First of all, how dare you ever tell a bride "no need for a day of coordinator, because we will provide one!" What an absolute joke. I set the tables, the isle was NEVER set up, I was dressed and guests arriving when a friend ran in and said "the isle isn't set up at all!!" IMAGINE BEING IN YOUR DRESS AND RUNNING TO TAKE CARE OF IT. The worst part, there were clouds in the sky so they moved my entire set up from the gorgeous courtyard to this ugly, unevenly paved tent. If I wanted to have my wedding in a tent, I would have had it at a friend's house in the backyard. The "day of coordinators" were late to the Venue and never set the dried lavender up to be tossed as we walked back from the alter. I even went looking for the girl, no where to be found. Finally found her.. in some back room.. looking so stressed. And for what? She didn't do anything.. I moved all the tables myself... I arranged the florals.. I set up the dessert tables... All in all, we put on smiles and I attempted to have a lovely time. Even though I was in full regret from ever deciding to use Tívoli. I needed support, and unfortunately, I never received it from the staff. Also, when people decide to do the family style dinner,(all the different foods on a platter) you should be using FLAT plates. Not raised plates that almost look like pasta bowls. All the food came out smushed together. Imagine waiting 10 years to be married, and then this is your experience... I included a photo for proof. We were there. And no tables in the insanely beautiful courtyard.... The whole reason I traveled 300 miles for this venue.

I was looking for new pumpkin patches to visit this year, and this one popped up on my IG feed…read more Since it was only about an hour away from San Diego, I decided to take a little drive and listen to spooky stories along the way! Admission to the pumpkin patch was free, and so was parking, so you really can't beat that. I went right when they opened on the weekend to beat the crowd, and it was totally worth it. The staff were so nice and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was super relaxed and family-friendly. The pumpkin patch itself was adorable and had tons of pumpkins to choose from. There is ample room for the children to run around. There was also face painting for them as well. They also had a few local vendors selling treats. I grabbed some salty popcorn and kettle corn (both delicious!) and treated myself to a red sangria that was just as good. Overall, I had a lot of fun here, and it was definitely worth the drive. I wouldn't mind coming back, maybe next time in the evening to enjoy the sunset vibes. I also learned that this winery turns their pumpkin patch into a tree farm for the winter season, so I'm hoping when that happens, they'll have their hard cider available for purchase!

However the minute we got to the parking lot and stepped into the venue, we were speechless at the vast beauty of the estate. The oak tree immediately caught our attention, and every detail we saw after that drew us in more and more. Jennifer and Ron have done an amazing job at keeping their home and venue so well kept! Their story of how they began this venue business with their own daughter's wedding is so touching, and it makes sense why they continue to invite others into their home to host such beautiful events filled with love. They actually took part in making sure everything went accordingly on our special day, and we are so glad to have met them! I thought the venue couldn't be more beautiful the day we first visited, but when the flowers bloom and the grass becomes greener... WOW! Absolutely breathtaking!!! They have done a wonderful job with their upkeep. Kendra was our lead tour guide and ended up being our wedding day coordinator, and she absolutely played a vital role in how perfect our planning journey and wedding day went. I cannot emphasize enough how well she took care of us and our bridal party - I don't think I'll ever feel the same royal treatment anywhere, anytime else for the rest of my life! She was so patient and heard us out on every question/concern, and yet so very succinct so that when time came to make a decision, we were all on top of things. She has such a sweet personality as well, you can't help but smile whenever you're working with her! The site separations make it a fluid journey for your guests, as you begin at the lowest area with the ceremony and welcome pergola, then move up to cocktail hour where the bathrooms are conveniently located centrally, and then finally the reception area where beautiful market lights are hung. I honestly fell in love with the surrounding trees and market lights - it looks so magical at nighttime! The bridal and grooms suite are spacious and had the right amount of space for us to get ready in. We had 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, and easily fit with all of our belongings. We even held a Chinese Tea Ceremony in the front of the bridal suite, no problems at all! Some other venues had a large bridal suite and a small sad room for the Groom, but that's not the case here! They had a pool table and foosball table to enjoy! Both suites also have fridges in case you have drinks you wanted to bring! With all that being said, the windy road to Circle Oak Ranch was still a worrisome thought in our minds, but with their recommendation of a Shuttle vendor, that was all resolved! All of our guests were able to utilize the shuttle pretty effortlessly, and no one had to worry about driving back home in the dark. All of their vendor recommendations were amazing - would highly suggest picking from their list because the ones we did were perfect for us! They were patient with my now wife on setting all the decor she brought up in a Uhaul and provided us ample time to setup the chuppah the day before. The Groom's suite was spacious enough to not feel claustrophobic and the bride's suite was just as spacious. It was an absolutely beautiful day at a beautiful wedding surrounded by beautiful people. Food was great and drinks were spot on. Ron and Jennifer were excellent hosts, great to work with and can't say anything bad about them or this place.
