BUGS - DO NOT COME HERE!!! Upon picking up my dry cleaning I discovered that there were bugs in my cashmere sweater eating holes in the fabric! Luckily the sweater was still in the plastic and had not come into contact with anything else in my closet. I consulted with a pest control agency that told me I was dealing with carpet beetles. An inspection of my home found no other carpet beetles and it was determined that the bugs could not have come from my house. I called the dry cleaner and spoke with a woman on the phone about what I was experiencing. All she had to say was "we've never gotten other complaints so this can't have come from us." My complaint was not taken seriously, she did not take down my name, or make any notes about what I had said. I asked to be called back by a manager, which she said would happen after 2 PM on the same day. I was never called; weeks passed. This place is disgusting, the staff do not care about your property, complaints, or the cleanliness of the facility. Meanwhile I'm out $350 for my sweater. Do NOT take your valuable clothes there!!!! I dropped off two pairs of dress pants to be cleaned and pressed and a formal gown to be cleaned and pressed. A couple days after picking up, I took my gown out and the clips they used damaged the fabric (why wouldn't you just hang it versus clipping it in half!) and two of the stitches to hold the pleats in the top we're popped. Someone at this location stole my Moncler jacket with $2800. The store would want to give me store credit, who would need a store credit from a store like this? I refused, and ask for the same jacket or the amount I paid, then the store manager Jessica Mesa stopped respond my email for over a month. They should at least check cameras all over and see who took the jacket. I would escalate this to the corporate if this could not get resolved. read more

However, I had a bag of clothing that was specifically labeled to be dry cleaned, and they very obviously washed it all including a silk dress and shorts. Good prices but wouldn't recommend having them clean any articles of clothing you really care about. They put labels inside of your clothes that are impossible to take off, and nearly ruined a really nice jacket I have. Update: I finally removed a sticker in an expensive jacket that they put in a really conspicuous place. I used sharp tweezers and worked at it for about an hour. I've used this cleaners for 10-15 years, formerly at the Parker & Yale location but now their location near Hampden & Yosemite. I've always gotten excellent service and results and have had no complaints. They have very quick turnaround and I don't recall a single time when items weren't ready. I'm retired now so I don't usually need my items "immediately" but I still use them, even though there are many dry cleaners closer to my home. A few months ago I finally got organized and brought $100 worth of items (around 30 items as I recall) to be cleaned and everything was returned quickly and as expected. Their prices are very reasonable and I believe they now use a "green" cleaning process (noticed a sticker in the window). From my initial inquiry over the phone to my actual visit, the staff at Impressive Cleaners was more than helpful. I was able to get a huge stack of heavy coats, suits, and expensive dresses cleaned for much less than I would have expected. The young lady who assisted us with our dry cleaning order went above and beyond the call of duty by examining each garment and its tag to determine what needed to be dry cleaned and what could be safely machine washed.
