I'd been struggling with finding the perfect dress for an elopement. Shopping online for such an important event can be challenging, especially with shipping delays these days. After a few weeks of searching, I decided to give Boulder Bridal a try. Olivia, my consultant, listened to what I was looking for and found some great options for me, including a few that I didn't think would work for me, but looked gorgeous on. I tried on about six dresses, and Olivia was super patient and helpful getting me into each one. She even took photos of me to share with my friends who couldn't be there. I knew I'd found my dress when my face lit up once I put it on. Olivia was genuinely excited for me and let me take my time FaceTiming my friends to share in my excitement. I would recommend Boulder read more

The dress shop itself is great. However, do not I repeat DO NOT use their alterations service. It took four alterations sessions and I still left without what I requested. I promise I wasn't asking for much. I asked for the straps to be replaced with lace. In 3 sessions this was not completed. They were finally replaced by the fourth time. I repeatedly asked for my dress to be shortened and the alterations team kept saying that they didn't want to as "My shoes would show". I stated that is actually what I wanted. I also had flats for the reception that required the dress to be shorter as well. The alterations team suggested that I just get a different pair of shoes then. For my final session the lace was finally replaced for the straps. My dress However was shortened by a half an inch if not less. I had asked for at least two inches off at the previous session. At his point I did not have time to come in for another session as my wedding was 10 days away. I took it as is and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, with the dress being too long I had many issues throughout my wedding. My dress kept getting stepped on even when bustled up. Several of the buttons on the bustle broke as a result and I had half my train out on the floor. All of the beads at the bottom were stepped on and broken. I had to carry my dress for most of the night. My dress also slipped under my shoes and I took a VERY hard fall. I bruised my elbow and my hip badly. The owner was apologetic but was covering for the team for the most part. Bottom line. Unless your dress is good as is when you buy it here, go ANYWHERE else for your alterations. read more

What a wonderful experience for a "senior" bride shopping for her wedding dress! Daize listened to my desires and came forth with a wide variety of dresses to try on. After about 12 dresses, she showed me the one that was the winner! She helped me decide on this dress by making some adaptations and adjustments... very creative in her thinking. This is a beautiful boutique with individualized attention and will make you feel like a princess. Make an appointment here and you will not be disappointed! read more

I had the best experience with Nina and Boulder Bridal! I came to Boulder Bridal looking for a specific dress on relatively short notice before my wedding. She got the dress quickly ordered and event added some extra lace on the train for a personal touch. Nina was so kind, patient and communicative. I had some last minute alteration needs and she did everything she could to make my dress perfect for my wedding day. I would 100% recommend buying a wedding dress here! read more

I came in with my grandma today (without an appointment!) and Daize was so incredibly helpful and knowledgable and even helped me pick out the dress we ended up buying! I was really dreading the dress buying process and she put me at ease. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and she gave some great recommendations for local alterations. Highly recommend!! read more

Avoid this place if you plan to have alterations. I rarely write reviews and I wanted to love my experience here. I ordered my wedding dress back in November after trying it on here. I wanted to add sleeves if possible. They assured me it was possible and encouraged me to go for it. The dress arrived at the end of April, and my wedding was July 23rd. I was supposed to go in for two fittings, the second one to build the sleeves. At the first fitting, they selected extra lace from the dress and fit it on my arms to show me how the sleeves would look. I came in for the second fitting, which was supposed to be for checking the fit of the built sleeves, June 26th. They hadn't made them yet. At this point I secretly got a little nervous, because it meant I wouldn't be able to try the sleeves on before the final wedding fitting, but I trusted them and had no reason not to. They wanted to have me pick up the dress Tuesday, July 18th. I asked if we could move that up a little to get it to July 15th. On Saturday the 15th, the sleeves didn't fit correctly and frankly looked like I had made them myself with tape and kid scissors lol. I was alone at the appointment and didn't know what to do. They sent me directly to their alterations company in Aurora with the dress to fix them, since at this point I was 8 days out from my wedding. At the alterations shop in Aurora, I tried to show them how poorly the sleeves fit- they were waaaay too tight. The dress wouldn't stay up on my shoulders when I walked because it didn't fit on my shoulders lol. They argued with me about it, and then told me to come back Tuesday and insisted putting a clear plastic strap on the open back would help it stay up? I was afraid of confrontation and didn't know what to do, so I agreed to come back Tuesday. I came back that Tuesday, and they hadn't worked on it.... So I watched them work on it while waiting there. Then I put the sleeves on and accidentally ripped the sheer fabric immediately while literally standing there, because it still fit wrong. They quickly fixed that. But at this point the entire top of the dress didn't fit my chest anymore, I knew I'd easily rip the fabric again the second I moved my arms again, the lace was cut completely weird and looked like I purchased it off Shein. I gave up and took it home in a panic, prepared to cut the sleeves off myself. Fortunately, I found another seamstress 4 days before my wedding and asked her to just take the sleeves off and refit the top. Fortunately she saved the day. But unfortunately, I feel like I got taken advantage of by boulder bridal and their alterations shop. From the insane amount of $$ I spent on unprofessional alterations, to the way I was disregarded and the time I wasted, it's truthfully a huge bummer and I feel like I got taken advantage of. read more

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at Boulder Bridal. I had high hopes of finding the perfect wedding dress, but unfortunately, my visit turned into a nightmare due to the unprofessional behavior of the owner and the subpar quality of the merchandise. The treatment I received from the owner was unacceptable. She was extremely rude during our interactions, including hanging up on me during phone calls. This behavior was beyond disrespectful and unbecoming of a business owner. Furthermore, the dress I purchased, which cost $2200, turned out to be the wrong size and of poor quality. It is evident that the staff lacks the necessary skills to provide competent service and properly assemble a dress of such significance. I strongly advise others to avoid Boulder Bridal and seek a more reputable establishment where they will be treated with respect and receive high-quality service for such an important purchase. I hope that my experience will prompt necessary improvements within your organization. Edit Excuse me, not a customer?! I'm the mother of the bride, and I purchased the dress!! Definitely don't take my word on this. Do your own research go to wedding platforms you will see the kind of business owner she is ! You CAN find her on the BBB. It's just a little tricky to find it. read more

Boulder Bridal is an amazing store. I tried on at least 40 wedding dresses and felt very stressed about the dress shopping, but I'm so glad I finally came to Boulder Bridal. Nina helped me to find the dresses and they are great consultants! They know what you're looking for even though I love lots of dresses, but they helped me to narrow down the style that I feel the most excited and happy with! My wedding is only shoot 2 months away when I found my dress, they did an awesome job as well altering my dress. The price is very reasonable and just made my dress shopping experience without any dress!! 100 recommended. read more

I wanted so badly to write a good review. I was recommended this store by a friend who had a great experience. My initial appointment to try on dresses went really well. Olivia was incredibly helpful and made me super comfortable. I ended up picking the 14th (!!) dress I tried on that I never in a million years thought I would pick. This was in January for an October 12 wedding. I was told it was borderline on time in terms of getting the dress and having time for multiple fittings but was assured it would be fine. They told me my dress would be in late July/early August. Fast forward to mid-August and I haven't heard a peep. I called the shop and got the voicemail. They said I could text a number, so I did. No response. I emailed them. I even Instagram messaged their shop page. I heard no response. I ended up having to drive there to speak to someone in person because I was very stressed my dress didn't even exist, 2 months before my wedding. They told me the designer had delays but that my dress would be in the first week of September. This stressed me out but they said they could rush alter it. The first week of September rolls around and again I had to check in. They told me it would be in "next Wednesday." And set up a fitting time for the next Friday (9/15). Luckily the dress came in and I did the first fitting, only hemming and bustling needed. I ended up picking up my dress on October 5th for my October 12th wedding (!!!!!) and the alterations were $650 which after all the hassle I would've hoped for some kind of discount. I understand that if the designer was delayed, my dress would be late and that is not the bridal shop's fault. My biggest issue here was how awful communication was. I had to keep badgering them constantly and it added so much extra stress to an already stressful time. I wanted to support a small business and I loved my dress, but unfortunately the service just wasn't there! read more

This was the first bridal shop my daughter went to and she was treated well and found the perfect dress! She is in college in Durango and on the CC/Track and Field Team. This means she has limited availability to schedule her fittings. At the first fitting with the head seamstress it was wonderful! They did a great job of figuring out how to add sleeves and scheduled for her next time home. That was when it went downhill. At the next fitting the owner was there and was not prepared to add the sleeves. She has not ordered the material from the original designer at the time she ordered the dress and it was discontinued. She found "similar" lace but not an exact match as it should have been. She stated my daughter would have to come back another time before her final fitting to do them and the bust line. This was not possible with her running schedule so her sister (luckily similar size) stood in and face timed with her on the applique placement. She was totally unorganized and unprepared for this fitting that my daughter came all the way from Durango for. At the next appointment she charged us another 175 for the sleeves but never mentioned that when I paid for the alterations at the previous fitting. She reassured us that all would be well at the final fitting the week of the wedding. This was not the case. 5 days before it was a MESS. The sleeves were different lengths and clearly done by different people. The lace was not even sewn in some places. The bust did not fit and she would be exposing her breasts at any move. The owner took the dress after marking it with a red pen and attempted to sew the top. She sent her home and said she would need to tape it to keep it in place. She did not make note of the sleeves nor did she say she would fix them. My mother in law, who is a master seamstress took one look at it at home and knew the boning needed to be taken out and it taken in on the sides. My daughter called and insisted they come back the next day. The owner was not very happy. The next day the lead seamstress, was amazing. She was embarrassed that the dress was ever sent home in that condition. She removed the red marks (thank goodness we did not attempt to as they simply had to be steamed off not rubbed). She recognized the horrible workmanship on the sleeves and took the boning out and fixed it all herself. We were beyond grateful for the lead seamstress but if not for her it would have been horrible. The owner did not offer any refund of the alterations nor an apology. For all of these reasons I would not recommend this bridal shop. read more

I want to take the time to write about my incredible experience at Boulder Bridal, I came in last minute looking for an elopement dress with 3 weeks before the wedding, yes 3....Nina pulled out all the stops to make it happen for me and even was able to make an alter to the back of my dress to have it dip lower, she and her team made adjustments and had it ready 2 days before the wedding on such a crazy tight time line. All I experienced was kindness and a can do attitude from the moment I walked in. If you are looking for a place that will make you feel special and has a gorgeous selection as well Boulder Bridal is it, and you can feel assured they are going to pull out the stops to make you ready for your special day!! read more

I had a fantastic time at Boulder Bridal and I would highly recommend it to anyone at any stage of their dress shopping. I have had 3 other bridal shopping experiences and none compared to this in terms of the the time, attention, and care. Olivia was super sweet from the start and asked thoughtful questions to help guide the dress selections. She walked me through the collection of dresses and was very knowledgable about designers, styles, and fabrics. She was able to answer all of my questions as we went. She was very attentive during the try-ons and provided her thoughts as we talked through each dress. She was able to pull more suggestions for me based on my feedback. And, although I didn't expect to, I found my dress. And not only that, Olivia and the store owner (who's name I didn't catch unfortunately) helped me talk through alterations I might want to consider to further customize the dress to be perfect for me and my day. Thank you so much! read more

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at Boulder Bridal this past weekend! My consultant Oliva was amazing! Very friendly, laid back, didn't make me feel rushed, or pressured or anything like that. I've been engaged before, and shopped for dresses previously, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Other shops charge a fee just to try on dresses, or they pressure you, or put you in dresses outside of your budget. Boulder Bridal doesn't do any of those things. Olivia was patient, gave great feedback on the dresses, was very knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable. I was also able to meet the owner Nina, who was so warm and welcoming to her shop as well. I was the only bride with an appointment to try on dresses, which was wonderful, because you get that specialized attention, and don't have a bunch of eyes on you in the shop when you are making a decision. I drove about an hour from south of Denver to come to this shop, and it was SO worth it. I found my dress at Boulder Bridal and recommend that every bride try this shop as well! read more
