    #1 Chicken Junction

This place has been going down hill for a minute now. Prices have been going up while quality is down. My last sub was probably $2 worth of ingredients for $15. I will not be going back anytime soon.

    The Barnyard Sandwich

First time trying Grand Junction with a friend and we didn't regret it with the crispy fresh cut fries, fast service and also a "Grand" sandwich. The sandwich had plenty of meat and the bread was an experience all of its own, crunchy on the outside but still soft and chewy on the inside but not soggy from the meat so like stale bread but better! Definitely a place I'll recommend for people to try for the first time if they haven't before. Also the chicken nuggets are worth a try, they look generic on the outside however, they are anything but generic on the inside, full of meat and a light crispy breading on the outside gives birth to a delicious snack to go with a outstanding sandwich. The next time you're at a "Junction" for where to stop for lunch remember to consider this superb sandwich shop.

    Chicken Parmesan Combo

Grand junction serves the best subs around. They are reasonably priced and the fries are top tier. The restaurant is modern and always super clean. The staff is friendly and always quick

They changed their hours and close at 8 instead of 9. Just a paper sign on the front door.

The menu has the usual pub fare - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. But on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1, the menu expands to things like omelets, hash, Benedicts and breakfast sandwiches. So, when our Friday night hotel bartender recommended Lucky's for breakfast, well, we knew where we'd be headed. The breakfast service we encountered on Saturday was extraordinary, so hats off to our server Beth. Our party of ten walked in when breakfast opened, and she quickly set up a few long tables for our group. Oh, and she set out two coloring activities and crayons for the two young guests in our group. Our breakfast started with complimentary bowls of popcorn and we saw some very interesting eye openers on the menu, like a Breakfast Punch (with Rum, orange and pineapple juice, strawberry purée, and ginger ale), a Lucky's Blueberry Pancake Shooter (with Stoli Blueberry vodka, Butterscotch, Orange Bacardi, and a slice of bacon) and a Keoki Coffee (with Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, coffee and whipped cream). We passed on these alcoholic temptations; Beth took our orders flawlessly and the food started rolling out of the kitchen in no time. We started off with a order of Beignets for the table ($9.99) - "Deep-fried beignets made with croissant dough, topped with powdered sugar & a side of strawberry jam. I tried one and it was very good -piping hot, light as a feather, but surprisingly not greasy. My wife ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelet ($13.99 served with her choice of toast and a side of fresh fruit, home fries or cheesy baked hash browns. It was a generous portion and the fruit cup she ordered was fresh and tasty. My Cajun Hash ($15.49 with Andouille disks, shredded chicken, two big shrimp, peppers, onions, cheesy hash, & scrambled eggs) was one of the best breakfasts I've had all year. It was a gigantic portion, and I was more than full with half of it. Beth was automatic with the coffee refills, was very sweet dealing with the two children in our party and gladly gave our couples separate checks. One very cool thing we saw was a "Treasure chest" full of children's toys, coloring books, and activities as freebies for the little darlings that visit. These weren't junky dollar store toys, but some nice stuff. We could not have been happier with our breakfast at Lucky's 13.

This time around was better, they had an impossible burger, a really nice sounding salad and a "bowl", plus apps. Always wish for a place with some thing special like a good black bean burger or veggie burger, but beggars cant be choosers. The bun and the topping for their burgers were very good, which makes a difference with an impossible burger. The fries were "meh", but the cauliflower hot wings were quite good (not more than once have I been to a restaurant that messes those up). Service was quite good and attentive. Drink menu had some unique options too.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind of place where you instantly know you're about to have a great experience. We ordered the seared halibut and the wild acres duck breast, and honestly... I'm still thinking about them. The halibut was perfectly cooked -- tender, delicate, and packed with flavor. The duck was incredible -- rich, balanced, and executed with precision. Every bite felt intentional. And the service? Just as impressive. Attentive, friendly, and natural -- not forced, not rushed -- just real hospitality that made the whole experience even better. It's been a long time since I've had food this memorable. This wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. I'll definitely be coming back -- and next time, I'm bringing people with me. Highly recommend.
