I got an iced Spanish latte with an extra shot of espresso and the young lady behind the counter basically just gave me a cup of milk. It didn't taste anything like coffee. When hearing heard of this location, we obviously had to explore it and add it to our page. Located inParamount, CA, Gracias Cafecito brings in their Latin culture into their lattes! We ordered a hot Brown Sugar Latte with oat milk. The drink had a light sweetness that had a warm brown sugar sensation. The drink had a milkier taste with the added kick of espresso to wake you up. This drink is known to be their most popular, and it did satisfy. The sweetness of the coffee appears at the end, so it seems to sit at the bottom. We recommend mixing when drinking! We also ordered a hot Spicy Mexican Mocha with oat milk. This drink was the most advertised in their shop. This latte is what sets apart Gracias Cafecito to other locations. The drink didn't taste spicy...at first. It wasn't a sweet drink. Instead, it tasted savory. It was like drinking espresso with cooking spices, which makes sense since they use chili powder. It was a unique drink, something we've never experienced before. Reaching the end of the drink is where the chili had its kick, so stir the drink or be aware that the end will be picante. For pastries, we ordered the Apple Empanada. It tasted like a soft, flaky apple pie! Definitely would get it again. This coffee shop is family owned business and their customer service was so pleasant and respectful. They were very helpful explaining to us their flavors, how they operate, and about their coffee. They're a Mexican and Peruvian family, so we're expecting a mix of culture in their drinks! First time here. I stopped by as I am wanting to support local businesses and bonus being a Latin based company. The cashier did not look happy to be there. I ordered a iced spicy mexican mocha. i asked what pastries she had. She asked like what do you mean. i informed her of the flavors. she explained the guava and cheese crossiant, which is her favorit, blueberry and cheese, cheese, strawberry and cheese crossiants. i ended up ordering guava and cheese. I sit down and then two young ladies walk in. the cashiers demeanor changed, and she walked around gave them hugs and then took their orders. her take with them versus with me was night and day. the drink...i have hint of spicyl. the chocolate was a bitter sweet flavor which I liked. the croissant...though it looked great, tasted very artificial. the guava portion of the pastry tasted and looked jelly/gel like. there was not much "cheese" or cream cheese in it. read more

Stopped by here randomly because I needed a pick me up and googled coffee shops on my way to do errands. Wanted to support small businesses instead of Starbucks as well. The place is super spacious and would be a great space for reading, studying, work, or even a little lunch or snack break or date. In addition to their drinks, they also have breakfast and snack sandwiches. I didn't get one this time, but would definitely be interested in trying it. I was the only person in there when I stopped by so service was quick and satisfactory. The staff were nice as they took my order and handed me my drink. I was greeted right upon entering, the environment here is very welcoming and inviting. There is plenty of seating so it's a great space to study or have a coffee with friends. don't usually write reviews, but I had such an upsetting experience today that I feel it's important to share. I came into this coffee shop hoping to enjoy a drink I've had before, but couldn't remember the exact name. Instead of being met with patience or helpfulness, I was met with unnecessary attitude and rudeness. The barista told me, "Well if you don't know, then I don't know," which made me feel like a burden for simply asking for help navigating their menu. The drink I received was nothing like what I've had before--burnt, bitter, barely any cold foam, and completely lacking flavor. It was also overpriced for the quality. When I politely tried to address the issue, what seemed to be the owner or a family member jumped in with more attitude, rather than trying to make it right. I was shocked by how unprofessional and dismissive the service was. When I brought it up, I was basically told 'you can go, I'll refund you What makes this even more disappointing is that I truly believe in supporting Latino-owned businesses and take pride in doing so--but that doesn't excuse poor customer service. I walked in yesterday and I have to say the customer service was horrible. I'm pretty sure it's latino family owned which is a shame because I cannot support this business. They are not friendly or welcoming and act like you being there is an inconvenience to them. I ordered a matcha latte and a ham&cheese croissant. The matcha latte was pretty good, 6/10. They use Ujii matcha, not super sweet or bitter. Would have liked a bit more matcha flavor. The ham& cheese croissant was nothing extraordinary, your usual croissant. Overall, very nice place to talk and hangout at! And plenty of parking!
