Perfectly seasoned with incredible flavor, the mojarra is cooked to crispy perfection while staying juicy inside. It comes with rice and a fresh, simple side salad like most other restaurants. Every bite was like a flavor-packed hug! The dish comes with tortillas which were nothing special, but helped as a fish delivery system. Salsas that came with the dish were okay, nothing amazing but flavorful enough for the fish. Highly recommend--5/5 for me, without a doubt! read more

I ate at this restaurant today and was thoroughly disappointed. The atmosphere was run down, and the $19.95 carnitas plate was a letdown. My husband got the chicken Posole that was $16.95, it came red when typically chicken Posole is green. My carnitas plate, the food tasted reheated and lacked flavor. For that price, $78 for 2 people, really disappointing, I expected better. I advise you to consider other options, like the taco/ hot dog cart across the street, way better! I had 2 fish tacos that could only be explained as "clean & refreshing tasting", they were so light and had an incredible smoky, non-spicy sauce but you could still taste the quality of the fish. I also had 1 potato hard taco and 1 chicken hard taco. if you're not familiar with potato tacos they are extremely hard to find good ones... Yes, please! I tried this wonderful little restaurant the day after moving into a new office just around the corner. My son and I came for lunch, sat at an outdoor table, and were immediately greeted with a smile and a warm, welcoming vibe by Maria, the owner. She's also the head chef and recommended Churrasco, which my son ordered. I had the Camarones Rancheros, and both were extraordinary. The sauces were complex, fresh and tasty. EVERYTHING is fresh. The various salsas were homemade and absolutely delicious. Oh - we started with the ceviche tostada, which was also pretty much perfect. There are a lot of Mexican places around here, but this one really stands out. Not only is the food amazing, but it's clean, well organized, well run, and friendly. I really can't say enough good things. One more detail: she opened her restaurant on March 13 and was almost IMMEDIATELY shut down by the pandemic. She had to give away a lot of the food she had bought for grand opening and didn't open again until June. Let's support this local gem, folks and help make Maria a big success. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. i came here with my family and the server was a total b. i had mentioned that i wanted to practice my Spanish (as i normally do when i'm ordering) and when i was struggling the server that was there said i can speak english just say it in english then she walked away while me and my family were ordering. it made me feel really bad because i'm learning Spanish and she didn't brother to have 10 seconds of patience not to mention that the food here was absolutely disgusting. the wet burrito tasted like the red sauce was pizza sauce. the quesadilla was nothing but cheese and ground beef like texture for the meat. when she came by to check on the food. she asked if everything was ok and i said everything was fine and she told me "i didn't ask how you were i asked about the food" when i was clearly responding about the food. our bill was nearly $80 for 3 plates. the place was absolutely disgusting and filled with 5-6 flies around all of our food. we never ended up eating it and still paid. save yourself money and never give your money to this business. read more

The little but nice restaurant. I liked the decor, it made my Dad and I feel like a little Fonda somewhere in Mexico. (A fonda usually refers to a small, family-run restaurant). The service was excellent, I didn't get our waitress's name but she had orange hair, her service was excellent. We had the Mariscada with pasta in pink sauce we also had the Shrimp Ceviche and Six beers . Our total came out to $87. And some change plus tip. In my opinion the price was right.
