to stop and get a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit for breakfast when traveling because they are so dang good! I'm knocking this location down a star because their shake machine was down when I was there and I really wanted to try their Dr. Pepper shake. I feel like service was average for a fast food place as to be expected. They had an armed security guard so that was kind of interesting. Went here with my daughter the other day when we were craving a burger. Service was great, the young lady taking our order was very nice and friendly. Our food came out fast and fresh. I got a double whataburger and an avocado burger. Both were really good and large. The onion rings and fries were fresh but I wasn't a big fan of the chicken. It was dry but it was good soaked in gravy. The restaurant was clean and it was busy so we sat in a booth and our food was brought to us with a smile. When we're in Albuquerque we'll sometimes order food from whataburger to take home for later. Everything and everyone was great on this day. We'll be back soon. Two thumbs up from me! read more

I recently had the chance to revisit Whataburger in Albuquerque, and it did not disappoint. The four of us picked up food to bring back to our hotel, and I have to say, we were all pretty pleased with what we got. I was especially excited because it had been a long time since I'd had anything from Whataburger. I ordered the Green Chili Double Burger, and it was exactly what I was hoping for--packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick. My buddy got the Whataburger Patty Melt and raved about how good it was. The fries and onion rings were decent--nothing mind-blowing, but solid. The real standout, according to my friend, was the Dr Pepper milkshake (or freeze, depending on where you're from). He said it was absolutely fabulous. I didn't go to the restaurant myself, so I can't comment on the cleanliness or the friendliness of the staff, but the food we brought back to the hotel was satisfying enough that we were all happy with it. Stop here on my way through to Texas. Ordered the mushroom burger and added green Chili's . The burger was really good and cooked perfect and hot every flavor I was looking for and would give it a 4.5 out of 5. The fries however were cold, and the the chocolate malt was like chocolate milk and completely melted which made the rest of the meal not so great. Wow! I'm so impressed with the last visit I had at this location! The food was amazing. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with green Chile and it was hand the best both of us have had ANYWHERE. Beats Popeyes and Chic fil a. It was juicy, thick and the spicy crunch into the breading was perfection. We also ordered the honey butter chicken biscuit with green Chile. They out beat two other popular places here in Albuquerque. We get to the drive thru and immediately they ask what we want to order. When we did not respond they stated to order when ready. He ordered large french fries and decided on the large drink. We got to the paying window and asked the young woman to help us with the app. She was so patient and helpful. I almost never get someone who is willing to take the time to help. Especially in a drive thru. We got that figured out and headed to next window. There was a little wait and when we got to this window, I feel the young attendant was even nicer then the first. The food is always good but when you get good customer service it stays with you.
