Dealing with the staff being unprofessional and not hyping the bride is not a great day for the bride. The staff didn't listen to the bride and the bride had to ask to go look for a dress. And when ordering the staff pushed to have the dress ordered 4 sizes to big and they don't offer alterations. We will detour any bride that asks about going there. read more

Dani West was a beautiful store! I was impressed with the lighting and the way they have the whole place set up! There is a bit of a premeditated flow for the appointment the staff seems to follow, which is probably right for brides that get really bubbly and exuberant over finding the dress, but a little cheesy perhaps for me. I think if you end up getting your dress here, they have one of the best Yes to the Dress "ceremony" type things with gifts, photos, and other in house traditions. BEAUTIFUL collection. I loved many of the dresses I tried on, but unfortunately none were the right one for me. I'm also finding out I'm a picky bride and that I do have a pretty clear picture in my mind of what I want, and while my stylist was great, she never offered to let me go through the collection and look myself. I also gave a price range of $1000 ideal, and maybe up to $1500 max, but she consistently gave me dresses that were 1600, 1700, 1800 instead. I had mentioned wanting to try the off the rack dresses, but we never got around to it after trying on the expensive dresses she picked out first. We had an amazing experience at Dani West. Everyone of the staff including the owner make everyone feel special. They listened to my daughter (bride) wants and picked some beautiful dresses out for her. We ended up saying yes to the dress, we had a champagne toast, bell ringing, photo booth etc and were given slippers, sweatshirt and more bride stuff. You just feel pampered and special, Also love that they have a seemstress on site, we paid to have the dress steamed etc the week of the wedding and it wasn't overly expensive. They were VERY pushy with the sell of my dress and stated multiple times "we may not have time to get your gown in." or "if you purchase today it will be less because we won't have to rush order" ...7months prior to my wedding date. However, it was when my dresses were being delivered to the store that they went over the top with customer service. Almost all my bridesmaids are in California and I specifically wanted the dresses to be at the shop for pick up before I was going to California so I could hand deliver them (instead of ship them). Unfortunately, the dresses were scheduled to be delivered the day I left and after I left. Dani West was an AMAZING bridal shop find!! I will recommend Dani West to any and all of my friends who get engaged after finding my dress there. Amazing staff, fantastic dress selection, and such a cute shop. Likes: -I told them that we were trying to have our wedding quickly (about 2.5 months out) and they were SO willing to help and try to accommodate. I had gone to another bridal shop the day before and the woman basically scoffed and said "we'll see". I narrowed down my dress choices at Dani West and they checked the dates that they could get all of them in, and even offered to sell their in-store inventory if nothing was available in time... they ordered my favorite of the dresses and it came in 3 WEEKS LATER! Unheard of! (Granted that will depend on the dress and the designers manufacturing schedule.) -I truly appreciated how open and honest they were about pricing. I never felt like I was limited with the budget I asked to stay within (probably lower than average), and the ladies helped pull dresses that were under budget that I hadn't come across online. -I felt like they truly listened to what I wanted, and only interjected when appropriate. The bridal appointment I had at another shop the day before felt more like a lesson, where I told the woman what I wanted (dress, shoes, hair, etc.) and she told me why I wouldn't want that. Blown away!! Patty is wonderful! I went to 7 bridal shops from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. Dani West is intimate, special, personalized, you do NOT get that "commercial " feel like at others, I was never forced to try something on or pressured to buy something. To be honest, Dani West is the ONLY Bridal Boutique I went to, where I felt was a bridal shop, the look, decor, top notch concierge treatment. (It's ALL apart of the experience!) Its really disappointing and sad more shops are not like that, but ALL IS OK because there is Dani West!! YES! Total fangirl alert: I cannot express enough how amazing my experience at Dani West Bridal Boutique was! Upon entry for my first bridal appointment, my mom, sisters and myself were greeted with a glass of chardonnay and a personalized welcome sign. We started the appointment with a fun chat about gown styles I had in mind and the vision for my wedding day and then it was off to dress shopping. I felt like it was a movie scene: We were all picking out dresses and the classy, chic and warm ambiance of the boutique was just a perfect setting. Nancy and Patty made us all feel so at home and it was a glamorous girls' day! I tried on about a dozen dresses out of their incredible collections in the showroom and I ended up buying the very first dress I tried on, which immediately brought me to tears. It was the most incredible and exciting feeling. I had to sleep on my decision but when I came back the next day, I was greeted with yet another personalized sign and my soon-to-be gown hanging front and center. It was such a special experience; one that I will never forget. They also sent me a personalized "I said yes to the dress" picture postcard with a sweet handwritten note. I thought that this store was going to be an amazing place but my daughter had a hard time deciding on a dress and she was ultimately pressured into picking a dress that she didn't really love. My daughter was made to feel like the owner Patty was irritated by the fact that she wasn't 100% sure about the dress so she just settled for one that every one else liked. We were also told that they had several payment options but when it got to the part of actually getting the dress ordered we were told that the dress had to be completely paid for up front and this was done in front of my daughter instead of just pulling my husband and myself aside and tell us privately Patty panicked us as well as our daughter and our daughter was almost in tears because we thought that we would be able to do payments. We were then told that we could put 10% down to hold I'm not even sure what. That was $600 so we did that. In the end nothing was ever done but measurements and the wedding was called off but we did not get the $600 back for the pice of paper that the measurements were wrote on, and I was also told that they could charge me for the rest of the dress that was never ordered or anything. In the end I paid $600 for her measurements to be taken. They never explained what the $600 was for in the first place and that we wouldn't get it back if we didn't get the dress. I also was not given any paperwork that said this, instead I was asked to sign what I thought was the receipt for Patty running my card. When I called to let Patty know that the wedding was not going to happen is when I was told that what I was rushed through signing was a contract and that I would not get any money back and that she could in fact charge me for the rest of a dress that was never ordered or anything I couldn't believe it. That store made $600 to take my daughters measurements and type them up on an invoice and then was going to try and charge me another $1400 for something that we would not even get is ridiculous. Please be careful when going to this shop and ask lots of questions about anything and everything that has to do with the price that you're paying for any items that you buy from this bridal shop. read more
