I needed a bridesmaid dress tailored to my size, reached out on yelp to a few ppl but this business was the most professional and helpful so I gave them a try. It had to be adjusted once because the dress has some odd angles, but the crew here did a wonderful job and got it done before I needed to fly out. I really appreciated their help and direction on how to fix what needed to be done and how kind they were. I would recommend them. read more

I brought in a Spirit Hoods robe to have the hood removed. They did remove it, so credit where due. But beyond that, the work felt very minimal. There didn't seem to be much consideration for how the robe would fit afterward, whether the collar would be comfortable, or how the final result would look. It now feels awkward to wear and looks more unfinished than tailored. On top of that, for how bare-bones the service was, the price felt rather high. So yes, the hood is gone -- but unfortunately so is the comfort. Two stars because the task was technically completed, but I'm disappointed with the outcome. read more

Super friendly and the alterations on my bridesmaid dress look great and we're done pretty quickly :) I would highly recommend!

Came here for tailoring. Excellent work and done within a reasonable amount of time. Happy to have found them.

Reasonably priced and easy to get to using the 16th Street Free Bus. Clothes came back a day earlier than promised. Very happy with the care received and how the clothes looked after cleaning. read more

Excellent customer service, beautiful craftsmanship, great prices, and an impressively quick turnaround. The location is convenient and parking is easy, which makes it even better. I've officially found my new go-to for dry cleaning and alterations. read more

Amazing job and wonderful people to work with. I came to their shop with 6 dress pants and they immediately provided solutions while keeping their promise on price advertised. Top notch service and quality of work. Thankful to find them! read more

Our favorite dry cleaner and alterations place in front range. Amazing customer service. Tailors are experts of their craft. Glad we found this place. read more

My friends zipper broke on a rather expensive heavy winter jacket that he needs to wear just about every day. It wasn't cheap, $100, but it was a very heavy duty zipper and I'm sure it was difficult to remove the old one and put in a new one. Pretty sure the zipper was not cheap either. I called when they first opened in the morning and after getting the info, the guy working there said that if my friend could get the jacket in there by around 10 AM, he could get it done the same day and he could pick it up before they close. So that's exactly what my friend did and indeed his jacket was ready before the end of the day. One of the other places I call said there was a two week waiting period for a zipper replacement. The guy did a very good job on it and we were delighted to be able to get it replaced for $100 and not have to pay 400 for a whole new coat. read more

Great team and they did such a good job on my dress. The only challenge was finding parking initially, other than that was a great experience. read more

From the first message to the last step of paying for my project and the World Class Expertise with which my item was repaired is second to none. They are truly the BEST in the business. Happy Holidays everyone. read more

Over and over, they've done an incredible job altering my clothes--whether it's dresses, jeans, or hoodies. They never disappoint. Absolutely adore them! read more

Larimer Square Cleaners double billed us $240. Currently fighting with credit card company to reverse the charge. This is a massive waste of our time involving multiple calls and physical trips. Unacceptable. read more

Cleaning and alterations are extremely professional, everything is well done. The shop is run by a family and two blocks away from me. I recommend them highly. read more

This will be my go-to place for tailoring from now on! I needed a blazer hemmed (significantly) for a photoshoot, and due to poor planning on my part, I called just a few days out from when I needed it completed. I called, and they told me to bring it in and that they would do their best to accommodate my timeline. Well, they did! The fitting was a quick process, and despite the fact that my garment needed a lot of adjustments, the tailor (I forgot to get her name) worked some serious magic. Service was friendly too. I'm so grateful to have found this local spot. Thank you!!! read more

Awesome family run business. I live downtown and always take my clothes to here if they need alterations. Jeans, dresses, and even a halter top that they altered to allow it to fit better. Love this place. Reliable and friendly. read more

Took an engagement photoshoot dress and wedding dress in for alterations. The engagement dress was something I bought on Amazon so the fit was awful. Wedding dress was just a bit too long (note: this was a simple Lulu dress so it didn't require much work). I needed the engagement dress in 3 weeks (my bad) and was willing to delay my photoshoot but she ended up doing both dresses in time!!! Super affordable, too. $155 for both dresses read more

Sue is an expert tailor who also has reasonable prices. I am visiting from out of town and had a pair of jeans that had a 3 inch rip but not on the seam. I thought they wouldn't be repairable, but I brought them to Sue and she said "Sure, I can fix that." I didn't have high hopes because it's a large rip in a visible area, but when I came to pick up my jeans I was amazed at her fine work! She had blended the repair in with the grain of the jean fabric in such a way that it is virtually invisible! This is just regular faded denim fabric, not something with a pattern or raised nap to hide the repair. It's hard to find an excellent tailor, but Sue is the real deal so if you need anything altered or repaired you don't need to look any further than Sue at Larimer Square Dry Cleaners and Alterations. read more

Time and again this shop comes through for me. My two recent examples didn't have anything to do with cleaning, but strictly alterations/repairs. 1.) A dress of my wife's needed some some alteration work. They did an AMAZING job. She looked beautiful and couldn't be happier. 2.) I recently brought in a vintage t-shirt that needed some love and they had me fixed and out the door in under 5 minutes. Prices are fair, and the value is high. I couldn't be happier! read more

If you need a suit tailored, make sure you have the dimensions in mind because they do not do a well job fitting you

I've lived in Denver for 7 years and have gone to 10+ tailors/cleaners and have come home completely disappointed. Sue Is HONESTLY the best tailor in all of Denver. The prices are more than fair, and she always delivers. She does exactly what you ask of her, and doesn't try and input her "expertise." You want a suit to be tighter and more trendy, done. You want your pants hemmed a little shorter, done. She is the best, and always has a smile on her face. She is a very good person and I will never go to another cleaner ever again. GO HERE!!!!! read more

Great place nice location easy to get to quick service friendly staff and all at a good price dropped my suit off and had in back within a few days looking great! read more

Great pricing, relatively quick service, took great time to cater to what I wanted. Will definitely be returnin

6/18/08 The prices are reasonable & the hem she did recently is great! I work in restaurants & have to wear suits to work, so I always get few scuffs around my ankles & my sleeves get a couple too from carrying food. They always come back perfectly clean. I point out the marks, but now she has started remembering me and my spots. It seems the owner is there everyday, but dry cleaning is only Monday through Friday. No bother to me & she is really nice. They have my vote for convenience, quality & kindness. Update 10/12/09 I really think Suki is awesome! She can sew, hem, button and fix anything--and if she can't she will be honest with you. She is still the best at getting stains out of my restaurant worn Ann Taylor suits. Love her!! read more

Reasonable prices and amazing service. I walk 20 minutes out of my way to come here. Other places in downtown charge you double. Come here and save a headache and money. No place I would rather go. read more

As a frequent Yelp reviewer, I cherish when I have the opportunity to give a local business a 5-star review... and I get that exact opportunity with Larimer Square Cleaners! Needing a tailor for two new suits I had just purchased, I posted a Facebook status update for recommendations and two different friends of mine who don't know one another each highly suggested I take my garments to all (maybe) 4 foot, 6 inches of owner/operator, Sue. I was not disappointed when I did! She perfectly altered my suits to my requested specifications, charged a very fair price, was welcoming all three times (complementary measurements prior, formal fitting and pick-up) I visited and made me chuckle on more than one occasion! Her shop may be small just like her but in both cases, great things come in a small package. It's rare to find a business owner as talented and kind as Sue and without a doubt, I will be a repeat customer! Side note: Sue, not Suki, the previous owner who retired. read more

I have to say my mom always said I was memorable...Let me just say Suki I forgive you for never remembering me. With that being said whenever I come in here to get my numberous shirts and pants tailored Suki is always very happy. What I like most about this place is that when I tell her how tight I want my shirts she does not try to convince me otherwise... come on Denver tailors slim fitting shirts and pants are in now stop trying to convince me otherwise. read more

I must have come on a bad day. The reviews i read were all about how friendly, etc. I found them unresponsive and almost sulky. They did a good job, which is the point but i thought they were pricey. Others I actually talked to thought so as well. read more

Not the best cleaners I've been to, but this will have to do for now. First off, I just want to let those of you that aren't familiar with the area know that this location isn't on 14th and Larimer. You must go into Larimer Square, and go downstairs past Tag Raw Bar and Chocolatier Blue to find it. The women behind the counter, Suki, was nice and was busy helping another customer when I came in. The other customer was asking about having her trench coat relined-if anyone is interested in the same the price was quoted at $100, and the lining would be the same color as the coat (no fun designs/colors). Suki helped me pin two pairs of jeans to have them hemmed. After reading other reviews I thought I would be told to come back in a few days, but instead I was told to come back a week later (Saturday after 4PM). Sadly, I went to go pick up my pants yesterday and the location was closed! Very nice employees, clean shop, decent prices for downtown, but why tell me to pick up something after 4PM when the store closes at 3PM!? read more

Fast, excellent service. Altered 2 bridesmaid dresses for $80! Would definitely use them again!

I don't think I've written a review before, but Sue at Larimer Square Dry Cleaners deserves at least five stars! I've been bringing my clothes there for years and have been consistently impressed by the quality of the team's dry cleaning and shirt laundry services. I've also brought a few things in to be tailored, and the results have been perfect the first time around. Quick tip: the place is right near an indoor parking lot, and you won't be charged for the first 10 minutes, so run in quickly and you won't have to pay a dime! read more

I needed a long dress hemmed by the next day and not only was she able to do that it only cost me $20!!!! Amazing. She also sewed in the sides for me so that the dress fit me better for only an additional $10. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend this place, especially for quick, reasonable alterations. read more

They are the best tailoring in the city! I've tried going to someone closer to my house, but quickly realized that I had to go back to Larimer Square Cleaners for my next tailor job! I've brought several dresses in that I thought would be impossible to alter, but they did a fantastic job! I never hesitate to bring any piece in to be altered. And to top it all off, they are quick and reasonably priced too! read more

I've been going to Larimer Square cleaners for nearly a decade. Sue does it all, and she's the best!

This is the best dry cleaner and alteration repair shop in all of Denver. Sue the owner is a magnificent seamstress and can alter anything perfectly. The dry cleaning is top notch and very reasonable as well. read more

Had my dress altered to be shorter and it was barely shorter when I picked it up. Unfortunately they will be closed for the holidays and unable to fix it in time for my event. Do not recommend. read more

Suki the owner is fabulous. She hemmed up two pairs of pants, made a shirt that just hung on me into a fitted shirt, and dry cleaned them all within a few days, just in time for my xmas party. She was very kind. Her store is on Larimer Sq., underground. Very comfortable dressing area. And best of all she hemmed my pants like an expert. Soooo happy to have found her. read more

If you have a regular shirt you need it dry cleaned, maybe this is the place to go. However, if you have any silk shirts or clothes you care about, stay away. I've moved to Denver from big cities (NYC, SF, LA, HK) and have never had so much trouble with dry cleaning until coming here. Unfortunately, I've had way too many terrible experiences with this place. I own a lot of silk shirts for work and am pretty familiar with the cleaning procedures. 1. One of my silk shirts came back ripped at the top of the sleeve (not bottom). I was told it was my fault as silk is delicate and the shirt may be too small on me - it's not; it's actually two sizes too big. They were kind enough to fix it, but why are my shirts coming back ripped? 2. I've had two silk shirts come back shrunk. How could I tell? The edges were shrunk, wrinkly and wavy. I had advised them that whoever they are using for cleaning is utilizing way too many chemicals. Of course, once silk is shrunk, there's no way of expanding it out again like wool. They said they switched providers thereafter, but who knows 3. Silk shirt came back dirty. The owner did offer to clean it again, but a good dry cleaner takes a look and either decides to toss it back for second cleaning or advise that the stains cannot be removed. I had a water stain - which I know from past experience - is removable, and for some reason they were not able to remove it. Basically, they went from using too many chemicals to none. I took the shirt elsewhere and all the stains were removed without a problem. 4. Quite expensive for the services they are offering. I've since found a better place that cleans better for cheaper - but it's been a journey. I can't comment on their tailoring services. read more

Suki! My long-lost grandmother. She never judges me for spilling makeup or for having clothes there days past the recommended 2-week pick-up date. She typically has a quick turn-around rate for dry cleaning of a few days and max a week for tailoring, I've never had any complaints, and I've never had any bad experiences with her. She's always in good spirits and her stories are always on the TV. I think the prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of work and not nearly as high as many gimmick-y chain cleaners I've visited all over town. read more

Excellent work. I had a suit tailored on short notice and they got all the details right.
