    The best variety, the best presentation and the best tasting... ever We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods presented and the quality of what we chose. We will return another time

    My review is based solely on the crawfish and crabs which were both delicious! Soft serve ice cream was good too. Very reasonably priced as well. Only here visiting, but will definitely eat here again before leaving.

    Grand buffet is best and largest Chinese buffet in Houma! The place is very nice and the servers are friendly! Foods are fresh!

    Something for everybody so if you have a large group, it's a great place to go. Food is fair to mediocre. I'll go again.

    Great food lots to chose from and restaurant is always clean! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Chinese food

    This is my favorite Chinese restaurant!!! I rarely go anywheres else. They have really good food & a big variety to choose from.

Fed 4 people with apps, soups, salads and specialty rolls. all sub a Benjamin. And we had togo boxes! They give fried wontons and sauce when you sit. Went through them faster than EL Taco shop chips and salsa. They were definitely a huge hit with everyone. We had a Bento Box that was filled with yummy tempura veggies and the specialty rolls were delicious. I had the Cowboy roll and they added masago (sp) and crunchies to it for me. The server overheard us talking about being her birthday and the owner brought out a plate of sweet treats for desert. Definitely worth coming back!

But not great either. Fish and other raw food is kept at room temperature which isn't always a welcoming notion. This was my fifth visit. Four of five visits had screaming infants and children's YouTube videos blaring in the background. NOT a restaurant for peace and quiet. When ordering a roll, I was offered the choice of soy or seaweed wrap. I opted for soy and my roll arrived a couple minutes later. The sushi itself wasn't bad, but again the bombardment of an infant screaming and YouTube programming really detracted from the experience. I'm uncertain as to why some parents believe their three month old would benefit from a raw fish experience. Unfortunately come time to pay, I noticed a little extra than advertised on my bill - an up charge for soy paper. Now small amounts aren't normally a big concern - provided the customer is notified of an upcharge fee when ordering. Not only was I not told, but it's not mentioned anywhere on the menu. When I inquired about it, my server was kind enough to take it off the bill. However, he then proceeded to argue that "generally people just should know that it costs more" and "nobody really says anything". Look - it's a matter of principle. The cost of doing business is what it is. But TELL people you're going to charge them extra. DON'T sneak it on to the bill and assume everyone knows. That's a shady nickel-and-diming tactic that will eventually get noticed. And don't try to defend it when you're caught red handed.

    While visiting the St. Charles Street location in Houma on the evening of February 9, 2026, my…read morefather's SUV was struck by a rolling shopping cart while parked in the lot. This was not due to weather or unusual circumstances--it reflects a failure to properly manage carts and maintain a safe environment for customers. We immediately reported the incident to store management, who came outside and took photos. However, after that initial interaction, there was no follow-up from store management. When I contacted corporate, I was told the claim had been turned over to their insurance company, Broadspire, which is not a BBB Accredited Business and has a yelp rating of 1.1/5. We promptly complied with all requests, including obtaining and submitting three repair estimates within two weeks. Despite this, there was no communication for over a month. On March 18, we were told by Matilda that the claim had been reassigned, and on March 19, we contacted the new agent, Chantelle, only to be informed that the claim was denied due to a lack of video footage. This response is unacceptable as the responsibility lies with the store to maintain control of carts and ensure their parking lot is safe. Rouse's has chosen not to take accountability for what is clearly a preventable issue. The lack of follow-up, poor communication, and ultimate denial of the claim reflect a disregard for customer safety and service.
