Many of the pieces (jewelry and clothing) is made by local artists and designers, which is beyond cool! I love supporting local businesses! T = Tons of clothes. I mean TONS. Lindsay is rude, unwelcoming, and incredibly pushy. She gets visibly annoyed if customers don't purchase something, and creates an uncomfortable shopping environment. What's most upsetting is the way she treats the employees. It's truly disgusting. Most of them are high school or college-aged girls just working summer jobs, and Lindsay constantly criticizes them and seems to look for reasons to scold them. Every time I've been in the store when she's working, I end up leaving early because I can't stand to watch the way she speaks to both customers and staff. It's heartbreaking to see such a warm, friendly place turn into a toxic space. I've always had great interactions with the employees, many of whom go out of their way to be helpful and kind. I really hope Susan takes a closer look at what's happening because Lindsay is ruining the atmosphere of what used to be a wonderful local boutique. I went on a Monday afternoon and was greeted by the one person working. She was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. There's nothing worse than walking into a cute boutique and feeling like they don't want you there but I did not feel like that here AT ALL. I feel like the employee could have been my friend she was so sweet! When a dress I wanted was sold out in my size, she was helpful in finding a similar dress for me to try! I was pleasantly surprised by how much stuff they have! The store is big and they have TONS of clothing in there but still have plenty of space for you to move about and have pretty displays. They didn't have clothes crammed into the racks so I didn't feel like I had to dig. I could see everything on the rack before I approached it then only had to dig in to see details. Most their clothes are neutral tones - gray, white, olive, blush, brown, navy, etc. I was told in summer they would have brighter colors but generally like the neutrals. Their clothes were exactly my style (age 26) and I could see 16 year olds or 60 year olds shopping here. Their clothes are a mix of classic staples and fun trendy pieces. The trendier pieces were nice - cute tanks, lace up tops, drop waist dresses, leggings with fun details, felt/wool hats, and more. They didn't have any club-wear - just all-around classy, fun pieces! They also have an entire rack of staples - tanks, t-shirts, long sleeves, etc. Their clothes are inexpensive but seemed to be high quality. The brands I saw included Flying Monkey, Lush, Dress Forum, Mittoshop, Entro, Everly, Lovestitch, Tresics, Cherish, Staccato, Les Amis, and more. Prices were great! I didn't see anything over $100. Tops seemed to range from $28 - 58, dresses from $42 - 68, and necklaces from $10 - 30. They had a clearance rack in the back and everything was really marked down! They had a beautiful Lush lace dress for $20! Accessories included shoes, hats, lace bras, scarves (tonssss of scarves!), candles, bracelets, necklaces, purses, and more! They had long wear, casual wear, lots of tops, plenty of dresses, and adorable leggings I'm kicking myself for not buying (and will likely go back for). They accept returns but will only give refunds in the form of store credit. Their shopping bags are reusable totes which I love! I can't ever have enough of those! I absolutely LOVE this store and can't wait to go back!
