RUINED A 1940's FAMILY HEIRLOOM *Would rate as 0 if an option* I brought in my late grandmother's 1940's cocktail dress; black silk with San Francisco style pleats on top, shoulder rested straps with tasteful scoop on front and mild V cut on back, silk bottom with sheer black over lay and hem lined with real Ostrich Feather. She gave this to me many years ago to wear to my Senior Prom, I wanted to have it cleaned to wear to her Funeral. Prior to taking it in, it had some dust from the 80 years of life, but looked amazing still. I brought it in two weeks before the funeral (which is this Monday 9/28/20200), the first time I picked it up there was no change to the cleanliness or appearance at all. I asked for my $40 back so I could take it elsewhere since I only had a week left to get the dress in order. He insisted he would make it right, asked to give him until Friday (the weekend before Funeral) and assured me it would be right. When I picked it up on Friday 9/25/2020, the dress was dustier than in my closet and RUINED! There is a hole is the bottom front side of skirt, wrinkled beyond belief, the dust that originally was only on the arm pits and seam between the top and bottom is now everywhere! The fabric also feels as though its at any moment is going to curmble. I am ashamed to wear this once amazing piece of history to lay my grandmother to rest. Forgot to mention, I also had just picked it up from the tailor, immediately before taking to be cleaned, so it would fit me like it once did and look fresh. To further give you a better sense of how treasured this dress was to me, and the effort put into reviving it to pay homage to my Grandmother and her priceless (irreplaceable) vintage dress. I asked for my money back, he walked away from me, turned the volume up on his radio and ignored me. I refused to leave and kept asking for a refund, completely frustrated and so upset at this point. He finally comes back and says to me "My english is not so good, I don't know what your saying"!! Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone who has items of value! read more

I have been using this cleaners for the past 6 months, and we are very pleased. All the work has been great and there has been zero damage to any of our clothing. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they appreciate our business. It is convenient to where I live and the hours are great for anyone that commutes to work (they stay open until 7pm.) They are by FAR more reasonable cost-wise than a cleaners that I tried in Stapleton off Martin Luther King. I was even short a couple of dollars in cash the other day because I did not know how much my husband had dropped off, and the super nice guy that works in there told me not to worry about it. I insisted that I leave one piece and come back for it with the additional $3...he insisted that I take all of my pieces and have a great evening. I really appreciate that and they earned my repeat business! They also do alterations there, but I cannot speak to the quality of that work yet. We will have them hem a few pants in the very near future, and I will give an update. The only reason that I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not accept credit cards - cash or check only. Parking is always very easy to find as well. read more

My cleaners! Extremely convenient for the Park Hill neighborhood. They use all environmentally-friendly chemicals, and my clothes are always in great shape when I pick up my order. What's more, they're reasonably priced (screw you, Dependable Cleaners and Paradise Cleaners! *shakes fist*). read more

I have been coming to this place for over a year now, and I have yet to have one broken button or rip in a shirt. Before I started using Eco-Friendly Cleaners, I would have a damaged shirt at least every two weeks. This place is great, their work is always complete and the prices are fair. I had two sweaters with small holes near the seams. I brought them in on a Tuesday to have them fixed and cleaned. I was given the slip to pick them up on Friday. I came back Saturday at noon and gave him my ticket. He frantically was looking around and I knew something wasn't right. He said, "Monday?". I told him, "No I am going out of town I need this today." He said, "Monday?". I said, "NO this says they are done Friday, I need them." So he says, "Color?" and begins showing me all the red sweaters he had in the store. None were mine. He then says, "after 5 today?". At this point, I was really frustrated and said, "No I really want my sweaters back now." He told me, "Off sight". I said, "There are not even here? Where are they? I would like them back." (I assumed they were there as there are sewing machines and dry cleaning equipment there) So I waited an hour for my sweaters to be brought back from an off-sight place, but I needed them for an out of town dinner. They were fixed but still dirty and smelled like a house with cigarettes. So I went home and had to clean them. It was a waste of my time. They didn't seem to be organized and for a while I was worried they lost my clothing. They told me Friday and obviously were far from that as the sweaters were not there nor cleaned. Honor your commitment or notify the customer. Would not recommend. read more

$40 to hem a cotton maxi dress. That is outrageous. Very nice people and I've had my clothes cleaned there before and they do a good job. Just don't use any of their other services, way overpriced. read more

I've come to this cleaners 3 times now, twice for dress shirts and once for a suit. I will admit that the man running the counter can be difficult to understand some times, but I've never had an issue. Typically I've been able to drop something off and have it back within a week. I think the best aspect of this cleaners is the price. My two piece suit only ran $9 to have cleaned. Please note though, that they only take cash or check. read more

First timer for this place...I don't use a dry cleaner much at all, but they took care of me...even found some cuff links for me to use with a shirt I had...great price for the dry cleaning...awesome... Only thing I would add is that they only take cash or checks...no biggie, though... read more

My wife and I have been using Eco Friendly Cleaners for about two years without any issues. We liked the idea of a small, family run business that's in our neighborhood and their prices were hard to beat. I've now learned that their low prices have a hidden cost, they refused to pay for a shirt that they ruined. I noticed that one of my dress shirts had two dime-sized tears in the back (large enough that you would have known it happened while wearing the shirt). I took the shirt back and after several minutes of going back and forth they finally agreed to pay for the shirt. Once I told them the price of the shirt the story changed. I even offered to buy a new shirt and bring them the receipt. The older gentleman I was working with went into the back and grabbed someone else that he said washed all of the clothes at that store. According to the clothes washer, he remembered my plain white dress shirt from two weeks ago having a tear in the back. Really! You remembered one white dress shirt among the thousands of articles of clothing that go through that place? I am now looking for another dry cleaner. read more

Terrible cleaners. They have ruined a number of our clothing items and laundered shirts, and have lost other items. They flatly refused to do anything about any of the items. Often out shirts would come home with new stains, probably from their machinery. Sad, because I like to use local businesses. read more

I could not be more disappointed or upset with the people and service from Eco Friendly Cleaners. I just moved to Denver and the Park Hill area and was so happy to find an environmentally friendly cleaner so close to my house. I came here several times, although the 9th or 10th visit was today. I noticed that there was a note on one my shirts that stated "sorry." My favorite shirt that I bought in London had a huge orange stain on the front. They said that they found something in the shirt pocket and this caused the stain. I asked what it was and they couldn't tell me or show me what it was. I pointed out that I lay the shirts out when I bring them in so that we can look at them together specifically to avoid this sort of problem. This stain was not there when I brought it in and there was nothing in the pocket. They were not concerned and merely shrugged their shoulders and went to the next person in line. I asked what they could to help remove this and they said nothing and continued to ignore me. I have never been treated so rudely nor had something like this happen at any dry cleaning in the world. Save your clothes and go somewhere else! I should have reviewed this place online first. I just found an almost identical review on Google Reviews.
