I'm not sure why only 3 stars? This restaurant was clean inside and outside. The day my wife and I visited was on a Sunday and it was packed. The bathroom was well kept and clean the servers were friendly and the food was great. This is a home cooked meal buffet with all the items you would expect at your Granny's table. This was a very nice find and we will be returning.

This is a must visit if in Cherokee! Amazing breakfast! Grits, French Toast Sticks, Apples, Bacon, Sausage Gravy.... Yum! And I am picky! Everyone was friendly and efficient! Love the atmosphere of this long time staple of the community. I ate all the food before pics! It was pretty too!

Let's start with ordering is super easy . I included a picture of the menu taken 7/24. Pricing is not bad at all in today's economy. The place itself has a lot of seating so we didn't wait long at all and the parking lot look pretty full. The place was a bit noisy but not so noisy that it was a distraction. The surprising thing was there was one and only one buffet carousel. Both sides were available to get your food. This was for lunch on a Saturday. The food was good old southern comfort food. We found the food lacking a bit of salt. Like most buffets, surely there is something you will find that you really like. . Mine was the baked apples. There was one soup - chicken noodle. The soup was next to the plates. The salads included pasta salad, coleslaw, potato salad and mixed greens. Then a good amount of toppings for your mixed greens. The made up almost 1/2 of the buffet bar. A quarter of the bar was devoted to side dishes. Green beans, Mac and cheese, cabbage, black eyed beans. Then the last quarter was the main entrees and spiced apples. 2 Main meals - fried chicken and pot roast which could be put over rice. One and only one dessert- chocolate pudding with whipped cream and cookie crumbles. You paid as you left with the cashier not at the table and there was a 3% credit/debit transaction fee. If I was in the mood, I would return! It's a good value and fast service.

Good food and friendly service! I especially liked the salad bar and boiled red potatoes!

Such a cute little place! And all the proceeds the day we went were going to families from Hurricane Helene so that was such a worthy cause! Service was super friendly and the restaurant had a big layout even though it looked smaller from outside! It was a small buffet but enough for even your picky eaters! We went for breakfast and came kind of close to lunch so definitely recommend getting there with enough room to spare for refills on the buffet!

This place has food you would get at Sunday dinner at grandmas house. Definitely will not disappoint.

Very average food and limited selection. Most food tastes like it was dumped straight from the can.

Outside guests are supposedly limited during the holiday weekends but we just drove up and strolled to the restaurant! $30 buffet was extensive ranging from made to order eggs, waffles, smoked salmon to guacamole! Thoroughly enjoyed lots of the goodies plus the vistas were beautiful despite a wintery day. Valet is a flat rate during this time so be prepared for a $40 valet or maybe take Lyft here depending on where you are staying. Santa and Mrs. Claus were in the lobby and hotel employees are there to use your phone to snap a Pic too. Extremely busy, queues to wander through the impressive gingerbread creations, wow! Too cold to sit on the sunset terrace so glad we opted for breakfast. Lunch/brunch buffet jumps to $55 with reservations supposedly required. Dining staff service, Jonathan, offered some of the best service that we have experienced in quite some time. Buffet chef juggling 4 made to order omelets created delicious dishes. Oh, the guacamole was remarkably memorable too . Worth the splurge !

The buffet was around $60 for all-you-can-eat crab legs, which sounded promising. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, the crab legs were cold when we first got them. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. We did manage to get a fresher batch later, which was better, but still not great. The promotional video online clearly had some Hollywood magic--what we experienced was far from what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was a letdown. Much of the food wasn't fresh, most dishes were bland, and a few were downright inedible. The crab cakes looked like sausage patties and were just as tough. The fried oysters were slimy and mushy--not the kind of texture you expect, even for oysters. I love fried oysters, but these were a hard pass. The crab-stuffed flounder was bland, though the stuffing tasted more like what a crab cake should taste like. The frog legs were surprisingly decent and did taste like chicken. Mussels and clams were a disappointment. Green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Stouffer's. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but the raw oysters were a disaster--visually unappealing and smelled off. And yes, September is an "R" month, so they should've been fine. We asked for fresher ones, and what we got still didn't pass the sniff test. I love raw oysters, but I wasn't about to risk it. Vegetable options were limited: mushrooms (which were good), canned green beans, corn on the cob, and fried okra. Service from our waitress, was hit-or-miss and didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was awkward--no music, just the hum of kitchen staff talking. It felt more like a quiet cafeteria than a lively restaurant. While that made it easy to chat with our party, it also made the overall vibe feel stale. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. But for the price, it wasn't worth it--and we won't be returning.
