I haven't updated since they moved? Well, they moved, down the street a bit, into the old Swan Cleaners. About 4 times as big, still stuffed with good things. Nostalgic candy, the latest TikTok trends, imports, seasonal, etc. Right now a lot of fun Christmas things. Raindeer poop gummies, old-fashioned ribbon candy, and much more. Plus some pop, fudge, bulk stuff, and a clearance table. Fun place, nice owners, astonishing assortment of treats. read more

They have candies there that I haven't seen since my childhood. They also have familiar candies and some from overseas.

Have wanted to check this place out forever, today was the day. Met Jay who stated they had been in business for around 6 years and at the current location for a year. It's a small store that it's set up to showcase a variety of different candies from all over. It's definitely a place that you have to go back to, just to absorb what they have. I got Mallow Cups, Zero Bar and a Watchmacallit Bar. Again you have to check it out at least once. read more

Super cute store with lots to offer! I stopped by to pick up some Swedish candy that have been all the rage on TikTok. I was able to get everything I wanted to try and then some! They have tons to pick from, including candy from other countries. The prices are fair and employees are very friendly. I hope to return some time, their hours are a little strange though so it doesn't leave me a lot of time to visit. read more

OMGoodness! This is a paradise for adults who like and appreciate old school and good quality candy. No it isn't expensive but you kind of get into your feels paying $0.50 for a small pack of now and laters when I use to pay $0.10 "cough cough" years ago. I've seen them for $0.75. I have never bought them. They sell candy bars from other countries, Reese's, KitKat Bars, etc. I spent $46, not because it's expensive but because I was ridiculous. read more

What a gem for Gahanna! From the classic, old school candy to the seasonal candy to the international candy, this place is amazing. From the start, Jay the co-owner was very personable and gave me a lot of suggestions for candy I might enjoy. You can see he truly loves his business and the layout and selection confirms it. They're also really active on Facebook about their new stock. I'm not even a really big candy lover but it's hard not to love candy with all the excitement. I was hesitant to return to this business since the pandemic, but I'm so glad I did! During my most recent visit, masks were required in-store, as well as hand sanitizing upon entry. It gave me peace of mind when I heard the staff remind several customers to follow the rules to ensure safety. They still have a wonderful selection in-store and online. 5 stars: they have parking, a huge selection, and easy peasy online ordering system. I paid online as well, and my bagged candy was ready to pick up in the basket in front of the door. The best part is they had plenty of Curly Wurly bars, aka Marathon, my favorite candy bars from my childhood. Can ya beat that? I also got buckeyes (they have white chocolate ones too), gummy bracelets for grandchildren, cow tales, etc. This would be the place for a great variety of Halloween candy. I don't travel to Gahanna often, but will surely return to this shop. It will be fun to take my time, because it is packed full of candy selections. This is a hidden gem in Gahanna. The best candy store I have ever been in. Hard candy, chewy candy.nostalgic candy even some sugar free candy. Chocolate - incredible selection of imported chocolate from UK and Canada. Real Cadbury ! The best thing is packaging - many can be bought as single flavors- already packaged single favors of jolly ranchers and yummy salt water taffy. Of course if you like a variety bag you've got it. Also yummy treats like humongous fancy Rice Krispie treats ( perfect little gifts) and my fave - Moon Pies. If you have never had an authentic Moon Pie you are missing out. Recently they just got in Nips candy which had been purchased by Brach's and unavailable for about a year and a half. I love the coffee flavor but caramel and butter rum are also available. The real thing that makes this place so special is the owner. Jay is so warm and personable. He makes you feel so welcome no matter how much you spend. Run don't walk to this amazing gem! read more

I went into Buckeye Candy Company in Gahanna for some sweet treats. There's so much to look at and I wanted one of everything. I got some holiday gummies for work, and some mini jawbreakers and Astro pops, nostalgia candy for me. I also checked out their Cadbury section. Did you know that in the US to sell chocolate there only needs to be 10% chocolate? In Europe to sell it must be 20% chocolate to sell. So I'm gonna try some of their Cadbury chocolate. Yum. Absolutely the best candy store! A huge selection. Fair prices. Fun stuff. However, the owner is a bit up tight. He makes it not so enjoyable to shop there. He is so panicked that a child might hurt a shelf, knock something over, or God forbid touch candy-that it is almost stressful to be in there. There were what seemed like endless flavors of cotton candy, and saltwater taffy. My original quest was for a Zagnut candy bar. I went in on that mission, but with two kiddos in tow, we walked out with everything from taffy to gummy unicorns. One of my biggest concerns at candy stores is that the candy can be older sometimes, but everything we had from this place was very fresh! I decided to visit Buckeye Candy Store because I kept seeing cool ads on Facebook for unique candies they carry. I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to find some things for my 12 year old's Easter Basket that you can't find just anywhere. I was not disappointed! The parking signs out front state there is a 20 minute limit, but to look at everything they have, that's not long enough, lol. They have so many trendy items, like emoji suckers, candy pizza and tacos, to vintage candies like Astro Pops and Candy Cigarettes! They have a large selection of cotton candy flavors, including Bacon and Trump Hair. And for the not faint of heart, there are candied and flavored bugs and worms! I love shopping local, and for that hard to buy for person in your life, how can you go wrong with CANDY!? Needless to say, my kiddo LOVED the things I selected, and we can't wait to visit again. I would give this candy store a 100/5 stars for sure. I'm lucky enough to work really close to the shop and it's always an experience to go see what's new. They update it so often! The owner, Jay, is one of the most personable business owners I've ever met! He's always down to help me find something sweet with whatever I'm in the mood for. My brother is dairy free, and he's always helping me with that too! Every time I go, which is often, I get something new, and a new experience as well! They have an edible grass in stock as of recent, and it's to put in Easter baskets for kids, and I had to try it. It was lovely! From Harry Potter themed candies straight from Universal to throwback candies you can't find anywhere else anymore, I wouldn't go to any other candy store. I downloaded yelp just to post this review!
