I got mine and my daughters dress done with grace and my daughters dress turned out PERFECT. My dress had a lot of alterations, we added sleeves which came out perfect, we added a belt, which came out amazing. The downfall to the alterations done to my dress was that I paid $90 for three bustles for my tail and two of the bustles broke off my dress before my first dance. My dress was pretty expensive so it was multilayered so once one broke off the tail was down for the rest of the night. I was holding my dress up the entire time I dance it was ridiculous that 2 hours into my wedding I was dragging my tail when I paid for three bustles to last me all night. They where super nice and we did everything perfect for my daughters dress but now my wedding photos are of a dirty dress being held in my hand. read more

Wonderful experience! I worked with Grace Tailors to fit my wedding gown and add draped sleeves. The result was perfect, and I received so many compliments on the added sleeves! When the fabric I brought in didn't quite look right, Grace pulled out some scraps from an alteration she had completed on another wedding gown and let me use the fabric at no cost. The fabric was perfect! In addition to that, my dress fit like a glove. There was quite a complicated lace hemline that she masterfully shortened at a very reasonable price. It was so fun coming in for fittings because the ladies who worked there were very excited to see my dress come together! When I went to other tailors I was charged so much and told that what I wanted fixed was not worth it, and these were things I refused to just let go because they just need small alterations. so I took them to Grace and she fixed them up so nicely. the best was when I was in a wedding and me and a few other brides maids and the bride had to get our dresses altered, and Grace Tailors saved the day yet again. I've gone here a few times and had great results. However, my recent experiences have been quite disappointing. I had pants altered (I got fitted there) and the waist was taken in about an inch more than measured so obviously they don't fit. And she shortened a dress about 3 inches shorter than specified. I searched extensively for an alteration service in the area and, after reading reviews and asking folks around, decided to give it a try. Most of my suits and jackets are high dollar items. Some costs thousands each. So it is natual for me to be skeptical about who will be working on them. The lady looked at my Italian coat and knew immediately the work involved to have it adjusted to fit my aged body shape. She spent much time measuring me, it almost felt like she was about to design a brand new custom suit. The whole time she made me feel as if she had known me for a long time. Very kind. When it was due for pick up, she really really impressed me by miles. What an work of art she had done! I mean the fit, form, function all were as if the coat just came out of design store where I got it from. No trace I could notice that it had gone through the alteration service. This is best tailor place I have ever been to. First of all, the owner, Grace, is so kind, professional, and smart. She knows exactly how to hem clothes without even trying them on. She is also really fast! I take all my clothes to her and she is always done in record time. The last time I used her, I took this hideous bridesmaid's dress for her to hem. The dress was at least four sizes too big and she was able to make it fit like a glove. All the other tailors I had taken the dress to had told me it was too hard to sew-not Grace! When it comes to sewing she is the best in town! I would trust her with any piece of clothing I own!!!!!! Overpriced and under-delivered. Had a custom wedding blouse tailored, but they did not fix issues and charged me an exorbitant amount to do it. After paying over $130 for alterations, I took it to another tailor in Cherry Creek who charged a similar amount, but did a perfect adjustment - he had me come in every day to try it on, adjust, fit, etc. until he got it just right.
