I have contacted them about the warranty and company failed to respond even after a certified letter. We have video and photo evidence that shows complete damage to our property, even after they attempted to resolve an issue. The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. When i inspected the work after they left for the day, I found 3 minor issues to be fixed. I took pictures of them and sent them to the saleslady, Malak. The workers came back the next day and repaired them to my satisfaction. I wanted to rearrange some of the furniture and the workers were happy to so. My husband and I needed some information on flooring and tile. I plainly stated this would not result in a sale. Nevertheless, we were encouraged to come to the store and talk with a designer. In fact, Breanne, one of DGIs friendly and knowledgeable designers, pulled samples to save us time! That service was not a fluke. We returned to the store the next day, and Breanne was not scheduled. We were connected with another charming and helpful designer, Jeri Lynn. She spent at least 30 minutes with us, patiently giving us the info we needed. My sense is that DeGraff understands that caring builds loyalty. I wish we could do business with them, but our builder buys direct from Shaw and Daltile. DeGraff and their staff are a class act.

We purchased a special order rug and, as such, they would not accept it as a return item for…read morecredit. The reason we were dissatisfied was because we paid for the binding on this rug and it became undone (that is, the stitching to hold the binding to the rug did not take). This all took place within a few months. We returned the rug for repair and after several weeks we were told it was done. After picking it up and bringing it home, it was clear that nothing had been done to repair it. We called and they apologized for the miscommunication and we returned it for 'repair'. Since the repair did not work the first time, we were offered as a second option (with the first option to redo the initial binding that didn't work) for $200 ($300 less the $100 (failed binding)) a border that would 'take care of it'. The initial cost was $550, and now, plus $200 more for a border and they can not guarantee that it will fix the problem. What would you do?

I have no problem giving a 5 star review for this carpet installation but this could have easily…read morebeen a 2-3 star review if not for Sharee and the people at Floor Coverings International (FCI). The initial home consultation with Paul was great. He had tons of samples and showed us many options and gave recommendations based on our needs. There was never any pressure to buy and he spent quite a bit of time going over the whole process and answering all our questions and concerns. We decided a few days later to go with FCI based on our meeting and the fact that their prices were competitive with the other quotes we received. Then things turned South. We were told it would take about 2-4 weeks to get the carpet from the factory. After a month, they contacted us and said that the factory was still back ordered and it would be another month. They were very apologetic and ended up removing the cost of moving the furniture from our bill. The carpet order finally arrived and we were set up for an install on November 3rd. The installers came out and had most of the old carpet ripped out and the new carpet pad laid and started to bring in the new carpet. They started to unroll the carpet and lo-and-behold - not the carpet I ordered! I took pictures and called Erick and explained the situation. He was very sympathetic to our situation and even offered a good discount on this carpet if that was an option for us. It was a nice carpet but we were set on getting the carpet we ordered so declined the offer. We had to live for a month on our 1st floor with only carpet pads for flooring. Not fun! They reordered the carpet and installed it on December 5th. The installation went without a hitch and the carpet looks great. Here's the best part. Sharee negotiated with Shaw Carpets and got them to pay for half of the cost of the carpet. Even though this whole situation had nothing to do with the people at FCI, they offered to cover the cost of the other half. How great is that? Would I recommend this company to my friends and family? You bet! If I need more carpet or flooring in the future you can be sure that they'll be the first ones I call. Thanks Sharee and Erick!
