Dr. Wilson's last day was June 6, 2016. I made a choice to leave May 15, 2016. The insurance I had for over 20 years was Anthem Blue Cross. At my age you get use to regular patterns, I decided to follow Dr. Wilson. I had switch my insurance from Anthem Blue Cross to Alameda Alliance in order to make the switch I called Alameda Alliance to point me in the direction on how to go about doing that. I spoke to a very nice customer service representative named Alisa, she has the most calming voice, out of my 50+ years of living I have never heard such a pleasant voice, very distinctive and memorable. I was given the number to Sacramento to call to have my medi-cal switched over to Alameda Alliance. She told me once I get the letter from Sacramento stating the switch was made for me to call her to further explain the next move. It took less than 2 weeks for me to get the letter from Sacramento. I did call Alameda Alliance customer service number, to my luck I got Alisa again, I was happy about that, but most of all I was happy she remembered me. As we spoke she checked on her end to see the switch was made, she then told me she would send me cards without a Primary Care until I get the pamphlet or look around on my own. I did call my. It took only 1 week to 10 days to get my insurance card, with effective date June 2016. From May 15, 2016 to the second week in June. Alameda Alliance made the smoothest transition for me. Today is June 18, 2016 my second Alameda Alliance card came with the Primary Care being Webster Medical Clinic. As Alisa explained to me in order to see a specialist I need to find and make an appointment with a primary care doctor that can refer me to Dr. Anthony Jones, or Dr. Lisha Wilson. Every thing worked out in a short period of time, thanks to Alisa and Patty two customer service representatives that helped me. At my age, change can be a challenge, after spending to decades with the same insurance, I thought it would be hard, the comfort is knowing their are people like Alisa and Patty out there to help. I was amazed at the level of concern and care they both showed me, but most of all I thank Alisa, I can still here her calming voice in my head the most beautiful voice ever. I wanted to share my experience as someone who is almost approaching senior citizen status, at my age their are very few things that catch you by surprise, the level of professionalism and attentiveness, I received at Alameda Alliance for Health Insurance can only be described as " FIVE STARS"

The lady I talked to on the phone today was already giving shit vibes (laughing when talking to me, being condescending in general) and said that all that had been reported in terms of my calls for updates is that I apparently complain about not getting call backs? No mention about how I call for updates on my reimbursement for the almost $600 and how they promise to call back and never do. It's so frustrating because it's been almost a year of fighting with these people for my money that was meant for SCHOOL. I need that money still for SCHOOL. The Alliance sucks and that's apparent through the other reviews. I'm tired of having to call all the time just to get treated like this.

We thought she needed a break since she's his caretaker 24/7 so I started reaching out to local in home care provider. Premier Homecare Angels representative, Tedd, was very responsive, called me right away that same evening regarding my needs and explained everything I needed to know. They put me at ease and assured me just by sharing their knowledge of the whole process and empathy towards the whole situation. They made it simple! Next step was for someone to come into my aunts home to assess and ensure they needs I had described to them that we were looking for was accurate and to find a caregiver match with both my uncle and aunt. They were so flexible and when I scheduled the visit Tedd came out himself to assess on a Saturday, a few days after my initial call. That's great as we were looking to start the in home care services asap! Wow we were so impressed by his attentiveness, candor and putting my aunt and uncle as ease when we met. Long story short, we decided to move forward with Premier Homecare Angels. Tedd found a match for us with our care needs and schedule and sent someone out the following week! Great service, communication and flexible/willing to work with the client! Great all around! Unfortunately, my aunt/uncle are relocating to Arizona soon so this is a short term assignment but I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again if I ever need any in home care services!

Their flexibility, capability, and compassion are unparalleled. We went through so many logistical twists and turns during our crisis, and they rolled with every single one -- continually adjusting and problem solving to make sure that we were getting the in-home care we needed to have the breathing room we needed to make some challenging decisions. The caregivers were thoughtful, considerate, and incredibly skilled. Tedd is responsive and compassionate -- he cared for our family as if it was his own. We can't thank this wonderful team enough. If you need in-home care for a family member, you can do no better than Premier Homecare Angels.

Several times nurses show up when they feel like it not weekly or at a scheduled time. They act like they are trying but simply can't get it together. communication or scheduling is a shit show, not sure exactly what the issue is. Seems like a bunch of people who simply aren't qualified to do their jobs. I would of had less grief and head aches if they weren't in the picture. Using pathways will result in your dying family member not getting the care they deserve. Please go elsewhere! I was reccomend by the VA. I will be calling them also to communicate my dissapointment because it makes me sick to know that people who have done so much for our country in the last fase of life are getting the bottom of the barrel treatment.
