I made multiple attempts to rectify this situation with corporate and the manager but no assistance was provided. UPDATE - Theresa reached out after seeing this post, please see below... I dropped off my bridesmaid dress with one food stain in September 2018 with the intention to sell it. I didn't check the dress when I picked it up, but kept it in my bedroom closet fully encased in the plastic bag with every intention of posting pictures to Poshmark. Fast forward to July, I finally get the dress out to post and I see dozens of dark stains. There is no reasonable way this could have happened in my care; the dry cleaning bag was untouched and the closet isn't exposed to anything stain inducing. The local manager said that due to the length of time the best she could do would be to charge me an additional $12 to try and get it clean, but in her opinion it would be futile. I'm only asking to be refunded the price of the original dry cleaning service, $24.00, as this dress is now going in the trash. *UPDATE 7/30/2019* A different manager, Theresa, reached out and offered to redo the dress free of charge. What a load -dependable my left foot. Arrived a few minutes to 3:00 on a Saturday to drop 3 items off here. A female employee with glasses and curly hair telling me through the window with a finger slicing motion across her neck (what????) to indicate they were closed. 5 minutes til close and you refuse a customer? Sign on the door and website say they close at 4:00. Correct your signs and get employees that will work a full shift. Luckily this display of poor customer service brought me around the corner to Mayfair Cleaners. Family run, happy to have your business type of establishment. I'll go leave them a 5 star review now. Ridiculously priced and a SCAM to boot!! There are NO POSTED PRICES......HERE'S WHY: The manager will give you a receipt with no prices and distract you in some manner. When you return for pick up HE won't be there , only the very nice lady who will let you know right away that she's not part of the SCAM.....oh no she tells all her customers how their bill will be 3X the cost of other cleaning establishments in the immediate area. She states the Manager may not tell customers the price but she knows it's dishonest to SCAM Senior citizens and Veterans out of their money. Yes she knows.... read more

This has been my go to dry cleaner for many years. A few weeks ago I arrived on a Saturday, moments before they were due to close. I wouldn't have been aware of this, had the manager not run out of the door to tell me that I had four minutes to complete my transaction. I was more than happy to leave my order, however, I had a question about my credit card number on file. The manager stated that she was just trying to get her staff out of there at closing time and seemed reluctant to help me. While I understand that, being in the hospitality business myself, I can't imagine turning away a customer in need. I saw her rush two other people through the checkout process in the meantime. I was tempted to leave, and probably should have, and I will be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. read more

I don't know what I was thinking. It was a snowy February morning in Denver and I had to catch a flight to Sacramento where it was sunny and gorgeous. Naturally, I had no need for a giant winter coat because it would have added to the already insane amount of luggage I was packing. Instead, I grabbed my favorite tweed sports coat thinking it would keep me warm enough to get from the car to the terminal. That work. I'm not sure what possessed me to continue wearing my favorite sports coat as our plane began to take off. In most cases, I would have been fine, but today I was holding a lap child, our sweet baby boy Zephyr. Flying up into the storm clouds, our plane was shaking like a paint can mixer at the hardware store, and my son was a can of soda. Predictably, he vomited. I'm talking copious amounts of vomit. At least 50% of this vomit drenched my sports coat. While the stains weren't too bad, the foul smell of sour milk permeated the whole coat. Since the trip was rushed, I waited until we returned to get it cleaned, taking it to our local Dependable Cleaners. I am very satisfied with the job that they did - you can't even tell that I debated throwing away this same jacket. I used to go to a cheaper cleaner in the area, but you truly pay for what you get. The other place would leave creases in my shirts and had a knack for ruining my collars. You pay more at Dependable, but their name states the obvious: this place is dependable. I never have a complaint with the way my items return and the manager always remembers my name when I come in. It doesn't make any sense to pay good money for clothes only to let some hacks ruin it - that is why I come back to Dependable Cleaners. read more

Theresa, the manger for this store, is amazing. We are part of her loyal following who go out of our way to bring her all of our cleaning and mending. We have had an invasion of small moths that seem to find any expensive cashmere item in our closet with the result of many small holes. Theresa has carefully overseen the mending along with providing detailed ways to prevent this in the future. She inspects each item and in one instant it was not up to her standards. She had it redone for us. I have recommended this store to many of my neighbors, who have joined the march over to the Krameria Street Dependable store. read more

I pulled up on Friday at 3:30 dropping off 4 dress shirts to be cleaned and pressed by Wednesday for family pictures. The girl, Theresa, was super nice and I was in and out. She told me it would be ready Saturday by 3:00 when they close. I passed by at 10:30a on Saturday because I was next door at Wallgreens and the shirts were ready. Different girl at the counter but was equally nice. It cost $20.90 for 4 shirts. I thought it was a little high, but for that quick of service i was ok with it. read more

Our washer and dryer are on the fritz and we are waiting for a part, so we took our essentials here for the drop off wash and fold service. My husband was greeted at the door, and as a new customer he was fully explained the easy procedure of drop off/pick up. When he picked our laundry up we were given a bag with name tag so we can drop off for future use - A+ for sustainability. Shout out to the person who threw in the extra Jack Skellington surprise with our pickup -- it made my entire week and I hope you read this! EXPENSIVE and shoddy service - my first and last visit to Dependable! I figured it had to be good, there were so many of them. I only wish I had read the bad reviews for this particular location. When I dropped of my eight items, I saw a price list and remarked "wow, when did drycleaning get so expensive?" The woman helping me whispered "there's a coupon online." I asked if I could use it when I paid, and she said yes. I printed the coupon and went to pick my items up. Over $80 for pants and pullovers. $10+ per item! I handed the cashier my coupon and she pointed me to the fine print to present the coupon with your incoming order. She explained that the "system" won't let her adjust the price and she is a slave to said system. I said "clearly the system needs to change then." I was told I should read coupons more closely. So, service was lousy, but how about the pricey drycleaning? I specifically asked for no crease on my pants - one came back with a big crease, one had none. No method to this madness. Two of my six sweaters came back folded over a hanger - how I've always had sweaters returned to me. The other four were on wire hangers and have distinct hanger bumps in them that I'm going to have to iron out. ************************************ UPDATE - credit where credit is due. I started to get out of my car and Debbie was already at my window as this is a drive thru Cleaners. I took my favorite clothes recently bought in Europe. Despite care labels in French, everything came back same day looking as good as new. Not a laundry-mat it's full service cleaners which accepts sheets and towels under-ware and socks. This location of Dependable Cleaners is easy to find and has drive through service or a free private lot for those who prefer to go inside. The counter service was friendly and helpful on both the drop-off and the pickup. Quality work was performed and the price they quoted me was the same price I was charged on pickup - the next day. That's some snappy fast service. Off and on through the years I have used this dry cleaners. I would not describe the prices as cheap, but like the old adage goes "you get what you pay for". Extremely expensive- over $29 to get a simple dress dry cleaned (the dress cost $40 new). It was my fault for not inquiring how much it would be when I dropped off the dress- but I had never spent even 1/2 this in the past getting it dry cleaned. Way overpriced- I will never be back. read more

This place was such a massive head scratching heart hurting rip off how is this place still operational? No prices are posted so when you complain about the massive difference of what was quoted when you dropped off (I asked the clerk since I was a first time customer) and you get charged $92 for 7 clothing items you are SOL! You can't do a damn thing at that point unless you give up hope of seeing your clothes ever again. The owner of Dependable cleaners was very quick in handling my situation of what I called highway robbery. He insisted on refunding my $78.02. I did not want a complete refund, he refunded $40.00 in which I feel was more then fare & very generous. So Thank you so very much. I just thought that it was to much for ironing. Awful, unreliable service. I dropped of a garment to be mended and dry cleaned on a Wednesday. I was told by the store manager that the piece would be completed and ready to be picked up the following Wednesday. I hadn't heard from the company by the following Thursday and decided to reach out. I was apologized to and told by an associate that the garment was still at their (off-site) tailor And that they would track it down and get back to me asap. I heard nothing from them until the following Wednesday when i reached out for the 3rd time. My garment was there when i came to get it 2 weeks after, and it was not cleaned like originally discussed. It was a dress i was borrowing and needed to return, so i took the garment home uncleaned. Legitimately, the worst customer service I have ever had.... Took my dress to the shop downtown on 18th. Dress wasn't cleaned properly, so I called them up Friday night (picked up Friday morning and noticed issues that night) and the guy said "No problem, we will clean it again for free but if you want it by tomorrow (Saturday) you have to drop it off at this location because they do all of the cleaning for our store. Get there anytime before 10 am and you can have same day cleaning to be picked up on Saturday afternoon." Great, a little inconvenient, but good customer service so far at the store on 18th. The guy, BJ I think, was friendly, helpful, and good at problem solving with me. I have always had a pleasant experience at the shop downtown so that is not where the problem lies. The next morning there was an accident on our way across town (45 minute drive) right in front of us, so I called this location to let them know that I would be there a couple minutes after 10 am. She argued with me on the phone that the cleaning person HAD to leave by 10 am and could not wait until LITERALLY 10:02 when I would get to the store. The front desk person tried to give the phone to the cleaning person several times, and the cleaning person REFUSED TO TALK TO ME. I arrived at the store and walked in the front door at exactly 10:02, where the front desk person again argued with me for 10 minutes, and then pointed to the clock and said "It's your fault you didn't get here at 10 am and now it's 10:10." She just kept repeating that it wasn't her fault and it was the cleaning person's fault. She tried again to get the cleaning person to come talk to me multiple times and she HID IN THE BACK AND REFUSED TO TALK TO ME. After all this ridiculous arguing and me just wanting my money back at this point the cleaning person finally said that she would clean the dress. (She obviously was there after 10 am, so she could have just cleaned the dress without all of the hassle...) I find it absolutely ridiculous that she felt the need to leave at exactly 10 am, and couldn't wait TWO MINUTES for this dress to be cleaned. It would have been more understandable if I hadn't called at 930 to let them know I was running a couple minutes behind, but it is absolutely ridiculous that she couldn't wait the 2 minutes to start the machine, and it is even more upsetting that she wouldn't come out and talk to me and instead hid in the back like a child. You work in the SERVICE industry. This is not how customer service works. Update: I was contacted by the President and offered a credit on my account. He apologized and stated this was not how they like to run their business. He stated that he went to the store to review the cameras, so I am happy that he at least looked into the situation.
