My new go to place since all the threading ladies I liked at beauty by dolly left and they're prices went up.

Had a facial done with Saretta! My experience was awesome she knows what she's doing and definitely has true passion for what she does. I will definitely continue coming here to see her! Go check her out for yourself! read more

I don't remember her name but the lady ( Indian ethnicity) who does the facials is excellent!! Wonderful relaxing facial and for a good price! read more

I come here about every 6 weeks to get my eyebrows threaded. The ladies are really quick to get the job done and do a great job (is that what he said? JK). I have only done one mini-facial and it was also a good experience... I don't know why I never came back, but I should. =) Got a couple of massage sessions for a friend and they thought it was just meh. Oh well, so much for my ungrateful friends! Ha! read more

In terms of eyebrow threading Grace is a bit of a one-trick pony, but it does its trick very, very well. They listen when you tell them what you want, and they give you just what you asked for! The reason I stopped going here is because I realized I didn't know what was right for my eyebrows. They are so good at asking what I want that I had to leave and search for someone that knew what would go best with my face shape and also took into account what I want. I really wish Grace could've been flexible enough to do both these things. If you know exactly how you want your brows to look then go here! You will love it. read more

Best Brazilian wax I've ever had ! Thank you so much Heidi ! Go check her out ! Great & fast service , and walked out happy with amazing results ! read more

I stopped waxing and now get threading done when my brows were screaming "groom me". I work out in Kearny Mesa and usually venture towards Mission/Fashion Valley area if I am in dire need for a thread. Today was that day, but on this day ~ I just headed North and decided to try out Grace Threading in Scripps Ranch. I didn't even check out Yelp first to see what the thoughts were out there, I just went. I was happy I went and was pleased with the service. Gosh I didnt even get the gals name - but she did well, took her time, verified if I wanted straight or arch. (I said Arch of course!). The prices was reasonable, 10.00 for a brow thread - I frequent the Brow Thread places @ the mall which cost 15.00...but will be going to Grace since I can get it done during my lunch hour from work. OH! She even gave me a quick massage around my forehead when she was finished....ahhh, I needed that too!!! Lunchtime may get busy....so the gal advised I call in when I'm on my way and they can save me a spot since i'll be on a time-sensitive mission. Score! I may try the mini-facial sometime..... read more

I've gone to other places for eyebrow threading before (in stores around Black Mountain Road) and they totally messed up my eyebrows. They over-threaded them and then tried to fix it but my eyebrows were embarrassingly uneven for awhile. After that, I was desperate to find a good threading place that doesn't overcharge. That's when I found this place. I met the owner when she was still working at some small salon off Carroll Canyon Road and she did such a fabulous job that I followed her to her own business: Grace Threading. I've been going here for over a year now. Grace threading offers quality and care that no other threading places I've tried can match. They don't rush through the threading and make sure that the customer likes the shape before they finish up. I haven't tried any of their other beauty services but highly recommend this place for threading. read more

Been here 3 times to get my brows threaded. What I do like about it is it there is not a wait, and pretty clean. I had my brows threaded previously somewhere else and really like the shape, so just wanted a clean up. Got home and had to pluck some. Next time the threader left a whole patch. I guess she was trying to let part of the brow grow back in but it looked bad. Third time I was frustrated and said "take the inner corner OFF" yea I know that goes against brow shaping rules but it was what I wanted. She argued with me and left it. Also it HURT really bad this time and I'm not sure why. Tears were streaming down my face. So, I have given up threading and am back to waxing I like it better and doesn't hurt so bad. read more

I've been going to Grace Threading since its opening for brow threading and tinting. In the last year or so I also started to get facials with Anna. She is the BEST! She does an excellent job and I always feel very spoiled and that the facials are customized just for me. Anna is also very knowledgeable. The 35 minute European facial feels like an hour. I've referred many of my friends here for their hair removal and skin care. read more

Shiva Yusor has great customer service. I can tell she's personable with her customers. She pays attention to what the customer wants. My go-to person is Parveen. She's very personable and detail oriented. She's rarely at this location. She's usually at the Hillcrest location. read more

Been coming here for over a year. I love how professional they are and their great pricing. Lara is amazing!! She's there M-F from 10-3 i believe. I won't go anywhere else! read more

This place is a great place, Preeti who did my eyebrows was very friendly and did a great job. Other than the great service the ambiance was great as well..it was nice to get by eyebrows threaded while listening to calm relaxing sounds. I will definitely go back here and next time I go back I'm going to get a facial! GREAT PRICES TOO!!! read more

For a total of 2 hours and a hundred bucks, every 6 weeks or so I visit Cipika at Grace Threading to get leg waxing, eyebrow threading, a facial and full-body massage. What I like most about Grace Threading is Cipika. Cipika understands skin. She is able to administer various skin treatments like facials, head and neck and full-body massages, or waxing and threading. I also recognize that she is mindful of adhering to cleanliness, and she is continuously open to developing new and better experiences for her customers. More importantly, Cipika is very personable and is absolutely passionate about what she does for us ladies who need to get their legs done and body did. With that in mind, she has the most well-trained staff working beside her to reduce some of the load. I seriously count down the days until I visit again for more pain and pleasure... just the way I likes it! read more

I was sorely behind in keeping up both my brow waxing and facial waxing. I'm completely unfamiliar with the area as I was just here visiting. I found this when I searched on Yelp for a hair removal salon, hoping to find one that took walk-ins. I called to see if they'd have room for me and she said yes. I've never had threading done before and wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only is it faster than waxing, but I didn't have the oily wax remover all over my face. There was very little irritation at all. I don't get to San Diego often, but I know I'll make sure to visit Grace Threading on almost every visit. I wish I had discovered threading YEARS ago! read more

Been here several times. I've been happy with the result each visit. I much prefer threading over waxing because I can walk out and carry-on with my day without all the redness that comes with waxing. The people are very nice. It can get crowded so I try to go on a weekday before most are off work. I have gotten small cuts a few times from the string. It seems to be more common with the less experienced threaders (is that a word?). No big deal, but not ideal. read more

I have been getting facials here for a while and if you can, ask for Heidi! She is super friendly and she gives you amazing skin care tips! My younger sister has started getting facials from her as well and loves her! I also have started getting Brazilian waxes from Heidi and she is awesome. She makes you feel so at ease and especially for my first time she really explained to me what was happening and made me feel very comfortable. read more

Yikes! They raised their prices again! I've been going here since they opened. It started at $10, then $11, now recently $12. Might have to look somewhere else =( read more

Been coming here for years and I don't know why I didn't leave a review earlier. I've been growing out my eyebrows for 3 months and I came here to keep my natural shape but really clean up the caterpillar on my face. Every woman that works here is always so polite and is amazing at their job! No judgements on the super hairy brows and they did a phenomenal job! They are always encouraging with their advice on what looks good and encourage to grow the natural shape of your eyebrows. Love it!! read more

Had Neha at Grace come to do Hennas for a teen's bday party. She was so good, fast and patient with all of the kids. Her designs were beautiful and was able to do all of the different designs they asked for. All of the kids loved the hennas and I was very happy with her work. read more

Amazing service. Lara and Narges are artists. I'll definitely come back! The prices are reasonable. They will give you an advice how to shape and apply makeup too. You should try this place. read more

Sonia did a wonderful job with my eyebrows and lips. She was very attentive and my eyebrows have never looked so good.

Update: As time goes by, I can't be happier with the service given by all the Grace Threading staff. I recently was invited to join some of them for lunch during their lunch break. They were having a blend of Indian and Arabic food that day. As I am a pretty plain eater, I was hesitant. But the girls told me I needed to put my big boy pants on and be a little more open minded. Really they said "I needed to be more open to food from different cultures". They were right. They fed me grape leaves stuffed with rice, beef, and a little onion. Lunch was delicious. You may ask what does this have to do with eyebrow threading or their many other services. Really nothing. Their work speaks for itself, they are the best. But what I am getting at by telling you about lunch that day is that when you are client at Grace Threading, they really treat you like a friend. And that is really hard to find nowadays. I still wouldn't go anywhere else for my eyebrow maintenance. Fun fact: Parveen (The Brightest Star in the Sky)is expecting a new edition to her family. If you go in, be sure to congratulate her. I'm hopeful they will name the little one Ohm-G ("G" for Gary), but we will have to wait and see. read more

I donno about the place much, but today I went for my full body wax. HEIDI is the BEST. She did my waxing in 1n half hours without hurting me too much. She has the skill to give good service and good customer service. I will be definitely going back for waxing. And I need to giv2 a try for threading (I'm so picky if it comes to threading coz I'm my self a Threader but cannot do for my self) . Let's see. Thanks Heidi. read more

After reading the reviews for Grace's, I decided to check it out. I have been going to Beauty by Dolly for a few years but wanted to experience something new (especially the facial massage). When I walked in on a Wed afternoon, it was totally empty, so I didn't have to wait, which was nice. However, I was very disappointed with the fact the girl who did my threading was so quick and missed so many easy to grab hairs. At Dolly's, I have found them to be perfectionist...here, not so much. Plus, I did not experience any sort of massage; I was actually in and out in about 10 minutes, which was pretty disappointing because it showed she didn't take the time to remove all hairs. After paying and leaving the salon and checking my brows in the car mirror I actually walked back in and requested she clean them up more. I was really unhappy! She didn't have a problem doing it, and was surprised that I wanted a "cleaner job." In the end, I would rather pay a few $ more and wait a few more minutes and stick with Dolly. The buy 10 get 1 free card is great, but not worth it if the quality of service isn't great. read more

I had heard about threading and wanted to try it verses waxing. I give the salon 4 stars, but I can't say I'm so keen on the actual 'threading' itself! The salon is spacious, nicely decorated and clean with relaxing music. I waited 5-10 minutes as there were 2 people in the chairs ahead of me. The threading itself is much more painful than waxing and I found it strange that I was asked to lift up the skin above and below my brow while the tech did the threading. The result was pleasing, although I don't see much difference compared to waxing. One downside to the salon is that the chairs are not in a private room. ie. You are on show to those waiting and people walking by the salon. Something to keep in mind if you're the self-conscious type. The price at $10 (March 2012) is less than waxing at higher-end salons. read more

I normally stroll in here after work/shopping at Trader Joes. It's a hit and miss with this place. My go to girl is Sima, she's awesome to talk to, but she does tend to over-thread so make sure that you re-iterate the fact that you don't want your eyebrows thinned. The pricing is reasonable. They(the ladies who work there) often get impatient with each other which makes the atmosphere rather awkward. read more

I've been coming to Grace Threading for years and I'm never disappointed. You can just walk in and there's never a long wait. I've never made an appointment, but I almost always see Lara. She's my absolute favorite. She knows just how I like my eyebrows and is super quick and very fruendky. I highly recommend trying to get Lara if you go in. If she's with someone else or not there, all the other girls are really sweet and very good as well. The price points for Grace are great and they even offer stamp cards. If you fill up 10 stamps you get a free brow threading. read more

I used to come to Grace Threading pretty regularly for facials. I had to move up to OC for work but I still drive all the way down to SD just to get my facials from GT. They are that good!! Today Heidi did my acne facial and underarm waxing and she was nothing short of amazing. I've had really bad breakouts recently and went with the 70 mins acne facial. I always come out knowing that the pain of extractions is worth the great results and the great skin after. :) I will continue to come back and I would definitely recommend them! read more
