New Look is a kind of salon within a salon at GG's Hair Extensions and Braiding (which I aslo reviewed). I'm not a girly girl by any shake of the imagination. My eyebrows are both unruly and sparse...thanks Mom. But, I usually just kinda let that stuff go, it's just not on my radar. I would never have sought out a threader on my own. Samina is very friendly and since I was already there, I thought, "Why not?" I had my eybrows and full face done. Evidently I'm a Sasquatch. I didn't know I was that hairy! It was very eye opening. All in all, I personally think threading is better than wax, especially for those of us with with crazy, patchy facial hair. It can be a bit painful, but Samina is caring and checks on you while she's making you beautifu. After she was done she gave me a face massage which helped a lot. I highly recommend her to anyone. So I wanted to get my eyebrows done before I left for my trip to Texas, so I called this place and Samina was able to fit me in her schedule. I arrived and was a little lost but once I called her again, she came out herself to look for me. I don't really know a lot about eyebrows or make up and anything beauty related but during the session she was explaining to me what shape would look good on me and what to do and not to do when it comes to eyebrows. She was so sweet and doesn't charge that much at all for her threading, she is also very gentle so it doesn't even hurt at all.
