Not pictured: the pepperoni rolls. So good! Great crust on the pizza and lots of good options. Good wine selection and good service. Only thing that could be better would be dimming the lights and more up to date music but those are personal preferences!

Garlic knots delicious!

Clarification to management's point- the pizza had too many cloves of garlic. Bread knots were nice- but came out too late-

The white pizza on the bottom right of the page! I forget the name

Service & food! I don't know why it was so slow but the food was amazing and our server was so accommodating and nice! The prices are high for pizza but again everything seems expensive. I wish they had a smaller version for lunch!

Buffalo Chicken
Jen B.

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken which has a ranch base, shredded mozzarella, red onion, marinated chicken, fresh basil, Maytag blue cheese, and buffalo sauce. My friend ordered The Garcia (not pictured) which is a jalapeño ranch base, & has shredded mozzarella, pesto chicken, cherry tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, fresh cilantro. Both pizzas have a nice crunch to it and the flavors work really well together. I would highly recommend this spot for date night or dinner. We decided to try this spot on our lunch break. Food took a little longer than expected and we were the only ones. Parking was available however, it's limited. Overall service and food is good! I would go back.

Went to Grace's for the first time tonight and it was really good! We had a slight mix up in the beginning where our appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) was apparently brought to the bar instead of our table, so that took about 25 minutes to even come out which was a little frustrating in the beginning (we were just getting very hungry ) as many other tables around us had gotten their food.. but the restaurant is new so we figured they might still be working out some issues. The other one small thing that was not my favorite was how cold it was in the restaurant, but I think we were seated right under an AC vent, so that is also just a personal preference thing. Okay now.. everything they got RIGHT. The decor in there is so cute. It's pretty cozy, and is sort of a combo of fine dining feel but also a quaint and cozy local spot. Lots of couples but also families, all ages were enjoying it. Could be good for any type of group. And then our food! The spinach artichoke dip was delicious. You can tell its homemade, came out piping hot. I also 10000000/10 recommend adding bacon on top. It is coated in brown sugar/crushed red pepper/spice blend and is so flavorful. Both the calzone and pizza we got were delicious as well, perfectly cooked and loads of delicious toppings. We saw a few of the pastas come out to tables around us and they also looked delicious. Large portions of everything as well, so it was well worth the prices. And then for the grand finale we had the cinnamon shake and it was amazing. It was the real star of an already great show. And so fun. Their birthday cake shake even comes lit up with a sparkler, we saw them come out for tables around us and it is so fun because everyone gets so excited, especially all of the kids. Even with the mix up with our app and the cold temps in there, we will absolutely be back. Everything was delicious, we had great service (they are also very good about constant drink refills), and even better - free and ample parking in their attached lot! It might fill up as it gets a bit busier but we had no issues tonight. Overall great spot, recommend it for sure

Illegal cheese bread

Decent food for sure.... Cheese Bread Appetizer: Good but a bit bland, different types of cheese just kinda melded together in the middle, more basil spread evenly over the bread would have gone a long way to make it better Hawaiian Pizza: Average crust, sauce was a bit acidic nice big pieces of bacon. But they use canned pineapple chunks, seems like a bad choice for a $20 12" pizza. Topping could have been spread more close to edge of the crust 3" crust ring around the pizza is a bit much just to show off pizza oven effect. I'd go back and try something different with no problem. Service was good. The server was very pleasant not overly attentive which is a plus in this type of restaurant. The place was clean and we'll maintained. Tables were surprising large for such a small space, nice to have some space on the table.

Five stars all around! This new spot in the Heights is the perfect place for a date night or night out with friends. Highly recommend starting with the garlic knots for the table with a side of spicy marinara. Then for an entree get any of the pizzas. My fave was the surpreme grace with hot honey added on top. Then to end your night, get one of the massive shakes. We got the Oreo to split and our friends got the cookie one. Our server was awesome. He gave us so many great recommendations and kept coming to check on us. If you haven't been yet, highly recommend trying! We will be back and take our friends!!

Beat the dinner rush and get in by 6pm. Had the wagyu meatballs, bread knots and salad to start. All are good size portions for a great price ($10 to $13 ea). Customer Service was great, food came out quick and managers swung by to check on us. We each had a cocktail and split the buffalo chicken pizza and topped it all off with the cinnamon toast crunch shake which was Amazing! We will definitely be back because their menu looks solid and we want to try out everything. We highly recommend for date night as well as family dinner

If I could give 10 STARS I WOULD! The food was absolutely the best! Flavor, freshness, and quality are definitely something this restaurant prides itself in. Victoria was our server and she deserves employee of the month! Truly such a kind and welcoming soul Will return with more people to enjoy!

amazing would be the word I would use for the whole experience at Grace pizza from walking in being seated, eating and leaving. It was great customer service and amazing food. The pizzas were fresh and amazing. I wish we would've started with the shakes because we were too full to have one but next time we are in Houston, we will definitely be back

The service and the pizza were both fabulous. My friend and I love to try new pizza spots in town and this one did not disappoint!

Fun place in the old Sonoma building. they serve fancy pizza similar to Gypsy Poet. Pizza was good and the shakes were over the top. We will be back.

This is Gia's cake, explosion.

This might be a Huston hidden gem, but I just encountered the best meatball sandwich I've ever had in my life. The meatballs are made with Wagyu beef locally sourced. Customer service was great and the shakes were immaculate.. Ert was fantastic.

Love this spot! Enjoying our food at the bar with our bartender, Justin

Gypsy Poet is always consistent with the taste and service, you can always expect a good experience in both aspects. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak sandwich, which was okay but nothing super memorable in my opinion. My parents ordered the Seasonal GOAT with Summer Peaches salad, which was also just okay. My sister, however, ordered the Lemon Chicken and Farro soup, which was actually pretty yummy and is something I would definitely order for myself. In terms of parking, there's plenty of spots available throughout the MKT area, but you may need to park farther away to snag a spot. Overall, if you're in the mood for a healthier sandwich or salad option and are in the MKT area, this place is worth trying. Maybe I'll come back and try something new.

He was incredibly friendly and working hard, but because he seemed to be juggling so much on his own, service was on the slower side. For the appetizer, we ordered the Crispy Fried Oysters & Brussels, and I got the redfish for my entrée. The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce. I had never heard of Hoppin' John before, but it's essentially a Southern rice-and-bean dish, and paired with that lemon butter, it was so flavorful. It complemented the fish perfectly.
