He helped identify that the issue was most likely related to the reversing valve, which was extremely helpful after we had been getting conflicting information elsewhere. We were referred to Grafi by Old Republic. We had initially started with another company that couldn't diagnose the issue and kept replacing parts without fixing the problem. 2 months without a unit. Eventually they said they were stuck and recommended replacing the entire unit. Old Republic requested a second opinion because the first company's explanation didn't make sense. Note: Steve is a huge liar, as evidenced by his response. I never canceled any appointment, let him know what was going on the entire time, and he called me 10 minutes before to let me know he wouldn't be showing up. He didn't take responsibility, and tried to blame me for the entire mishap. He is a liar, and clearly has no integrity. His response says I was yelling at him, which did not happen. I hung up on him because he would not take responsibility for his own mistake, and kept trying to place blame on me, the customer, who is simply waiting for him to show up when he said he would. It's pretty basic, when you make a mistake, own up to it instead of blaming the customer. It looks like he saved me, if this is how he operates, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my home or my family. --------------------------------------------------- Extremely unprofessional. I had an appointment set up, I communicated that I was going to go through my warranty company and he agreed. I take the day off of work, and he calls me 10 minutes before my appointment to say he changed everything around because I went through my warranty company. I had communicated with him the entire day yesterday to let him know what I was going to do, and he said everything would be fine, now, he is telling me I need to take an additional day off of work because he screwed the scheduling up. He attempted to try to blame me over and over again for changing the work order, but the fact is I communicated with him every single step of the way, he dropped the ball, and he will not take accountability for his unprofessional behavior. Steve came out to a service call with Old Republic Home Warranty, due to rain leaking into my return vent. He was on the roof for only 10-15 minutes taking a call at the same time, called the job done with what seems like just some quick caulking. Later the next week, rain came through the return vent again, I asked for a recall and he informed the home warranty company it was a roof issue and didn't respond to any of my texts. I went into the attic myself to check, there is no rain coming through the roof. Fast forward to today, a new reassigned company came out and looked at the issue and found areas rain could definitely be getting into the return vent, and actually did a full job dealing with water based sealant: it actually looks like real work was done to seal everything up. Would have appreciated Steve taking more time to accurately diagnose the problem, rather than doing a half baked job, leaving my home with more rain damage, and then shirking the responsibility. read more

No one else will touch my cooling and heating system again if I can help it. Steve Grafanakis is the total best at both technical expertise and customer service. He stays busy but you can't go wrong. He does semi-annual checks for me and is always responsive to any problems, no matter where he is working at the time. He does complete checks of the cooling system (or heating) and explains in detail exactly what he found or replaced. Steve was by far the worse customer service AC Technician I have ever worked with. I contacted him about my AC unit and he gave me the run around for 4 months. I called him weekly and he was supposed to replace a unit for me. He never returned a call and I had to call him over and over again. What you will find out is he is money hungry and he's a 1 man show because of his greed and lack of desire for any type of customer service. I'm sure he's a good technician but if you are the type of person looking for quality customer service HE IS NOT YOUR GUY! I would honestly give him 1 star at best. If the job is not easy he will give you the runaround because all he seems to want to do is quick fixes and move on to the next job. If I could give this man a 10 star out of 5 I would! I originally had another AC company who came and made excuses of not having a long enough of a ladder and literally left! Then by the grace of god I happened to connect to Steve and he answered me on the FIRST call (with the other company, they never even picked up the phone. It was just me calling them and leaving messages and them texting back!). He made time for me, he had all the necessary equipment any professional should have and he changed all the parts necessary and made everything work. Called my home warranty company and this is the company they used to come out and fix my A/C. Steve is very professional, efficient and fast to identify and fix the problem. Seems like he is the only service company being used by the warranty co right now. There was a long list of people in front of me, but he worked late on a Sunday (today) to make sure he can get me handled. Realized my central heating / air conditioning wasn't working on Wednesday evening, and my home warranty company dispatched Grafi Professional to my home. I had a call Wednesday night with an appointment for Thursday morning. Steve was at my house by 8:30 (even though it was raining), had determined my multiple issues by 9:15, had some fixed and had to go for a part. I was able to leave for work, as he could finish the job without me home. By 11:15, I had a text reporting all work completed. I'd call them again in a heartbeat.
