A selection of some of what you can get

I became aware of this through TGTG. What's not to like. Brownies....edges. The building sits behind the others fronting Westbourne. My initial frustration finding the business was dispersed from the friendly welcome and an invite to not only try the samples, but take them. I am an excellent baker and these are every bit as good as mine, except I get in a rut of baking the same old things. My TGTG bag was supposed to be 12 to 15 pounds. Nope. It was 18.5 pounds. I got the blonde one. We made it to the car before we had to have another one. After all it was a long trip home, 2 miles. Someone complained about their Brownie Points getting moldy after a few days. THAT is a sign that they aren't full of preservatives. The store does suggest you freeze and put your brownies in an air tight container. I packed mine with my vacuum sealer. With my free samples, I have at least 20 pounds. Just the right size to nibble on. And they are really tasty if you want to gift them or use them for corporate events.

Sweet treat sampler - I think

We received a Brownie Points Inc assorted Easter treat box in the mail from my husband's boss, how sweet is that!? The packaging had bold text, "Perishable/Fragile and Enjoy now or freeze until ready to serve" so we opened it right away to see what was inside... duh :) The treat box was packaged in a beautiful polka dot box with a bright yellow bow. Inside, were a vast variety of treats with over 15 items in there! From chocolate chip cookies and cream, to rainbow sorbet gourmet popcorn, chocolate caramel crunch brownie, white & milk chocolate covered pretzels, Easter themed chocolate covered bunny, and MORE. I had the chocolate covered pretzels first and they tasted fresh! I like the chocolate drizzle and how each item is individually wrapped. I can't wait to try the chocolate caramel crunch brownie because it looks amazing. On their main page of their website I noticed they have a blurb stating, "Brownie Points is committed to keeping everyone safe from COVID-19. We are continuing to enforce our strict public health policies and procedures in accordance with the FDA." This is so important during these times and great to see that they are openly communicating their efforts to keep everyone safe! This box is adorable, tasty, and I'll be keeping Brownie Points in mind for future gifts to send!

    Bourbon Boozies Brownies! Elegantly Boxed!

I have now made a half dozen orders with Brownie Points in the last month. I gave them as gifts and for myself. All my recipient friends and family either called, texted or emailed me how much they enjoyed the gifts. The brownies are very tasty and come in many varieties for all occasions. I gave some birthday, some house warming, and some boozies for a friend who enjoys bourbon! He said the bourbon Brownies complemented his Blanton's Kentucky Bourbon. As you see in the Picture, the brownies come wrapped in a cute box with colorful ribbon and In the summer now are shipped with cold packs and sent 2 day air for $5 (wow!!) anywhere in the continental USA. I cannot recommend them more highly as the owners Lisa and Lisa are very customer focused on your complete satisfaction.

I won a giveaway for a chocolate lovers gift box from brownie points, and let me just say, even though I was introduced to their delicious brownies for free, tasting them absolutely have me back as a paying customer to try them again. Their mini brownies are fudgy and gooey to the MAX, the way a brownie should be, 10/10 from me.

Bites of Heaven from Brownie Points

Individually wrapped bites of pure heaven. Little treats in our Wedding hospitality suite throughout the weekend. Never knew family would be more focused on the brownies than me The simplest way to put a smile in your day. And they have those too!

    Everything looks great!

Wow. The baked goods are all picture perfect and packaged individually. The brownies I ordered were all frozen and thawed out to this amazing, soft, moist flavorful, rich things ever. It was a little confusing when I arrived--I thought I was at the wrong place, it just looked like a dock/manufacturing location. The signs are not totally clear but just follow the address and open the door. Everyone was very friendly and gave me a run down on how their business works/what products I could order. They aren't cheap but htey are worth every penny. I picked up some for a client and they absolutely loved them as well. I need to make myself another excuse to be in that area so I can pick up more...

OMG! Brownie Points are delicious!!! I placed an order was a little taking back by the shipping cost. I went back and forward...it was one of the BEST decision. Just received my order and tried 2 bites...I'm in love!!! I'm going to order as a gift for sister...it will be a nice surprise. Small bites size are perfect!!! Customer Service is excellent and website is a great representation of Brownies Points!!

Great meals with philosophical friends (2 of 2)…read more Rarely am I in Midwestern capital cities with beltways around them, but I do have a few friends from years ago who do live in this city's suburbs. I once ate at their famed German restaurant with the lunch buffet and the extra cost cream puffs with an Italian-American friend who is sort of an Archie Bunker with an MBA. He provides the entertainment. The last time I ate lunch in C-bus with that good friend was before the pandemic. I believe that the lunch buffet has returned to that German restaurant, but I can wait to do that on some other trip. On this last go round, I met up for lunch with a different friend with whom you can discuss the human condition ad nauseam, which is somewhat of a good thing. It's a good thing because there aren't many people who are capable of doing that and who will engage in that. However, when you wrap up such involved discussions, you might feel a little overwhelmed for a while! I got to choose the restaurant ... from out of town. I didn't like the choices with which I was presented and the only area of town I really know is the Polaris area around Ikea. I looked up listings and recommendations. Chocolate Cafe' had two things under its belt from the get-go. It's a high scoring bistro-cafe that has a noteworthy breakfast and lunch following and it has the word "chocolate" in its name. It's in that area near the Barnes and Noble west of the big state university with its logo featuring a branch that looks like a marijuana leaf. I have since learned it's not a marijuana leaf. We ordered lunch, with one entree being a Cobb salad and the other being one of their club sandwiches, the latter of which was mine. It was very good and, as is often the case with me, I could have eaten a bigger sandwich. I went through it fairly quickly, even though I did have the small and cheap Swedish breakfast at Ikea that morning. With the entrees, we ordered bowls of their popular tomato basil soup, which really hit the spot on that cold day. To drink, we ordered house coffee and a hot chocolate. The house coffee is refillable while the hot chocolate is not, but that's standard protocol just about anywhere. With a name like Chocolate Cafe,' we did not order dessert. My friend left first and I stayed behind to look at the dessert case. I later caved in for a slice of their moist and rich chocolate fudge cake to take with me. Like I said, it was moist and rich ... and also very tasty and filling. The pricing here is standard and appropriate. The service was folksy and very attentive, despite their being full on a weekend approaching the holidays. The interior is bright because of the floor-to-ceiling windows around the perimeter of the restaurant. That really scores points with me. Lastly, upon pulling in, the parking lot was full and I had to park a short walk away, all the while paying attention to parking signs and rules. This implied that Chocolate Cafe' was most likely a good place ... and that was corroborated. I have never driven down I-71 into this city's center once past its beltway. I have doglegged and taken Highway 315 - the Olentangy River Parkway. At its top end, it winds a little and it's slightly scenic. As you start approaching OSU, all these different medical towers with different specialties loom over you ... from both sides of the road! It's similar to the feeling one gets when they drive past the Texas Medical Center south of downtown Houston, as in, "What a maze ... why so many damn medical buildings?" But that doesn't affect their rating. It's just a personal pet peeve. I'm going to go with 4.5 stars for Chocolate Cafe', which obviously rounds up to 5 stars. It makes for an interesting meal and experience and, while I would not repeat it like clockwork because of how rich it can be, I could definitely see repeating it if I lived in its general area. My friend said he would be coming back with family members. That said, you clearly see two seals of approval.

My absolute go-to is their chocolate espresso martini -- and it never disappoints. The chocolate-rimmed glass instantly sets it apart from anywhere else, and every sip is the perfect balance of rich chocolate and bold espresso. It's smooth, indulgent, and honestly feels like dessert in a glass. The price point is great too, which makes it even easier to treat yourself. I also love picking up a few of their smaller desserts like the buckeyes and chocolate peanut butter pretzels. They're decadent, satisfying, and made with love. Their cakes and other items are beautifully made as well. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really adds to the overall experience. They also offer a variety of food entrées that I haven't tried yet, but every dish I see coming out to nearby tables looks fresh, beautifully plated, and incredibly tempting. It's definitely next on my list.

The display of chocolates was completely mesmerizing and contained a wide variety of truffles and handmade candy bars. The shop owner was very friendly and also gave recommendations on what to try. I tried only two truffles because I was so full from all the foods I tried before: Lavender Hand Rolled Truffle: The truffle itself was very dense and rich with a strong presence of cocoa. Every bite melted in my mouth just like any good quality chocolate. What ruined this one was the lavender flavoring which was so overpowering that all I could taste was cocoa and lavender. Vietnamese Cinnamon Hand Rolled Truffle: I really enjoyed this one. The cinnamon and honey in the truffle paired perfectly with the strong cocoa flavor and the chocolate itself was very rich. If I was ever in the area again, I would probably come by to try their handmade candy bars and white chocolate items.
