Recently visited and I think I found my new favorite restaurant! Everything we had was amazing! There is street parking, garage parking, and complimentary valet. The space is small but it feels open and very inviting! The service was wonderful! Everything we had was amazing but eh stand outs were the ceviche, crab and shrimp fried rice, and the tres leches! Can't wait to go back!
Had an annual HRW date with a friend. We invited two more girlies and wanted to have a cute dinner night. After HEAVY deliberation (there's so many options this year) we convinced them we should try graffiti raw. I'm so glad we did!! From the time I entered the energy was top tier. Full service from the threshold of the front entrance until we were literally back at valet. Staff and management here are so hospitable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with each piece complementing another. Love the wall art in the restroom entrances as well as the light fixtures. Let's get to the food and drinks cuz that's why y'all are still reading . I'm on my 3rd alcohol cleans of the year so I have suggestions for the mocktail girlies as well! I enjoyed both the grapefruit spritz ~ sub grapefruit for watermelon and the chulita. The other ladies had the jacy, margarita, ruby red , and the collective. No complaints on any of them. We all started with the crispy calamari. The shishito peppers paired so well with seasonings and calamari was coated perfectly. Second course some of the ladies chose the ceviche combo, wiped their plates clean! I enjoyed the crab and shrimp fried rice. The sauce that comes with it really elevated the flavors. For the third course the linguini apps vongole took the win at the table. One of the ladies got the chicken schnitzel and while the chicken was prepared to her liking she still felt like something was missing. We closed out with the most perfect tres leches and a cheesecake for one. Before our food hit the table we already were discussing coming back for brunch. They have $15 mimosa carafes, happy hours during the week and even nightly wine specials. Another great mention is that everything is used with honest ingredients!! Truly a gem to find now a days.
We tried graffiti raw for HRW and had an amazing time. The service was fantastic, quick, friendly and the most attentive we've had in a long time. The restaurant is beautifully decorated as well. We felt like the HRW was a great value - we tried the crispy tuna, fried rice, caviar and chips, calamari, linguine, cheese burger and vanilla bean cheesecake. Zero complaints about anything - it was all delicious! But I have to say the linguine was awesome and the caviar and chips were a great app. We have already decided to come back to try the regular menu as well. 10/10 and can't wait to come back
Very cool restaurant in lower Westheimer that has a California-beachy vibe. We enjoyed spicy mexcal margaritas along with a baked fish dish and a spicy salmon curry bowl. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The only thing we didn't love was forced valet parking due to the lack of meaningful alternatives.... but definitely worth checking out Graffiti Raw!
My mom first discovered this restaurant and wanted to try it with me. We had lunch reservations and were seated right away with no wait. Although the restaurant was not very crowded, the atmosphere was still very pleasant. The space is beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but overall, I am unsure if the experience was strong enough to make me want to return. To start, my mom and I ordered the Crispy Calamari and the Charred Octopus. The octopus was easily the standout dish of our meal. It was incredibly tender and flavorful, and it paired well with the other components on the plate, including the crème fraîche, chili crunch, potato, and chorizo. A staff member also came by to cut the octopus for us and recommended that we eat it with everything on the plate, which elevated the experience. That said, I would have liked a bit more of the chimichurri to help brighten the dish and cut through the richness of the cream and potato. Unfortunately, the calamari was very average in comparison. While it was fried well in terms of color, the batter was overly thick and overwhelming, especially since the calamari itself was overcooked. The excessive batter made it tough and difficult to chew, to the point where it was hard to cut with a fork. The seasoning was good and the portion size was generous, but the texture ultimately took away from the dish. We also ordered the Angus Cheeseburger, though by the time it arrived, we were already quite full from the generous portions of the appetizers. We still gave it a try, but it was fairly ordinary. The bun was very soft and there was plenty of sauce, the fries were soggy, and while the smashed patties were cooked well, nothing about the burger stood out. Overall, while the service and ambiance were enjoyable, the food was inconsistent and did not fully justify a return visit. Aside from the excellent octopus, most of the dishes were forgettable, making this a place I would likely skip in favor of more reliable options nearby.
Near Montrose and Westheimer, fun place to people watch. Pluses 1. Outdoor patio 2. Spaghetti carbonara Areas to improve 1. Outdoor chairs not comfortable 2. Cocktail was just okay and pricey 3. Linguine vongole- so salty and spicy, inedible, server apologized for not letting me know in advance 4. Calamari good amount but also too salty I've eaten at their other concepts before. They do have HH which could be interesting. Moderate price point. It was a wonderful day to be outside for dinner, but not sure I would return for the food.
Great Happy Hour, $5 Aperol spritzes on Thursdays. A cute little place with good vibes, good energy, and some outside seating. Perfect for a sunny day to sit outside. They have a really good cocktail menu and will validate valet parking. Okay some of the best calamari I've tasted! It also has fried asparagus or green onions or something alongside shishito peppers and garlic chips. This was pretty damn good if you excuse my French. It was fried and seasoned perfectly and it came with a banana pepper aioli and a lemon infused pepper olive oil which was delicious! I also ordered the crispy rice tuna cake which was beautiful and executed perfectly. The tuna was so fresh and delicious, the avocado beautifully sliced, and the chili oil and slight spice around and on top brought this appetizer full circle. Ty Chris for a lovely and attentive experience.
The food and service is top tier, all of the items we ordered were great and seasoned well. Something so devine like calamari with shishito peppers was a great appetizer along with the miso salad. We sat outside with a nice breeze blowing and under some shaded trees.
What a lovely place to dine at, especially if you enjoy sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The outdoor seating was nice, each table had umbrellas so you don't need to worry about catching too much sun. They play music that could be heard from outside. They offer a variety of cocktails and wines as well as brunch items during the weekend. They validate valet parking! So if you want free parking do not park in the garage across the street. To drink I got "The Perla" and a "Carajillo" both super delicious. The Perla is the perfect blend of pineapple and coconut. A creamy refreshing cocktail. The Carajillo was delicious! I'm very picky when it comes to Carajillos and this one was great! I approve! I love that rich coffee taste, the bartender killed it! For appetizers we ordered the Crispy Calamari and Crispy Rice & Tuna. The server did advise us that the Crispy Rice & Tuna is 2 bites, the size of two bites. I will say it's one bite max, super tiny for the price point. It was tasty and fresh but a little pricy for something so small. The Crispy Calamari was so good. I loved the dipping sauces that came with it. Both a lemon butter and oil, very delicious. The calamari was cooked to perfection and the flavors were amazing. For our entrées, we got "The Cure" which is a brunch menu item and an "Angus Cheeseburger" as well as a side of Brussels sprouts. The Cure is their carbonara spaghetti with breaded chicken. It was a nice surprise seeing the carbonara be prepared at our table. This dish was delicious. No complaints. I loved that the Angus cheeseburger was t smashed patties! The patties were cooked perfectly, they had that nice crispy edge that I love! And the Brussels sprouts were a 10/10, that perfect sweet and savory flavor I look when I eat Brussels sprouts! So good, all the food was really good. The service was great too. Our server was very attentive. Always checking up on us and making sure everything was good before leaving the table. At one point my friend had ordered an espresso martini with rum. She did not like the espresso martini. It tasted different than what we were accustomed to. We let the server know, and she gladly exchanged the drink. After exchanging the drink, the bartender advised her that they used the wrong type of rum for the espresso martini. Both the server and the manager came to our table to apologize for the mistake and didn't charge us for the drink, which I found to be great customer service on their end. That was very nice of them to come apologize for the little mistake. Overall, I really enjoyed my dining experience at graffiti raw. I will be back! Don't forget to ask about parking validation. And they do offer reservations!
I've had this place on my list for a while and was really looking forward to it. My server was from Scotland I think his name was Nick or sounded like Nick. He was so friendly and extremely enthusiastic. He read off the specials and they sounded delicious so I didn't bother with the menu. Maybe I should have explored the menu. The fall salad was really good spring leaves with butternut squash, dates, feta, pomegranate I think I might make this for thanksgiving. However the chicken was a disappointment the chicken was dry and had no seasoning. The rice was dry. A little sauce could have saved this dish. Crème brûlée was good though I wish the topping was warm or at least room temperature. It's a cute restaurant maybe I'll try something else next time.
I came to Graffiti Raw on my esthetician's recommendation and I was not disappointed. We made outdoor reservations just in case and I suggest you do the same if it's a particularly beautiful day. We were already parked at the garage parking across the street so we walked from there although if you're lucky you could snag a street parking spot. The ambiance was beautiful indoor and most things I tried were tasty. The service was wonderful and the manager was nice to us. They also have a bunch menu from 10-4 on the weekends. Here are my thoughts on the food and drinks. Crispy Rice & Tuna $14 - 3/5 The flavor was fine, nothing new, but the portion was laughably small and was one bite. The waitress warned us that it was "two bites," but it was one piece we had to cut in half. For the price, I expected two individual pieces. Also, it's worth noting that this is under the "To share- All Day Menu".....Not worth it. Crispy Calamari $22 - 4.5/5 This was so good! I really like how they added fried green onion into the mix and the two sauces it came with complimented it very well. It came with a lemon creamy sauce and a lemon infused oil for dipping. Caramelized Brussel Sprouts $10- 4/5 These are a pretty solid choice. They were savory and came with caramelized onions as well. Didn't have that touch of sweet or crisp that I prefer on brussels but they were good. The Cure (brunch menu) $28- 4/5 This one was tasty and a fun experience as well because the waitress came and made the sauce at the table. I just wish the cutlet wasn't so dry and thin. Angus Cheeseburger $18- 4.8/5 This smash burger was juicy and flavorful. Almost on par with my favorite spot Burger Bodega. El Pepino $16- 3.7/5 It's what I expected from this drink. Nothing more nothing less. Refreshing cucumber margarita basically. Bloom $18- 4.5/5 This was so good! Definitely don't buy it if you aren't a fan of florals. Espresso Martini- 1/5 This was easily the worst thing I had. I asked for rum (I've had one before with rum and it was amazing), told the server to go with whatever rum the bartender recommends since I'd only had the drink once before. Now I know: always ask for dark rum. Hard to say if it was the white rum or their coffee base, but either way, it just didn't work. The manager came over and comped the drink because he had heard I didn't like it which was really nice but he explained that dark rum would have made it taste better so it turned out to be a learning lesson for me! Carajillo 5/5- This was amazing. Super smooth and tasty. This is the experience I wanted from my espresso martini. Overall I'd come back!
This was my first time ever trying this restaurant! We came for brunch. It is super cute and open inside. I love that they offer carafes of mimosas inside of just singles. I had the Sunrise Sandwich and the Oysters, both of which were delicious and flavorful. I will add that I am usually not a fan of tator tots, but these were SO good and cooked to perfection. Our server was able to offer great suggestions and was really nice and attentive, making our experience even better! Would definitely come back to try for dinner!
We went back for restaurant weeks and had a pleasant experience all around. Food was really good, including the new cheesecake dessert option. Service was a little spotty, especially since they forgot our second course, but they were professional and nice about it. Overall a satisfying experience for a casual, relaxed outing.

Checking out this new restaurant in Montrose Collective! Parking is either street parking or valet. I opted to do street parking and just walked over. We did a variety of dishes and did family style. Our favorite dishes were the charred octopus and the spaghetti rustichella!!!! Man they were SO good. The charred octopus was served with chorizo, paprika, crème fraiche, and a boiled lemon potato. Everything worked together so well!! The octopus was also nicely cooked. The spaghetti rustichella was served with uni, Calabrian chili, and lemon. This pasta was so filling and delicious. The flavor was spot on!! I would order the octopus and spaghetti again since they were the standout dishes. Other dishes we ordered were the roasted oysters, the snapper ceviche, and the nori tostada. The other dishes were also good, but my only complaint about the tostada was it was a bit hard. It was a nori rice flour batter so I'm wondering if it was cooked for too long. Overall, great service and cute ambiance. Very much coastal, cali vibes! Will be back again to try other dishes! read more
A friend and I came for lunch. The ambiance and service were great. The menu is pretty eclectic with some Asian, Mexican and Italian inspired dishes. The cod croquettes were pretty good especially the sauce that came with it. I got the forbidden bowl which has salmon in it. Very healthy and filling as well. The highlight though was actually the beer cake. I've never had anything like it before but it was very refreshing. This is a good spot for date nights or girls nights out. Will def try their cocktails next time. read more
Walked in to a cute, very energetic small restaurant. Had a wait a while for my reservation (20-30 minutes) which was disappointing, but they did offer me a sample frozen margarita. Table service was excellent followed by roaming manager assisting. Food was wonderful, delicious menu! Overall 5 read more

Been wanting to try this spot out and they recently started doing happy hour so it was perfect. The service was excellent our server was so knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations off the menu and the manager Alex also came to check on us throughout the night. The happy hour menu in my opinion was amazing, it was high quality food for a decent price and portion sizes. They also had about 4 cocktails that were part of happy hour just not on the happy hour menu. The restaurant itself is beautiful it feels intimate with dim lighting. The happy hour menu is featured every day from 11am-6pm. Our personal favorites were the crab fried rice and the guacamole. There is valet, a parking garage or street parking. Will definitely be returning soon!! read more
Met up with some friends for dinner here. We had a reservation here but there was also a wait time. The interior was nicely decorated and the lights dim. Because we had a reservation but still had to wait, they provided us with complimentary froze which was nice because honestly it was starting to get frustrating. When we finally sat, the manager Gia came and apologized for the mixup because while we stood there, people who came after us were being seated. Our server was Deja and she was absolutely amazing. Very helpful, provided us with details on the menu and answered all our questions with no hesitation. For food we had roasted oysters, garlic shrimp, guacamole and chips, crab and shrimp fried rice. All the food was flavorful and definitely worth the wait. read more
I really enjoyed going here. Me and my friends went for a Galentines dinner and I was not disappointed. Our server was very nice and suggested we try the Orange wine. This was my first time trying orange wine and I really liked it. We were also feeling a little boujee so we got the caviar and chips. I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed the flavor combo with the salty caviar, light cream, and crunchy chip. I also liked how all the food on the menu were things you would see at most restaurants with a slight twist to it. My favorite dish was the fried rice. The restaurant itself is super cute and I love the decoration. It feels cute yet casual and low key at the same time. I didn't have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. read more

Amazing food, cutest little area, and wonderful service!! Chris was our waiter and was so attentive and willing to provide guidance and suggestions. Happy hour deals are awesome as well. We got the caviar + chips, the oysters, and the shrimp and crab fried rice. Everything was $12 for the happy hour and select drinks were also $7-$10 for the happy hour! So worth it, we will be back! read more

Came with some friends today around 4:30 to try out the Houston Restaurant Week Menu. Was greeted very nicely and the food was amazing! The restaurant is super nice definitely a nice spot within the bundle of places downtown Houston offers! Definitely check out their Calamari & Crab and Shrimp Fried Rice they are delish! The oysters are extremely fresh and come served super cold, which we loved. I ordered their Salmon and it was cooked to perfection but lacked a bit of a kick. My friend's Angus Burger was great although the amount of fries made it look small. For dessert we had the Tres Leches and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake which were both pretty good. Overall the menu was great! The service was also good for the most part; however, our waiter offered us happy hour prices and charged my friend regular price for the oysters. It went from 24$ to 48$ which isn't a big jump, yet he gave us no explanation or warning. Thats truly the only problem we had with the experience other than the waiter being slightly dismissive bwcause of our younger look I assume? As a server myself, I understand equal treatment is key and he lacked this greatly. The host and buss girl were super kind, and gave this place freshness. Was just mad about no alert on the price hike my friend received. Will call later to ask management about the situation as we could not ask at the moment due to us being in a rush. Not sure what the waiter's name is, just be careful when ordering off happy hour to receive the right prices! read more

10000% going back! This place was not only cozy and cute but the staff was on it all night. Most staff fall off around the end of the dinner but here they were on top of all our orders, wants and needs until we walked out the door. They even comped our deserts because we were celebrating anniversaries. Food was delicious. read more
Really enjoyed coming here. The food/drinks and service were amazing. My friends and I ate outside on the patio and had a great time. We had a few cocktails and shared some appetizers and all of it was great. The charred octopus was definitely my favorite. Will definitely come back again. read more

First to arrive for ladies date night, I got started on the cocktail menu- drinks are stiff and pretty good, though one in our party sent one back. With ease, our server was cool about it. For apps, we tried the crab croquettes (yum) and, after much trepidation, the stuffed avo. Would come back for that avo! Shoutout to our server for suggesting. My entree (crab and shrimp fried rice) was kinda salty that night and incredibly salty the next. There are many ceviche options left to explore, so I'll be back. That forth stars is for the vibes: very nicely done interior and the entrance smelled like incense. Two word review: stuffed avocado. read more

We came in on a Saturday for dinner reservations at 7:30 pm, we had to wait for our table and it was understandable given how busy they were. There wasn't much room to wait by the hostess stand so we had to wait outside and it was cold, wished they had some outside heaters. Both of our dishes were SO salty. Got the clam pasta and shrimp and crab fried rice. Our drinks we ordered arrived after our food due to the bartender being overwhelmed. Would not come back anytime soon. Decor was cute. The waitress was great and very friendly so at least the customer service was good! Shout out to her for handing so many tables on a busy night. read more

I have visited this place a few times and I must overall the food is pretty good. The crab and shrimp fried rice is one of my favs. Warning - it's SPICY !!!! It was so good that I fought threw the spice haha! I later learned they can hold the spice so if you aren't a big spicy fan you may want to say light spice. The service and ambiance is great. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Graffiti Raw, a new place I decided to check out. The Manager Angel was very friendly, and we had a nice chat about the food and the other restaurants he works with. He made me feel very welcome and invited me to come back anytime. The space is gorgeous and cozy, perfect for a romantic date or a family dinner. The space is also very convenient for working or studying while you enjoy your meal. The food was amazing, one of the best I've ever had! Parking: They have complimentary valet parking. You give valet your number they send you a text. When inside you scan the QR code to validate the ticket. read more
Food and Service was extraordinary. They provide a complimentary cocktail while you wait. Saturdays get packed so I'd recommend a reservation. I tried them out for HRW 24 so that may be why. Everything I ate was delicious. The chicken paillard was light yet filling though it was fried. Wasn't a BIG fan of the potatoes that accompanied it. The crab and shrimp fried rice had a fresh flavor. It was one of my faves. The calamari was ok. It was light and cooked well. I felt something was missing flavor wise and I think it was the sauce. I'm a sweet chili or aioli girl. For dessert I had the beet cake which was surprisingly yummy. I would go back to Graffiti Raw again but not on a weekend. One star was removed because we weren't seated for another 35 minutes after our reservation time. Restaurants typically cancel your reservation after a 15 minute grace period read more

Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and great service! While the OpenTable searches brought this up as a "kid friendly" option, I recommend leaving the babies at the house to enjoy a day out with the girls (the restaurant does not have high chairs). Lauren the manager was so amazing about ensuring our accommodations suited our reservation...she went above and beyond and truly made me want to return due to her amazing customer service and professional demeanor. I can't wait to come back for more caviar and chips, another French 75, & explore more options on the menu. read more
Omg when do I get to go back?! We went on Sunday for dinner and it was amazing. BF got the HRW menu and I ordered off their standard menu. Everything was delicious!!! Service was excellent and the ambiance was really nice. Upscale but not super fancy or uncomfortable . This is the type of food/service I expect when I go to a nice dinner. Some of our favorites were the charred octopus, spaghetti rustichella, shrimp and crab fried rice and the beet cake! Don't knock it until you try it! read more

Went here on a Friday around 6pm for dinner. We originally had reservations at 7:30pm but they were accommodating and seated us immediately since there were open tables. It did get busy soon after and noticed people had to wait so I would recommend making a reservation if you're going to come at prime time. Street parking is available if you're lucky. There's also valet and a parking garage you have to pay for across the street. Overall ambience felt like a vacation. I loved the bohemian decor and natural lighting. The drinks we got were the Lustre Pearl and The Jacy. The Lustre Pearl was on the sweeter side, but if you like pina coladas, you'll enjoy this drink. The Jacy is good if you like spicy drinks and tequila. For appetizers, we got the Greek Crudo and Charred Octopus. The octopus was easily my favorite dish of the night. It had a good charred flavor balanced with the seasoning, creme fraiche and lemon juice you squeeze on top. Our waitress cut the octopus for us to make it easier to eat. The ceviche was just ok. I felt like it was missing sauce so it felt like we were just eating dry seasoned fish. For entrees, we ordered the Spaghetti Rustichella and Pork Ribs. The spaghetti was pretty good and the uni wasn't too fishy. I wouldn't say it was super amazing though. The ribs require an acquired taste. We were unfamiliar with mole so we didn't know what to expect. It had a slightly bitter taste and we could taste the chocolate in it which we weren't huge fans of. It didn't have any standout flavor to it, but the ribs were cooked well and were very tender. read more

Love Graffiti Raw! Tried their dinner menu for the first time and it was really really good! I love how smal and intimate the place is. After shopping, my friend and I decided to stop by for a quick drink. We ordered the Drip and The collective. The drip was delicious and had a nice chocolate hint of coffee. As for the Collective, it was very refreshing but the mezcal was a bit overpowering for my taste. After seeing so many high star reviews on Yelp, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Very small but cute place with coastal vibe decors. It's in the busy Montrose area. so parking options are: valet, paid parking garage, or test your luck with limited street parkings. Service was very attentive but also it was a weekday and they were not busy when we were there. Overall, food presentation is A+ but everything was over salted. We kept asking for our water carafe to be refilled to wash all that saltiness down. What we ordered: _ -Charred Octopus: 3:5 was very small to be sharable. The one dish that was not heavily salted. Spaghetti Rustichella: 1/5 because it was the most salted dish we ordered. Other than the uni infused flavor, it was just plain salted spaghetti noodles. Too pricey for just a simply dish Nori Tostada: 4/5 Probably the best dish we had but too small to be shareable as well Forbidden Bowl: 2/5 Nothing too special. More like a vegetable rice bowl. There were very few pieces of salmon- 2-3 cubes of salmon to be exact Whole Roasted Branzini 5/5 was the best dish out of everything we ordered because the fish was well seasoned and not over salted like everything else. Sautéed Daily Greens 0/5 mixed green sautéed with 1 pound of salt. It was left untouched after the first bite because it was so salty. Plantain & Taro Chips 3/5 chips were perfectly fried, not greasy. Again over salted so we had to brush the salt of with the tablecloth to be edible. We will definitely not return to this restaurant. read more

We came in for houston restaurant week and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing and attentive. The food was all brought out in good timing and everything was delicious. This restaurant is so California chic. We got a bunch of dishes to try and everything was delicious. I don't have a sweet tooth so I usually would skip desserts but I am so glad we ordered the beet cake. It Tasted like carrot cake with a dash of cinnamon and was not sweet at all. Our waitress Dais (I forgot how to spell her name) was amazing from start to finish. Parking situation: you can either park on the street or complimentary valet across from the restaurant. There is also a parking garage but it is not free. I had to pay $9. read more

Graffiti raw is one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area! The inside is light and airy and there is plenty of outdoor seating as well. I've been here a few times now and tried many menu items and every dish I've tried so far is very good. If I had to recommend one item though it would be items from the ceviche part of the menu. Service is very friendly and the staff is warm and welcoming. This restaurant is located in the montrose collective area so parking can be a little chaotic depending on what time you come. read more
Came here on a Sunday evening with a reservation. We booked the reservation online and thought we would be seated inside because it said "outside seating is upon request". So something to note! We ended up sitting outside, but it was still nice! I would still try to sit inside next time because the interior is absolutely gorgeous. It can be a bit loud but it is an intimate setting with low-lighting. We got the pepino (green) and the collective (yellow) for drinks. Very yummy and got the job done haha. I got the linguine, and it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was outstanding or worth the $30 bucks, but I would come again for the vibes. Service was great. Employees were attentive and came back frequently but were not overbearing. Parking is quite difficult. There is paid garage parking across the street or you will have to keep driving around until you find a spot. read more
