    Tuscan potato soup
    Lisa M.

My mom and I stopped by and decided to give Granny's a try. It was a cute restaurant for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries. It also came with a soup and I went with the Tuscan potato soup. The soup was quite tasty and flavorful. It was definitely homemade. I would get it again. The sandwich was pretty good and fries were crinkle cut. Overall, I was satisfied with my lunch. My mom ordered breakfast and went with the pancakes, bacon, eggs and sausage. The portion size was good and the food satisfied my mom's taste buds. Overall, this is a nice breakfast, brunch or lunch spot. Check it out!

What a great way to start my Chicago trip trying a local staple! This place was so homey and had great local diner vibes! The staff were friendly and the food and service was excellent! It's located in strip center plaza so there's plenty of parking! We ordered the spicy flamingo, the country biscuit, and Harriet's Garden! Everything was fantastic! Flavorful and presentation was on point! The cheese was melty and gooey and there were fresh avocados and crispy potatoes! If you're in the area, definitely a must try! Family owned and operated and loved the experience !

was surprised that something was open on new year's day so decided to grab some brunch. got seated right away and helped probably 5 minutes after. got water and sprite for drinks. the sprite tasted like your good sprite. for food we got the french toast combo, pancakes, bacon and extra crispy hasbrown. the combo 6/20, the french toast was okay nothing crazy, needed the syrup. the bacon i was not a fan of. the sausages were super good and the eggs were bland and not it. pancakes 7/10 typical pancakes nothing crazy but not the best hasbrown 8/10 could of used more browning on the bottom but overall really good with a hint of salt bacon 6/10 i was not a fan but my partner enjoyed the bacon so to each their own. you pay at the end up front and the pricing is good for the quality of food.

Granny's is home away from home! Excellent service and attention to details. Very friendly staff. Every time I come I feel welcomed. The food is delicious. My favorite is the spicy flamingo. The coffee is always on point and I never have to ask for refills- they keep it coming. The ambience is chill. My favorite place!

The first thing you'll notice is how brightly lit and lightly colored the booths are, a huge contrast to the other diners. We were seated right away and had our drink order taken within 3 minutes, it was great service. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich, which came with their homemade sauce, it was a fantastic because it had a coleslaw feel to it. I would go back there in a heartbeat and give their breakfast a try.

The prices are okay for a local place. Basic looking with a counter to order at. It's certainly a popular place judging by crowds. The coffee is the main thing. A lot of cold and hot choices. Frozen things also like milkshakes. Lots of flavors of these. It's $4.75 to get a Latte. Refreshing. Has a few non dairy milk choices including coconut. It's about $10 for Avocado Toast. Basic looking but can add an egg. This already costs too much so piss off. As for the rest of the menu it's meaty especially with bacon. They also have chicken and fish options. For sure it's a great place for light meals. It's open at breakfast and lunch and there's a pretty great variety. This is located on Irving Park at Walnut.

Over the past two years, I'd stop in while out on walks and kept trying different drinks, but I never really found one I loved. That completely changed when I tried their homemade banana bread syrup. It was phenomenal--so much better than the typical flavored syrups and actually tasted natural and delicious. It's definitely made me want to give their specialty drinks another chance! Their food has always been a highlight. The sandwiches are consistently good and feel like a reliable choice whenever I stop in. The ice cream shakes, on the other hand, taste a little too artificial for my preference. Overall, I'm glad I gave Fulla Beans another try. The banana bread latte was a standout, and I'll definitely be back for it!

The restaurant bar is in the bottom floor of the center and has a walk out basement feel to it. The dining room is large and open, line with TVs playing various sport programs. I ordered carry-out dinner of the Turkey Club Sandwich, which comes with a side (I chose Caesar salad) and I also got the Truffle Fries, which are to die for. The Turkey Club was large in delicious chewy Italian toast with a tomato aioli sauce. The sandwich had plenty of turkey, crispy bacon, perfectly ripe avocado and lettuce and tomato. It was delicious. The generous portion of Caesar salad was very good as well. The Truffle fries are delicious. They are covered with garlic and parmesan and severed with an aioli dipping sauce. The portion is large and easily shared among several people. The service is fairly fast. About 10 minutes. There is plenty of free parking and the complex is quiet and remote. I'll definitely return.

The outdoor patio overlooking the golf course is absolutely beautiful--relaxing, scenic, and the kind of place that makes you feel like you're on vacation. Even on a busy Thursday evening, the atmosphere was lively without ever feeling hectic. Our server, Jordyn, was outstanding. She looked young, but don't let that fool you--she was completely on top of everything. We were a party of six that couldn't decide what we wanted, laughed way too loudly, and probably tested her patience more than once. She handled us with grace, humor, and a smile the entire time. Somewhere along the way we started calling her "Wednesday" from The Addams Family, and she rolled with it perfectly. Great sense of humor and fantastic service. The food was excellent. The Crispy Eggplant Salad was absolutely phenomenal--fresh, flavorful, and easily large enough to share between two people. The burger was cooked perfectly, the cocktails were outstanding, and everything arrived promptly. The bar staff also deserve a shout-out. They were welcoming from the moment we arrived, made great eye contact, acknowledged everyone immediately, and had drinks in our hands in no time. That's the kind of hospitality that makes people want to come back. Fox & Turtle has the rare combination of great food, attentive service, excellent drinks, and a beautiful setting. It's the kind of place you expect to find inside an exclusive club, yet thankfully it's open for everyone to enjoy. We'll definitely be back.
