This place has EXCELLENT burgers! Better than Five Guys & 5 Star burger, no doubt! The wait wasn't long & the customer service is satisfactory. The cashier could have better customer service but overall they really aim to please. We will definitely be back soon! read more

Great food at a great price! Nice atmosphere too! Love the burgers! I enjoyed the restaurant because they have no hormones or antibiotics in their meat and also you do not have to tip. Great for people on a tight budget who want to eat healthy. The staff are very polite and helpful as well. read more

Amazing! Grass burger is one of my top post workout spots. My two standbys are the bacon cheddar burger (double with fried egg, you can't go wrong) and the tacos for sure. Always get the mayo, so worth it. The fountain drinks are some kind special brand that use actual sugar or something and they are great, the lemonade is my favorite by far but the root beer is legit too. Service is always quick and friendly. They have wine too, so take your girlfriend and she'll be happy. Also, almost forgot, get the sweet potato/regular fries mix. read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not that busy. We walked in to order at the counter where the cashier was on the phone. She rudely waved a finger at us even though we had not said a word to her. Finally she took our order, she was not the nicest. They do sell beer and wine, so I ordered some wine. Cashier huffed and said she couldn't ring it up. We had to wait for the cook to ring it up and both employees seemed annoyed. Well then don't sell beer and wine! Then the wine didn't come out once I was seated as promised. I had to ask when our food was delivered and still wait longer before it was slammed down in front of me by the cook. Tables were dirty and sticky. Food was okay. Not bad but not great either. Certainly not enough to make up for bad service. Prices are high for what you get and the poor service. Won't be heading back. read more

I just inhaled a super delicious green chile cheesburger with black bean patty (instead of meat) and a side salad. The veggie burger was excellent, the salad featured a variety of greens (kale, lettuce, sprouts) and now I am a happy camper. The drink cups could be larger and the side salad portion could be a bit bigger. I can't wait to try the veggie tacos and the veggie bowls. I am glad I tried this place out! read more

This is a solid burger joint. My GF and I ambled in one day with a serious hankering for a decent burger. We shoved the green chile cheeseburger in our heads with a complement of mixed sweet potato and regular fries dipped in the chipotle mayo and (compliments of a Yelp check-in) serrano mayo. Good enough that I came back a week later and crammed a 1/2lb-er in right before work! read more

Called for takeout and I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I was impressed by that since I ordered during the lunch time rush. I ordered the 1/2 lb bacon cheddar burger with all the toppings and a side of fries. The burger tasted really fresh. The fries were cut smaller that I like (they were similar to shoe string fries) but also tasted fresh. I would recommend this place. Next time I will dine in and enjoy a burger on the patio. read more

The food is fantastic! We order here at least a few times a months. Highly recommend it.

This place is very delicious! My first time there and absolutely no complaints. I like the location. I had the chedda burger 1/4 pound... hit the spot read more

Best burger place I have ever been to. You can absolutely taste the difference between grass fed beef and not. They also use real cheese and fresh toppings on their burgers. My grandparents used to make fresh burgers from cows on their farm, and this is the closest I have ever been to tasting that wonderful flavor again. My favorite place to eat in all of abq.....oh how can I review without talking about the world's best milkshake! Grassburger serves the best shake in Albuquerque hands down! ALSO: Those who complain about the prices of the burgers obviously aren't very smart (which is funny because those people seem to also insult the intelligence of the staff in their reviews as well. Go to a whole foods store and buy a pound of grass fed ground beef. You're going to pay quite a bit above the normal ground beef price. So what do you think is going to happen when you order a burger with grass fed beef? DUH! The prices are not out of line for serving 1/4 grass fed beef patties. read more

Not a fan! Burgers were too greasy and didn't get any chipotle mayo. Meat tasted good, but the fat content/percentage was really high. My husband loves a good burger, even he said they were too greasy. They are pricey and if you like your burgers on the leaner side, I don't recommend this place. read more

Back on the ground after a trip on the Sandia Tram, we had a few hours until our plane out of ABQ. A. gets on Yelp and finds this place. We hadn't had a burger the whole trip so we agree. First, the place is clean, the service is friendly and helpful, but the food? DELICIOUS! We both got the green chili jack burger; I got regular fries, A. got sweet potato fries. It was all good. The best burgers we've had, at a restaurant, in years. A. said the sweet potato fries were "the best she ever had". While I don't normally do so, I ate all of my fries. The only thing I didn't like was the plain, unsweetened ice tea. Theirs is some fancy something or other that many may like; I'm a Lipton/Luzianne/Red Rose kind of guy. This place will likely become a regular stop on our trips through ABQ. read more

The burger was great. Was surprised at how small the slices of tomato were, but it is about quality not quantity. The black bean patty is worth trying in the Durango burger. read more

great with celiac and dairy allergies! The lettuce wrap burger is solid but what really is memorable is their sweet potato fries with chipotle sauce. read more

Love that they have vegan burgers, unique sodas to try, and delicious sweet potato fries! I'll be back - thanks!

Great burgers! We liked both, the vegan and the regular one. I took one star off because the service was somewhat slow...

Grassburger is definitely one of the new restaurants in town that focuses on the "farm-to-table" concept. The cows that are used to make the burgers are grass fed and humanely treated from the start of their lives till the end(you can watch videos about the ranch on their website), they use locally grown produce, cage free eggs, and have nixed the corn syrup ketchup and mayo. To some people these things might not necessarily be important to them, but to me it screams that this is a restaurant that cares about the animals and sustaining our environment. I'm all about that. It is definitely hard to tell from pictures how big the burgers actually are, but the 1/4lb burger is about the size of a McDonalds regular sized burger, or for those who are nutritionally curious, about the size of a deck of cards(your recommended meat intake). If you're feeling extraordinarily hungry they do have a 1/2lb burger which is a double burger. With prices reaching the upper limit for what I would pay for a burger I can understand why some people might see the prices and be upset that you're getting, what I would consider, a normal sized portion of food for an above average price. Then I remember that these were happy cows, who lived happy lives, put on veggies that came from somewhere super close to my community, topped with real freaking sugar ketchup, sitting next to freshly cooked fries. I am paying for the quality of my food for a quality that leaves me feeling satisfied and not grossly full and soggy with grease. It tastes good and it makes me feel like a better person while I get to eat a cheeseburger. The atmosphere is definitely the laid back and relaxed sorts. It is a place where you can enjoy a cold brew in your shorts while chowing down on a burger. You don't have to impress anyone and no one has to impress you. It is a counter establishment so you get your own drinks, you get your own ketchup, and you become kind a more self-reliant person(they do bring the burger to your table). Otherwise, sit back, enjoy a burger, go home happy. Recipe for success. read more

Tasty and healthy! A little pricey, but not much. Well worth the price. I had the mushroom swiss with lettuce wrap and the combo fries. Combo fries are regular fries and sweet potato fries in one basket. Fries are pretty delicious. The staff are friendly and professional. Dining area was clean as far as I could see. And the bathrooms were clean to. I would definitely come back here again. read more

The reviews of this place were all over the place so I was sort of skeptical about trying Grassburger but decided to give it a shot anyways. First thing I notice when I walk into this place is it totally reminds me of a HopDaddy Burger anyways you walk up order your food and they bring your food out to you. I went with the green chile cheese burger and added bacon and got a side of sweet potatoe fries mixed with there regular hand cut fries. Burger was awesome and cooked perfectly. Bun was buttery and soft. Fries were cooked and seasoned perfect. Only complaint was the burger was a tad bit small. They also offer craft soft drinks and local beer which is a plus. Overall Grassburger is awesome and worth checking out. read more

Eating in has been great and the food is good, but they can't get a to go order correct. Ordered 2 burgers with a side of fries for each on doordash and never got the fries (a key part of a burger) but the receipt reflected us ordering fries. Very disappointed. The only options were (1) free burger and drink at a later time (2) refund for credit on doordash (3) or wait another 30 mins for the fries to be delivered. Took option 2, but would have been nice if the restaurant verified their receipt before delivering. read more

This place is overpriced. Beside grass-fed meat, there's nothing special about their burgers that would make me want to come back. Their green chile stew is kinda weird when they serve it over baked potatoes- too much potatoes for me.. I don't remember seeing their kids menu. We ordered grill cheese, which is overpriced and a hot dog for my sons. They serve hotdog between burger buns !! :-\ It took them a long time to bring the food out, yet they forgot our green chile stew. I like the idea of eating healthy foods, but don't think we are coming back read more

We tried Grassburger for the first time last night. It's a very casual place where you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. This works okay. I was a bit disappointed that the only non meat burger was a black bean burger. I was hoping they would have offered the Impossible Burger and a couple of other non meat choices. So, I had the black bean burger, I'll get to that in a minute. I was also disappointed that they don't sell non alcoholic beers. NM has a serious drinking and driving problem and it's about time that restaurants wake up and start promoting non alcoholic beers and wines. So, I had water. Back to the burger. It was just, okay. It was subtly spicy and edible. I don't think I'll be going back there until they offer more non meat choices and non alcoholic beers and wine. read more

This is probably the most overpriced burger in ABQ. And for the quality the price is completely unwarranted. I don't understand why this place has the amount of stars it has or why it's still open. The burgers are dry and small. The fries were over done and not salted properly. I will say the chipotle mayo is good. I've had grass fed burgers at this price range that were far superior than to what this establishment is offering. And for the price I expect a bit more. There are much better places in town to get a burger. We got my daughter a turkey dog and it was $7 bucks. Which is a bit pricey but ok. When they brought it out it was this small burnt hotdog on a hamburger bun. For that price I was expecting much more. The service was fine...nothing special. read more

You had me at burger! Nom nom nom! My girlfriends and I decided to join the Yelp community and check this little gem out. We are all westside-ers!! So it was a bit of a trek, but would gladly do the drive again. They all loved their meals: green chile burgers, melts with bacon, fries, root beer floats, and tacos. My hubby was meeting us from work so I ordered a green chile and pepper jack burger and a Marble White beer for him and I got the tacos. My tacos were good, but why didn't I order the burger for myself too?!?! It was delish!!! I guess they forgot the Serrano sauce on my dish, the owner brought some over later, so that could have been a bigger plus. He explained that the tacos were only on the menu so they could get a liquor license and the same story for the sides. However, when we go back the green chile, jack cheese burger and sweet potato fries are what I'm ordering! Ohhhh! And a shake!! I was so jelly, I almost stole my friends when she went to order to-go food for her hubby. Did I mention they have cane sugar sodas?! Sign me up for one of those too! I guess we'll be there on the weekend, CHEAT DAY!! Does "Grassburger" mean they are heathy?! I don't care, I'll eat there anyway! Props to Howie for setting that up and as always expanding our experience!! read more

Had a chedda burger, sweet potato fries and a chocolate shake. All three were fantastic! I love how fresh the burgers taste at Grassburger and can't wait to eat there again. The customer service is also great and the employees were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this restaurant to all people, especially families! read more

These burgers are really good. They are grass fed and juicy and full of flavor. The fries are great too.

Finally, you can order a burger and feel virtuous at the same time! I love that the menu is simple, yet offers plenty of options to suit your diet preferences. I ordered a single patty burger in a lettuce wrap, sweet potato fries, and a dairy-free vanilla shake made with rice milk. The shake was surprisingly creamy and delicious! The patty was a little on the small side, but you could always doulbe up. I was definitely really full after the fries and shake. The soda machine is stocked with sodas made from cane sugar in both regular and diet varieites. I will definitely be going back! read more

Awesome! Stopped in yesterday for a late lunch with the family. Friendly and fast service. Great food - best burgers and fries. Refueled us for the long journey back home to the Midwest. Wish we had a Grassburger in Minneapolis..... read more

This place is way out of our neighborhood but I've been hearing good things about it. We were in the vicinity and final got to try it. We both had the mushroom burger .5 pound .. I added grilled onions and Swiss cheese . I think grilled onions are a must so I didn't mind the extra $1 as a n add on. I thought it interesting that the cheese was melted on the onions and mushrooms underneath the patty .. it didn't affect the taste which was delicious, moist and juicy . The bun was very good also and looked bakery fresh ... I'm a garnish guy and my sliced tomato was underwhelming .. it could of had a stronger presence but oh well I still totally enjoyed my meal . Our average was about $15 a person with no drinks and one fry , my wife had the 4 oz I had the 8 oz patty . It was worth the price in my opinion . Let me be clear on this point .. I am not a fan of having the counter people doesn't matter where I eat swing the POS around asking for a tip especially before anything happens .im assuming those staff member are not a tipped employee so adding money onto there hourly is a bit intimidating and makes most customers feel obligated .. it's a practice that needs to stop all over Im giving a 4 star not a 5 for this reason ... ill be back to enjoy these outstanding burgers ... great job people !!! read more

Was told to try this place out by a friend who claimed it was better than 5 star burger. Well I finally got to it and tried it out. Place is clean and friendly so no issues there. The prices for what you get was what dropped it to a 3 star burger joint for me. Burger was tasty but nothing too amazing for over $10 and the fries were good too but not $6 worth. I understand the appeal and appreciate the service and freshness of it all but I would be surprised to see this place have regulars willing to spend $20 a person to have a burger with fries and a drink. Maybe I'm wrong. So basically what I'm saying is I like the place and would let someone else pay for my meal there anytime. I just wouldn't wanna spend that kinda money on a burger again unless its from 5 star or the like. U guys know what I mean. read more

Great good! Was totally impressed with the quality of food. It was very delicious. Happy they offer gluten-free items!

Meh. Could have been worse, but wasn't the best food I've eating. I ordered the "vegan" tacos, but had to have them remove the cheese that they came with... It was a little frustrating and off putting that they had items with VEGAN in the name that were obviously not vegan. The cheese very well may have been vegan, but when we asked the lady at the counter she didn't really know if it was or wasn't so I wasn't going to risk it. It would be nice if their staff actually knew what they served. read more

Happy to have alternatives for a good hamburger and fries. Knowing the beef is not industrial chemical polluted and fries aren't in gmo unhealthy oil....and the ketchup isn't high fructose is enough for us to come back. And btw...it tasted great! read more

Been here twice now and both times have had a great experience if allowed would push to 4.5 stars. First of all my wife has to eat gluten free and for her to be able to order a burger & fries it's a treat, she can do that here. When you order a GF bun, they ask if it is due to celiac allowing them to take extra precautions with the order to minimize cross contamination. Service was excellent both visits, professional and the folks seemed genuine and not just following a script. This last visit they came by our table and offered a sample of one their milkshakes (yum). Had burgers and the mixed fries of regular & sweet potato both visits. The burgers have been great, juicy and cooked perfect, the fries are tasty They do have a small selection of beer/wine (bottles/cans only). As others have mentioned they have Boylan's fountain sodas, no coke, no pepsi, a nice touch. This is not a cheap burger place, it does cost a little bit more, but you are paying for quality ingredients, I'm totally ok with that, throw in the gluten free aspect as well and we will making regular visits. read more

First ate at Grassburger in Durango 2 years ago. We were so excited to here we'd get one in Burgue. This is the BEST black bean burger I have ever eaten. BEST vegetarian burger I've ever had and I've tried them all! Of course their fries and salad are good too, but go for the burger!!! read more

Great food and nice people. We feel good supporting a business that is trying to do things right!

I really like their burgers, but the service is questionable. I placed an online order today at 12:19 and the app said it would be ready at 1 o'clock (why so long?). I got there at 12:45 and asked if it might be ready early. They said no, but it will be just a few minutes. So I waited and waited and finally went back up to the counter at 10 after one and the young woman at the counter found it in a bag that had been sitting by the grill for probably 15 minutes. She reached in the bag and said, "Well, it's still warm." Of course I had to nuke it when I got home. This is just sloppy service. Now I'm questioning whether or not to go back. read more
