It's been a lot of years since I was here but the menu has not changed much. I got the 3 piece tenders with collards and black eyed peas. All of it was hot and delicious. The young lady in charge of the dining room was so pleasant and had a kind word and a smile for everyone. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was country with great plaques on the wall. Glad I stopped for old times sake.

I was hoping to be able to give them a 5 star review now thar they're in their new digs - but I've gotta stick with a 4 star. Customer service was stellar as always - but I was greatly underwhelmed by the chicken fried chicken (gravy on the side). I picked it up for my friend's mother and it looked like a chicken breast fillet from the grocery freezer section. It was that same filet they started using for their chicken sandwich. No sign of the crispy, craggy signature Grandy's hand breading. I was excited to see the new snack box offering - 1 piece of chicken or 1 order of nuggets with 1 side and a yeast roll. I ordered nuggets - omit the roll. My snack box was odd. They gave me lots of teeny tiny broken off ends so the batter-to-potato ratio wasn't there. Some of the nuggets were also just tiny fragments of fried batter. If you're getting the snack box, stick with individual chicken piece and coleslaw, peas or beans. I can't comment on cleanliness of interior because I visited the drive thru. There were about 17 cars ahead of me (they have a double drive thru), but the crew was very efficient and the wait time was minimal. I will definitely be back - but I will stick to my 10 piece nugget w/ fries meal.

Unsure of when they did their updates to the building, because it's been so long since I've been here. However the restaurant looks amazing!! Gone are the old green lamps! The new look is crisp and very beachy! The employees are all so friendly and helpful! I drive over 200 miles just to come here. This is a favorite childhood food memory so please keep up the good work! As always, you made the 3+hr trip worth it.

Can't go down 95 and not stop and get some of the best fried chicken around. We've been stopping here for over 15 years and somehow never left a review. From the chicken to the sides you can't go wrong with anything you choose on this menu. Make sure to also end your meal with a warm cinnamon roll for dessert! The employees are also always very kind and bring the food to your table when it's not too busy.

On the right Catfish dinner with greens and pinto beans, on the top country fried steak with greens and mashed potato!

Grandy's is a great place to eat in Brunswick GA I had the catfish dinner with a Diet Coke my wife had the country fried steak with the sweet tea and everything was awesome! We also had there famous cinnamon rolls I didn't get a pic of that it didn't last very long a must have. If you're in Brunswick GA give them a try!

deluxe breakfast biscuit w/ a side of hash browns hands down best around town. My kid had the pancakes, I wasn't a fan of they tasted stale. Service was slow, looked like they were prioritizing the drive through orders. Only when the line got long did someone stop what they were doing to take care of the us. No hold on, we'll be right with you, just blank stares in the lines direction. Probably would go back, just not if I'm limited for time.

I may or may not have finished mine. lol We booked through Resy--highly recommend. My husband had the chorizo burrito (good, but didn't love the fried chicken gravy), and I had the farmhouse skillet--tasty, but the chimichurri was a bit too limey for me. Friendly and interactive. * Cocktails were good. I think I sampled everyone's, and most were really good. *Place had a cool vibe What could of been better: *This almost ruined the visit. Walk in and the hostess, young lady looked at us and mumbled. We explained how many people we had 5 with one more joining us. Just stared at us and looked confused. Said we could sit at the bar. The place was mostly empty. Asked again about seating and she seemed lost. A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost. We were debating whether we should even stay. Overall we enjoyed the visit once we got past the door. Will give them another chance

This…read moreyear we're in town closer to New Year's and thankfully, we were able to try Maggie Mae's in downtown Brunswick. This definitely appears to be a popular place with locals because most people are greeted by name as they enter the restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. It was loaded with ham and there was possibly a little more ham than cheese. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food tasted great, and the service felt personable and exemplified southern hospitality. I would definitely consider returning, and I would recommend Maggie Mae's to others Cheers

Maggie Mae's look fun and it was. Food: a unique, toasted Cuban sans mustard with a heap of tater tots. Also tasty egg salad with pasta salad. Both with water. All good. Ambiance: this is a local oasis with a wide breakfast and lunch menu, including soup of the day. Sandwiches are specialities but we hate to have missed breakfast. Not opulent but a hometown feel you can't import. Service. Perfect. From ordering to delivery to a quick "hey" from the boss. We'll go again when in the area.

A ton of good. Everything was soooo yummy. Just under $16. Can't beat that. Also had a shepherd's pie which was made different than typical.
