Drake Maye inspired Super Bowl drink
    Christina S.

Went on a Sunday for brunch solo and easily sat at the bar! They had a patriots inspired drink for the superbowl and I thought it was really good! It had curaçao, rum and pineapple juice! Their corn beef hash isn't traditional but was still salty and flavorful and I really enjoyed the Monte madame! It had super small cubes of ham and the cheese sauce with the bread was so yummy! I do wish it was a little bigger but still really good!

Pretty good food here. Service was great and attentive. Parking lot can get packed. We came here for lunch so it wasn't busy. The drinks for the flights are premade so it's not freshly done but overall it wasn't bad. I just think it's pricy we asked for just extra sriracha sauce and that was an extra charge. The portion size wasn't bad. I just think it's a little too pricy for a chain restaurant.

Service! 3 of us sat at the bar for breakfast last week. There were only 2 other people there but the waitress spent a lot of time chatting with other staff instead of working. We ordered and one order came out wrong. The bar waitress looked at her slip and said "oops my bad". They were pretty quick to replace it with the correct order. Food quality. Scant potatoes, barely any fruit (which was a substitute for home fries and an upcharge), breakfast sandwich was not hot. Btw, $17 for a simple bacon egg cheese sandwich. When we paid there was a $3 upcharge for some jelly that we never received. Again, waitress looked at her notes and said "my bad". Yup. Your bad. We've established that. Came to $70 for 3 not-fancy breakfasts, 2 coffees, no alcohol. The menu has also been reduced with many favorites removed and they won't make them.(yes-I asked) Wont be back unfortunately.

    Breakfast

I had breakfast with my 5 year old nephew here today and we had the best sever I have had in such a long time, Reggie. Thank you for being amazing!! She was so friendly and silly with him and we had a wonderful time because of her! Thank you!!

    Friendly Toast Maple Syrup

We were first-timers today and LOVED everything -- service, food, atmosphere, prices! Our server, Liz, had great suggestions and made our experience wonderful. Try the habanero strawberry jelly! I had a hard time choosing what to order, so I got the breakfast burrito and also a pancake! The portions were generous. My spouse got eggs that were perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was good! Plus, Who doesn't enjoy a mini syrup bottle that is custom prepared for the restaurant? see you next time!

Tiny portions of poorly cooked food with indifferent service and high prices. Need I say more? Avoid at all costs.

The staff are very hospitable and the venue has a unique appeal. Some items on the menu can be tasty but they do not wow.

It looks like there was a lot of people grabbing food to go as well. If you like breakfast, you need to come here!

Listen, I'm not saying this place is difficult to find. But if it weren't for the big sign just…read morebeyond the actual building itself, I'd have blinked once and missed it completely. Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. Till then, Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee in Salem gets 4 cracked eggs with bacon and beautifully seasoned hashbrowns out of 5.

A couple of us had the banana nut French toast, two had the chocolate chip pancakes, and one had the Baja Grill. All the food was fantastic! Just really fresh and very tasty. We visited Ellie's for breakfast recently after a recommendation. Sad to report it was not good…read more We were immediately served some apple slices dusted in cinnamon sugar. Nice unexpected start. My wife and I both ordered Eggs Benedicts, my wife with ham, mine with their own corned beef hash. This is where things took a downward swing. First, both dishes came out without Hollandaise sauce. We pointed this out to our server who apologized and immediately took both back. When they came back out the Holladaise looked broken. We decided to accept them as opposed to sending them back again, and the taste was off, with a slight sour hint. I mentioned this to the owner/chef who checked on us and he was surprised and told us he would check the sauce. We never saw or heard from him again. The corned beef hash was shredded corned beef mixed with hash brown potatoes, with the potatoes dominating. It lacked flavor. One of my eggs was over cooked, with a hard yolk. The accompanying homefries were nice, maybe the highlight of the meal. On the plus side, our server, who told us up front she was new, was very good. We may give it another try as maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen.
