The ambiance was a little different from what I expected based on the type of food being served. To me, the interior felt more like a casual BBQ style restaurant than the atmosphere I had imagined for the menu. That said, the service was impeccable from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Homestyle Cornbread, which is baked and then fried. I loved the contrast. The outside had a great crunch while the inside stayed soft and moist. It was a really good way to start the meal. For my main course, I ordered the clams with ground chorizo sausage. I never would have thought to pair clams with such a rich and flavorful broth, but it absolutely worked. The chorizo added so much depth, and I enjoyed every bit of the dish. My husband ordered the pork loin, and I have no idea what they did to it, but it was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. It was also packed with flavor. I tried a bite and thought it was delicious. For dessert, we shared the whipped cream with berries. It was light and pleasant, although compared with the rest of the meal, I did not find it particularly memorable. Overall, the food and service were the highlights of the evening. Even though the atmosphere was not quite what I expected, we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely consider coming back.

There's street parking and the restaurant is clean, spacious, and it's got charm. Service was quick and staff were very helpful! We ordered brisket and since we came on a weekend day we also got the beef rib and beef cheeks. Sides were elote style corn and lemon poppy slaw. Meat was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and fell off the bone. Easy to just pull apart and melt in your mouth. I will say the beef cheeks and beef rib are very rich and fatty but they were delicious! The corn was okay but I really liked the lemon poppy slaw! It was refreshing, flavorful, and a perfect side to the meat.

Jalapeño sausage could have been served warmer. The good: the lemon poppy slaw was delicious. Crisp, citrusy, a great bite with some of the fattier meats. The pomegranate pork belly was the star of the show. Great flavorful bite. Location is a bit difficult for anyone with accessibility needs. Parking is hard to navigate. Sometimes the seating gets a bit crowded and hard to maneuver for anyone using a mobility device or with mobility issues.

It's an order from the counter experience with two places to order, and bars with great beer options. The outdoor space is incredibly vast so make sure your kids bring stuff to play with so they can't stay busy for a long time. The chicken curry dish was flavorful and a wonderful recommendation from the lady who took our order. Also the halumi and melon salad was great, but I wish it had more melon. I'd rather there be more melon than lettuce in a halumi and melon salad. Everything is $20 a plate or more.

He enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich and the fries, but he wished the fries had more seasoning on them. I thought they were really good as usual. I had the wings / no sauce on them, which were lacking any seasoning on the meat at all, I ordered the barbecue sauce on the side, which tasted like a puréed ketchup or tomatoes with a little bit of barbecue sauce mixed in. Not very good. It also came with blue cheese dipping sauce that had little to no flavor, as far as blue cheese. The beer selection was quite good, we each had a beer, it was nice to see that Georgetown Bodizahfa has a fresh hop version. Service was the same where you order at the counter, and they buzz you when your order is ready. Love the ambience here, the rustic outdoor feel, as we sat on the patio and enjoyed our lunch.
