I think the most fitting review for Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip is to paraphrase Eddie Murphy in Raw "Mr. Ice Cream Man! Mr. Ice Cream Man! ... I got some ice cream, and you don't have no ice cream. You didn't get none. You didn't get none. You wan't some ice cream." read more

Graters has some of the best Ice Cream I have ever tastes! The chocolate coconut almond fudge is to die for! Also the Blueberry Pie one is a must try! They offer many samples, the ice cream is hand churned and you can tell! YUM!!! read more

Amazing ice cream! It tastes similar to Sherman's ice cream in South Haven, MI (if anyone has been there). I'd recommend the peanut butter chocolate chip (the chocolate chips aren't hard but soft), Salted Caramel, and the Cotton Candy. This ice cream is thick and creamy and rich, and makes Dairy Queen or Culver's ice cream seem like milk. Very delicious. read more

So I've been going to Graeter's well before that other famous ice cream shop showed up in town. I have always loved Graeter's. Do they have the crazy flavors that Jeni's does? No. But they have some amazing flavors and it is good, solid ice cream. In fact, it's the only ice cream I've been getting for the last couple of years. My favorite go to is the mocha chocolate chip. Their chocolate chips are like chocolate chunks/whole candy bars. Sometimes you get a "chip" the size of your two thumbs put together- no joke! And I love it! The servers are always friendly, they have a rewards program which is a nice incentive, the store always seems clean, and they have plenty of places to sit out front and back during the spring and summer. I think their prices have increased over the last year or so, but you can still get out of there spending less than $10 for two people. I definitely recommend checking out any of the Graeter's locations in Columbus! You won't regret it. read more

What more can I say but yum dum didda lol. Great ice cream great area great place. You deserve this treat so don't cheat yourself. They serve tradition sundaes splits and ice cream but also add rich chocolate flavors and kid crazy flavors like cotton candy. One of the beat ice cream shops in Ohio. read more

I've been eating Graeter's Ice Cream since I was a kid living in Grove City and man, it's still good! I went and treated myself and a friend to a couple of their seasonal milkshakes. Delicious and masterful. The dining room was cute, hearts for the backs of the chairs (not really, but shaped like 'em), and of course, the main attraction in an ice cream shop... The Ice Cream. Graeter's is very proud of their history. They have pictures and little tid bits of information lining the walls. The smell of an ice cream shop is heavenly, and will most likely bring me back for another milkshake. read more

This is how ice cream should be. This place looks like an ice cream parlor should Yummy delicious ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and more. no...they do not have 48 flavors or those strange ones like...picked watermellon. but they do have several good ...very good quality flavors to choose from and they have generous servings. and nice staff. I got the black cherry shake....it was perfect. read more

I love ice cream, like, LOVE ice cream. This Graeters in particular was my first job ever, and also may have solidified my love for ice cream. So, starting with positives, their ice cream is so thick and creamy. I hate that "fluffy" ice cream. That's not ice cream. If I remember from my training many years ago, let's say.... 10, their ice cream is less than 1% air. I like that. Also, waffle cones made fresh every day (assuming they still are). They've got a huge selection of ice cream flavors (albeit very "normal" when you compare it to Jenis), sorbets, low sugar ice creams, on top of things like smoothies and other specialties. Employees are always friendly, even when it's national ice cream day and there's a line out the door. Also, thanks for letting me celebrate national ice cream day with you. What a deal! Price point isn't that bad. Is it kind of expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Another perk, I live close enough to walk here so that burns off all the calories I get from eating the ice cream. Right? Now for the negatives. Banana chip for the past few years was a summer flavor (between strawberry chip and peach I think). There was not banana chip this year. What's up with that? Also, no more praline pecan or pistachio. I get it, nuts are expensive, but if Whits can do a pistachio one week a year you can at the very least make it a monthly flavor. You got the money. Same thing goes for praline pecan and butter pecan. I will give you six stars if you make a batch of banana chip for me. I'll be in next week. read more

The ice cream speaks for itself. Always delicious and interesting flavors to try. The staff here is super friendly and always offer us samples to taste. read more

Graeter's Ice Cream never disappoints! I love this place. Their ice cream always tastes delicious, and their seasonal flavors keep you coming back for more. I recently tried their seasonal peach and went back twice to get more. It is unlike other ice cream; it is creamy and soft, and not overly sweet which allows you to truly taste the flavors. The summer seasonal peach has big chunks of fruit and the taste is heavenly! I am a huge Graeter's Ice Cream fan! Also, their shop in Bexley is always super clean with a friendly staff. read more

Graeter's Ice Cream - Seasonal Peach on top of Seasonal Cheese Crown (tastes similar to cheesecake but better), what a killer combination! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bexley, Ohio

The creamiest, most delicious ice cream with many flavors to choose from. The store told me the black raspberry with chocolate chip is the most popular, but I prefer the black cherry with chocolate chip. Also, the Madagascar Vanilla is the best vanilla ice cream I have tasted. And I just tried the coconut with chocolate chip. The chocolate chip flavors have an abundance of deliciously gooey/chewy chocolate chips! read more

This is the best ice cream anywhere. I love the huge chunks of chocolate. The ice cream is r

Good ice cream all the time. I usually get a shake but I opted for a cup this time around. The ladies are always smiling and friendly, even at 9:30 at night. Good for family, friends, first dates or late night fix. read more

This is my favorite place to go when I'm in Bexley. I drag the whole family with me. I cannot get ice cream like this at home. I always try to get the seasonal flavor. The ice cream is so creamy and the chocolate chips are huge! read more

I'm not impressed over the quality of their ice cream. UDF ice cream is even by far better. So far on Columbus I will give the crown to Stone Cold. read more

Sweet treat after a buckeye game! The place is packed! I was not a fan of the raspberry chocolate chip but it seems to be the favorite!

Great place for the family. Black raspberry chocolate chunk is still excellent. The young people who work here are friendly. And the whole experience is a throw back. Very nice. read more

Great place to stop after a movie at the Drexel Theater. They always seem to find the teenagers who actually care about where they work and about doing a good job which is refreshing. They have a good selection of flavors including some seasonal flavors. It's creamy, well flavored and fresh. My favorite is the black raspberry chip because of the huge chunks of chocolate in it. Give it a try! read more

I think this is the shop in Bexley... but I'm not sure. I can't imagine the other locations being any less delicious, though. I'm an ice cream lover. I could eat it for/between/with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My belly is never too "full" for ice cream. I grew up on Mitchell's Ice Cream in San Francisco, which has my heart. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that Graeters didn't give it a run for its money. Graeters wins ONLY in the "chip" flavors category. Mitchell's wins in every other flavor category. I got the Buckeye Blitz, and holy cow... orgasmic. It was the best thing I have ever tried. Chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, and the chocolate chunks.... which are deliciously chewy and YUM! Totally coming here again the next time I'm in Columbus. read more

Chocolate milkshake to freaking DIE for!!! Cute location in the heart of bexley.

I have heard that this is the original Graeter's, but that is absoluely not true. Still, they have enormous chunks of chocolate in their ice cream, and that is really all you need. The self-serve water dispenser in the back is something I appreciate, because ice cream makes me thirsty. This is a delectable pit stop in a lovely walking neighborhood, with one of my favorite movie theatres just a block away. read more

Courteous, friendly staff, and memorable ice cream--particularly their refreshingly light pistachio ice cream and mint-chocolate chip.

Good quality, hard, homemade ice cream. Favorites are any of the chip flavored with big chunks of chocolate, cinnamon, pistachio

It is a nice neighborhood ice cream shop with the fatiest ice cream you can possible imagine with gigantic chunks of chocolate in the chip varieties. The best deal, if you like chocolate, is to get your favorite chocolate chip ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. read more

Upscale indoor ice creamery that aims to win over true desert enthusiasts and fans of gelato. Despite the clean environment and reasonable prices, there's nothing particularly fantastic about Graeter's to a non Columbus native. An enjoyable experience is very likely, but discovering it as your new favorite ice cream shop is not. read more

Awesome ice cream. Super friendly staff, they let us sample a ton of flavors since we couldn't make up our mind. Thankfully no one was in line behind us! Once you taste the ice cream you realize why it's so expensive. read more

After a dinner of some great spinach lasagna at an Italian restaurant, my mom and I went here for some dessert. What's that? Why not get gelato at the restaurant? Because shut up. Anyway, I decided on a scoop of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and a scoop of Cookies and Cream, while Mom got Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzel and Salty Caramel. Right from my first bite, my thoughts dissolved into delighted squeals and cheers. Graeter's is creamy, rich, and definitely worthy of being an Ohio staple. The frenzied peanut butter addict inside of me was ready to snort that shit though a straw, not to mention the gargantuan milk chocolate chips scattered throughout. As for the Cookies and Cream, the less rabid but still passionate Oreo fanatic inside me was immensely pleased with the wonderfully sweet combo of crushed cookies and premium vanilla ice cream. My mom was also really happy with her ice cream, especially the Salty Caramel. Nice big store, with huge serving sizes. Seriously, we couldn't even finish our bowls. This makes me glad that our local grocery store has the decency to carry Graeter's. The next time I'm in Ohio, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be back. read more

If you've grown tired of getting your Graeter's fix at the generic kiosk located in the middle of the mall section of Easton, a trip to this charming little ice cream parlor in Bexley is definitely in order. The area surrounding this branch of the popular local chain is perfect for a stroll on a warm Friday night, so what better way to top the evening off with than a heaping bowl of Buckeye Blitz ice cream, right? Speaking of the ice cream, the only other place in town that can match (and beat, actually, but that's another story) the quality of the ice cream here is Jeni's, but the style of the goods here is far more classic and family-friendly than that of its decidedly hipper and more progressive counterpart. Although the bulk of the flavors here are far from adventurous, the quality of them is always paramount. The texture of Graeter's is creamy and smooth, which is what sets it aside from most of the other hard-serve shops around Columbus. And they have Buckeye Blitz, a perfect storm of chocolate and peanutbutter that should be served with a warning label to heed you of the addiction you're potentially taking on after eating it for the first time. Anyways, back to the store. The black and white tiles, friendly staff, and outdoor seating area make this specific location an absolute classic. It seems to be run by local teenagers at time, but you can't fault them for trying at least, right? Next time you have a group that's too hard to please for a trip to Jenny's, the Bexley Graeter's might be just what the doctor ordered. read more

I LOVE ice cream. I'm from Cincinnati and used to eat at the original Graeter's. Still loving it!
