So utterly disappointed by my experience at Grace Loves Lace. First off, they preach that they are body positive and that was absolutely opposite of my experience. I was shamed about my body over and over and over again. Leaving my appointment I was almost in tears. It was just such a disappointing experience. For any girl that is not stick thin or perfect (aka nobody) please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I do not have anything positive to say about my experience with Grace Loves Lace and would not recommend anyone try on dresses or purchase a dress from Grace Loves Lace. Horrible. What a long stressful journey. It's so sad because I've been a fan of Grace loves Lace for years and when it came time I thought of no other place. All I would recommend is if you're trying on dresses here and love one but it's not quite right don't buy it. I tried on a medium, they didn't have any other sizes to try on so I trusted the sales lady that a medium is my best option. If that's "the one." "It's easier to take in than take out." "You can do all the alterations necessary." That was not the case for me ordered early December and received it mid May had to rush to find an alterations lady for my wedding in July. (She finished what she could 2 days before my flight.) The lace is beautiful but very stretchy and complicated to alter so heavily. Grace loves Lace will tell you differently. In my mad dash to get help the day before my flight, begging for help, they happened to have my dress in XS and it fit me so perfectly. They offered to sell me that one for 80% off with a hole in it, worn heavily and that was the best they could do. Nothing for my current dress. $4,500 after alterations all gone for a dress to not be worn. Anyway happy ending, absolutely was saved by Luv Bridal, a complete God send, got me in last minute and found a whole new dress. Shed lots of tears for their kindness and loving energy. 10/10 recommend everyday forever! read more

I contacted customer service - Amy said she would love to help even though I was 4 days past their 7 day warranty. I spent 22 days sending them very specific photos and getting re-measured (also my measurements hadn't changed). I was very upfront about the dress being with a seamstress. 23 days before my wedding, I received a response from Amy stating, "there is nothing they can do since alterations already started". It's upsetting because GLL offered to help knowing my dress was in alterations. I never asked for anything. They acted like they wanted to help and they knew my dress was with a seamstress as the wedding is less than 2 weeks away. I used a seamstress *they* recommended and then they insulted me over the cost of the alterations. I am so hurt because I never asked for anything. They offered to help then exploited vulnerable photos of me in an ill fitting dress. So now, I will share them for you all to review and consider the quality based off my experience. ________________________________ I am so sad about the dress I received and will be spending over $800 in alterations. More than half the price of the dress. 1. I was told that 90% of their dresses don't need alterations because they are tailored to your exact measurements. This is NOT true. They don't have an in-house seamstress so there is no way to track this. Even when I called about the issue and said alterations were needed, the store didn't ask for my name or any information. They did however provide a referral for two tailors that are familiar with their dresses. 2. Making an appointment for the final measurements was nearly impossible. The store policies for this 15 minute appointment for the final measurements is incredibly limited. Especially, if you work a 9-5 job! 3. My dress arrived and it's HUGE. The top is actually falling off of me. The material around the skirt is more of a yellow color vs the bright white in the store. It's significantly longer than the 1 inch give that was measured. Please just keep in mind that once you've paid for the item, you're no longer a customer of this store. read more

My day at GLL Denver was the absolute best. I cannot stop smiling. The environment, the Prosecco, the dresses... all exquisite. But truly the reason this salon is incredible is Taylor. She was so genuine and made me feel so comfortable. She has the best eye for what is flattering yet surprising. I brought my three closest friends, and she incorporated them into the morning and made us all feel welcome and so pumped up! I found the dress of my dreams and got a bunch of styling tips from Taylor to make it unique. Thank you Taylor and thank you GLL denver for making the bridal experience so beautiful. When it comes to a wedding dress, steer clear for Grace loves lace. I had picked out my wedding dress a year and a half before my wedding, we sent my measurements in 6 different times. Each time going to the bridal shop to have their "experts" measure me. I waited a year and a half, and my dress comes in, I have been looking forward to this day for forever. I take my dress out of the box to find holes all over my dress, and it was so wrong size. There is no way to be in direct contact with customer care since they are based out of Australia. A week went by, finally someone emails is back. Saying "you probably gained weight" I actually lost 15 pounds and was smaller. One morning I woke up to an email stating I needed to find a new wedding dress, 2 months before my wedding and there was nothing they could do. I would wish this on nobody. read more

This place is really cool and very unique bridal shop. Plus, new to Denver so check em out. Full disclosure I was not here for me but rather with a friend. They really care about you and they have a lot of passion for their product. No zipper, no buttons, no boning, stretchy fabric! Pretty good selection, albeit a tad smaller than some other shops. Absolutely perfect dresses for a beach wedding and beyond. Although my friend ultimately did not get her dress here, she loved the experience and we were back twice to try on gowns. I had a great time and although it's not private appointments they do seem like it the way they have the try on areas. Although I didn't find my dress at Grace Loves Lace, I had such a good experience with Taylor and the whole process. The showroom is absolutely beautiful and when I arrived, Taylor sat down and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. I'm on kind of a rushed timeline and she was great at only showing me what would work for me size and order-wise and explaining how the process would work if I were to move forward. The dresses themselves are SO comfortable, flattering and easy to wear. The selection is quite varied, which is awesome for a wide range of brides - from high-neck, long sleeved gowns to spaghetti strapped and two-piece dresses, there really is something for every unique person. If you're on the hunt for a great dress along with a friendly shopping experience, definitely put GLL on your list! read more

Unfortunately, the dresses looked amazing, but my stylist, Amanda Jones, single handily ruined my experience at Grace Loves Lace, in Denver Colorado. After 4 previous appointments at different bridal shops, I did not once think the stylist had that big of affect until I experienced a truly bad stylist. It does matter. To start, my measurements were taken by my friend who had no experience doing so. Amanda gave us zero direction on how to measure the bust, under-bust, or waist, and during my hip measurement I stood with a wide stance, which I found out after I shouldn't have done so since every dress there was fit looser. My other appointments gave me an entirely different experience, where two different people measured me at the same place to make sure it was spot on. At GLL Amanda could not have cared less. She announced I was a size Large, and that I was unable to try on a smaller dress size even though the Disco Day Dream Dress, which was the whole reason I was there, was falling off of me and had 5-8 inches of extra material on each side of me. Imagine a dress looking dreamy, but being 8 sizes too big. When I asked her if I could try on the next smallest size, she remarked "We are not allowed to let guests try on smaller dresses because we don't want them to be stretched out." Lovely, right? She ruined my entire experience. I know each company has rules to follow, but someone needs to teach her some tact, because in my head I was buying that dress, but my entire appointment was poisoned and I left empty handed. Additionally, GLL does not do any alterations, you have to find your own tailor. Grace loves lace was beautiful, but if you have Amanda scheduled as your stylist I would call and see if someone else can help you, so the stylist does not overshadow the dress like mine did. I know anyone reading this may think it is harsh, but I was beyond upset. My expectations were high, and the dresses were great, but bad customer service had me blinded to the beauty each dress could have had. read more

Went to go get sized for a bridesmaid dress and was already feeling very overwhelmed and stressed out about it and Taylor made the whole experience amazing. I can't recommend this place enough, Taylor in particular. Immediately made me feel so comfortable, provided a drink, and sat with me to get more information and sized me. She had such good feedback and was very receptive to what I was looking for in terms of dresses. Their prices are also so reasonable and Taylor provided me with all the information I needed to order my dress and was more than happy to be contacted with future help. I am obsessed with GLL! My aunt actually wore the emanuela gown a few years ago for her special day and I really loved the Bohemian style. I saw pictures online when browsing for dresses and couldn't believe that there was a place where I would wear EVERY single dress they had. I especially couldn't believe they were opening a GLL in Denver a week after I found them online. I made an appointment right away. It took two appointments but I picked my dream wedding dress. Stephanie is so so so amazing and helpful. She let me stay way past my time, recommended great accessories and veils, and made me feel so beautiful and excited in every single gown. The showroom is also gorgeous! They give you champagne which is a big plus ;) they also have a mirror out in the main room where you can take amazing pictures. I scheduled a last minute appointment at Grace Loves Lace last weekend. The service here is PHENOMENAL. Stephanie took excellent care of me and the ladies in my party. Sadly, I didn't find the dress I was looking for here, but it's just because the dresses didn't happen to be my taste. I bought a gown from GLL and just wore it for my wedding on 10/07. The dress was absolutely perfect & completely my dream dress. The quality of the dresses are out of this world. Taylor was so helpful and kind! Come prepared with ideas that you like and she can help you with the vision. They have a great selection here and everything is a little different but very boho chic. You can tell that they really want you to find a dress that you love. Highly recommend. Right now (March 2021) their COVID-19 rules allow for 2 guests in addition to the bride but they are very accommodating and encourage video calling on and the wifi is great. Ultimately it was still very fun and felt like I was right here (I was. Right outside in the car). Definitely one of the more accommodating shops considering COVID-19, while still enforcing safety measures. read more

After the timing of an evening appointment caused some delays in purchasing, she gave me her personal number to keep me updated on my gown and stayed on top of every detail to make this a wonderful and successful experience. My experience there was very nice, but the dress styles are a bit limited in the sense that if you need a dress with structure, this isn't really the place to find it. Do not buy from here. The customer service at Grace loves lace is absolutely terrible, which is so unfortunate because my experience in store with the sales rep was so great. When I bought my dress I was concerned because it was slightly over my price range, however the sales rep assured me that since their dresses are "made to order" alterations would be very minimal (she told me they should be no more than $600). I followed all their steps, including going into the store, and having one of their sales reps take all of my measurements. When I received my dress a few months later I was very confused because it was extremely large on me. When I reached out to customer service they told me my measurements changed and alterations are part of the process. I am the exact same weight I was when I ordered the dress. I am now stuck paying over $1,200 for alterations and grace loves lace is offering no help or compensation for their unmet expectations. Very disappointed in this brand. read more

What an amazing experience! Shopping for dresses is can be very overwhelming, but Stephanie was such a calming, supportive presence through it all. This was my first time trying on dresses, and she truly helped throughout the entire process of bridal dress shopping, and I was very much at ease through it all. I had made my appointment online months before to go in and try on wedding dresses. At first due to COVID they said only the bride and 2 people were allowed. My apt. was supposed to be last Saturday, June 19, 2021. I want to preface by saying The State of Colorado and Denver County have lifted all COVID restrictions as of May. The week before the apt. they emailed stating the bride and 3 other people are allowed in. When we arrived for the apt. my best friend from out of town had surprised me and flown in for the bridal fitting so we had me (the bride) and 4 other people. I explained the situation to the manager on shift and she was so extremely rude. She said essentially that's not my problem and if you want one person to wait outside and she can just look through the glass window while you try on dresses with your mask on she can do that. It was over 90 degrees outside I said to her. She said well again not my problem. They have tiny little seating areas all sectioned off for the bridal fittings that make it feel like a Macy's dressing room. Their open waiting area in the front of the store is totally open but no one is allowed to sit down. We went to three other local dress shops in Colorado that were AMAZING and squeezed us in on the day of notice. Had beautiful open show rooms and the true bridal dress shopping experience you dream about when you are little. I would advise taking your business else where as this was not the feel at all at the Grace Loves Lace in Denver. Such a bummer because the entire Denver experience is nothing like their standard in other markets or what is promised online. read more
