Got home the burgers did not have the correct condiments on them why ask what you want on your burger if you are going to just put a half a head of lettuce and tomato slices took one bite of the burger and it had a terrible taste to it almost like it was not beef ate some of the cold fries but very disappointed paid 65.00 just to throw food away. read more

This is definitely a sports bar scene as we happened to go the night of a Bruins playoff game. They had a beer rep walking around with samples and by the time we were done I could have pitched his product as well....... Food portions were MASSIVE and very good. The Cajun chicken was even too spicy for my girlfriend but otherwise she very much liked the dish. I had a chicken, bacon and ranch calzone and had half of it to take home. Had to carry the food to the front counter with people ordering and picking up just to get boxes. We also had a cheese pizza that was a bit thin and greasy but had potential. Decided to eat at Granfanallys today. Very unimpressed with the food. The salad was good. Comes with packet of Ken's dressing. And you can't really ruin the beer. So those were fine. Ordered the "Jumbo" Chicken Wings for $10.95, which weren't so jumbo, but normal size. The batter is tastless, so apparently no seasoning. We did get 2 different sauces to dip the wings in: Garlic Teriyaki (couldn't taste the garlic) and Singapore (which should be spicy, but really wasn't). Both uninspired. I keep looking for some good beer-battered onion rings, and was assured this is what I'd get. The batter was awful... pretty sure these are pre-made/frozen. And they looked rather burnt, as though cooked in OLD oil. Ate a couple, and threw out almost the entire plate ($6.99 down the drain). Thought about trying the pizza, but it looked rather "blah"... lacking sauce, with a sheet of unappealing cheese on top. Tried to see what people were getting and how it looked. The fries looked AWFUL. Like the onion rings, they were very, very dark and limp, as if cooked in OLD oil. Not appealing. The atmosphere made things worse. It was very LOUD inside between the TVs, yapping kids, and crying babies, amplified by the acoustics of the building. We were relieved to leave, get outside, and leave the ruckus behind. read more

First and foremost, THE BEST TURKEY CLUB SANDWICH....... EVER!!!! Seriously, you'd think a basic sandwich like this is pretty standard, with little room to either improve or mess up. Then..... there's Granfanlly's...... who comes in and completely redefines everything..... and I'm NOT telling you what it is. You simply have to try it. The menu does little to capture just how amazing it is. Oh and for you nay-sayers who think they know everything? This is coming from a BLACK LEVEL ELITE YELPER, who travels the world weekly. I KNOW what I'm talking about. (of course, if you hate turkey, are vegan, or if your family tree doesn't fork.... this doesn't apply to you). Great gastropub, with very friendly bartenders, and a couple of absolute babes for waitresses. Good food, decent beer on tap, and a clean ambiance. My three buddies and I come here regularly to play liar's poker at the bar, and ridiculously order the same sandwich all the time.... and we couldn't be more different from each other..... (except maybe my arms and chest are bigger.... because fitness), so that should pound home how good that sandwich is. Just didn't do it for me. Maybe because we don't eat pizza? I dunno. Our one salad, two kids meals and order of wings took 55 minutes from ordering to making it to the table. Wasn't even busy. We think we were forgotten about but can't prove that obviously. Salad was boring but the wings and kids tenders were good. Prices on kids meals didn't match the menu but we didn't feel like dealing with the line. It was also not cool enough in there. Saving grace was a solid craft beer selection. Worst buffalo chicken calzone I've ever had. Giant puff LOADED with ricotta cheese and very little chicken which was actually in the consistency of chicken salad. Falling apart with ease due to the overload of ricotta stuffed inside. Definitely not anything like any other buffalo chicken calzone I've had. After managing to cut myself out one slice I threw the rest away about three quarters into the slice and just tossed the whole calzone. Never again read more

A Salad? and then I noticed a glorious sign that indicated their signature burgers are made from Tuckaway Tavern beef. Whaaaatttt!?... For those who aren't familiar with Tuckaway Tavern, it's found at a juncture where unicorns and leprechauns meet under a magic rainbow and they eat together in harmony. It combines homestyle portions of food and gormet quality meats with straight from their in house upscale butchery to create dishes like their pulled pork mac & cheese, which can feed a small family. If you like great food in gigantic home style portions -get familiar and do it fast! I mean, like yesterday! It's that good, but I digress. So I decided on the Granfanally's Redneck burger primarily because it's a burger gently rested upon a bed of spicy pulled pork and that's awesome! Although, it has been done before, it was so good, I don't know where to start, but here goes: The burger came out in flawless, perfect presentation. Perfectly put together, huge yet edible by hand and garnished with fries that were perfectly done and not at all greasy. The all-beef signature Patty straight from Tuckaway Tavern's butchery was uniquely square in original 50's diner-style party topped with melted cheese, lettuce & tomato resting on a spicy pulled pork pillow-top mattress and on an incredibly fresh & lightly toast bun. But the burger people! It was out of this world. If you crave a hefty burger that is uniquely different, spicy like a 4 alarm burger and doesn't disappoint, this one's for you. Granfanallys is a pizza, burger sports bar with TVs to watch the game. Orders are placed at the bar and you seat yourself, food is delivered to your table. I've eaten in as well as called for take out. While the food is good, service can be slow. I met the owner and he was very nice. read more

Tonight we had the Texas Smoked BBQ burger and wings w/southwest sauce...OMG! Amazing! The burger had just enough BBQ sauce on it to complement it. I tried this place recently since I like to see how the local pizza places are. I noticed this place on Instagram and decided to check it out. I ordered fries and the garlic knot pizza since it looked to die for in pictures. It was just alright. The crust was decent but it does get kind of hard. The pizza was absolutely tasteless. We walked in this evening to pick up our takeout order and it was as if we weren't still battling a global pandemic that just killed 500,000+ people in the US. Granfanally's is rather minimally decorated, with tables and chairs that look like the standard from a restaurant supply catalog. It has a rather large bar with seating for about eighteen. Between the tables on the patio and inside there looks to be enough room for maybe twenty groups of four. I had the traditional pizza; Sicillian pizza and burgers, pasta and sandwiches are available but I can't speak to those. The New York style pizza has delightfully thin crust, very chewy with a bit of crispness on the edge. The toppings were flavorful and slightly more plentiful than normal. The star of the pizza, though, was the sauce. It was spicy and distinctive, suffering from none of the sweetness most pizza places insist on putting in their sauce. It may be the best sauce I've had on a pizza in the last few years. I'm definitely coming back, even though it will take a special trip. read more

A while back, I had this problem. I had ordered a couple of burgers to go using their online ordering system. The system said it would take about an hour for our food to be ready for pickup. When we showed up an hour later and picked up our food, the food was stone cold. Fries were hard. Extremely disappointing. What likely happened was the online ordering system said it would take way longer than it did, and our food sat out for almost an hour before we got it. The next day I gave them a call and spoke with someone in management (or owner). He promptly made it right. Perfect customer service. Also their garlic knot pizza is amazing. read more
