Lovely Bride Denver is a gem of a wedding dress shop - not to mention, Carly (the owner) at Lovely Bride Denver is incredible, just like the dresses they carry. My dress search was a long and tedious one, and I fortunately came into Lovely Bride and Carly listened to my struggle and helped me find an incredible dress. I sent a photo of it to a few of my bridesmaids on the east coast later that night, and later learned that one of our mutual friends wore the same dress to her wedding. Let's talk about a rollercoaster of emotions! Given that it's one day and one dress, I could not imagine wearing the same dress as someone I grew up with - even though we grew apart. I called Carly immediately and she was so supportive and understanding, and assured me that we would work this out. We decided to take a few days to think on it, and I came back into the shop the next week. I came in alone and tried on a handful of other dresses but left that day without the one. While I didn't end up purchasing my dress at Lovely Bride Denver, I promise you - you are in the best of hands here while searching for your dress. I cannot thank Carly for all of her support from the highest of highs saying yes to the dress, to the lowest of lows that next day. She is truly one of a kind, just like Lovely Bride, and I look forward to shopping here in the future when my girlfriends are on the hunt for their dress! read more

Lovely Bride is such a special place not only because of the beautiful dresses but because of the AMAZING staff. Cassidy helped me find my wedding dress on very short notice. I walked into Lovely Bride feeling defeated after a long day of dress shopping and not finding the one. My family flew into town to dress shop with me and was supposed to leave the next day. We frantically called around to make appointment. My mom called the store and Cassidy answered. she asked the style I was looking for and said she has the perfect dress and I could come in now to try it on. Cassidys uplifting spirit and expertise in bridal and alterations left me feeling on top of the world and lead me to finding my wedding dress. If it wasn't for Cassidy's amazing customer service and experience I wouldn't have found my dress. I am forever thankful. 10/10 recommend. read more

I had the privilege of visiting Lovely in Denver, CO in my search for a wedding dress. I visited other bridal boutiques in the area but nothing compared to the experience I had at Lovely. From start to finish my appointment with Sarah was incredible -- she was thoughtful, encouraging, and fun! She listened to my reactions after each dress I tried on and adjusted what dresses she pulled from there. This was a truly personalized appointment that resulted in the perfect dress (which was nothing like I had originally thought I wanted). It's like Sarah knew what I wanted before I did! She made my best friend feel so comfortable, confident, and beautiful throughout the entire process of finding her wedding dress. What stood out most was how she listened to everything my best friend wanted while also knowing exactly what to pull and what would flatter her. She somehow made the entire experience feel effortless, exciting, and so special. You could truly tell that she cared about making this moment memorable rather than simply making a sale. Despite a miscommunication regarding the start time of my appointment that was entirely my fault,…read morethey still managed to keep my appointment, even if we had less time than we would have if I had been there on time. Before we got started, my consultant, Adriana, asked me what style I was looking for, what I thought I'd feel comfortable in, and some personal details regarding wedding theme, colors, hobbies. She immediately was able to lead me to the type of dress I was looking for and I picked a few to try on. The second dress, a blush-toned A-line with a floral pattern was the immediate favorite from my mom and bridesmaids and Adriana assured me that alterations could be made to add off-the-shoulder sleeves, which was something I loved on another dress, but that the one I chose didn't have. She recommended a few shops that work closely with the boutique to make alterations. Though we were a little pressed for time, we made efficient use of that time and I didn't feel rushed at all. I tried on 4 of the 5 dresses that we picked out and as someone who hates standing in front of a mirror to try on clothes, I did not feel any of that self-consciousness when trying on the dresses. I felt heard, valued, comfortable, and myself since some of the dresses felt more elegant, more princess-y, or more proper and the one I decided on was definitely "me". They have payment plans, which is great for a bride on a budget and the price was so reasonable, which is one of the reasons I picked them. Adriana also made the time to make my fiancè and me little trinkets for our champagne glasses with charms that included our initials, our wedding colors, and a dog and mountains, which was such a considerate touch to an already lovely experience. I would recommend this place highly for the price, the variety, the experience, the consideration (especially if you hate clothes shopping, as I do), and the fact that I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. Thank you so much to Adriana for all of your advice, recommendations, kindness, and help.

Long post. Worth the read. Biggest disappointment was the unexpected fees I was charged when my…read moreitem was ready to pick up. Pick Up: I was notified via text that my garment arrived within the arrival month originally estimated at the time of purchase. In the same message, I was also notified that I was now required to pay and additional "tariff fee". I replied that there was no mention of this potential fee at the time of purchase and that there was no clause in the contract that an additional fee may apply or be added later. I received an indirect response from the owner informing me the fee was fair because they are covering some of the tariff cost and that I can pay my original amount due, but they will not release the garment to until ALL fees are paid, including this new "tariff fee". The owner referred to the contract line, "All accounts must be paid in full before garments may be removed from the store." Like I said, no mention in the contract or notification in the 6 months that passed since I placed my order that the store can/would add additional fees. I called the fee a hidden fee, but the owner stated it was government imposed. In my opinion if you do not inform your client that you are charging them until the client is receiving the item, it is an undisclosed fee. The contract does say that the item must be picked up in 4 weeks; so, I did pay the dues to pick up my garment not knowing if the shop would hold rights to my item if not picked up in 4 weeks. Note: From my research other shops have provided written notice of tariff fees to the client prior to the item being available for pick up or it is listed in the contract that potential import fees may occur. Appointment: I was referred to this shop through a designer's website. I was looking for a specific dress, and the site said this shop had it. When I made my appointment request, I specifically mentioned the dress I was looking for. The shop had to reschedule my appointment but offered a 10% inconvenience discount which was honored at checkout. However, the stylist was not ready for me when I arrived. I didn't mind. The stylist had not read my appointment notes. The dress was not available at the store- it wasn't at any of their other locations. They gave me the option to order it from the designer to try it on if I paid the cost of shipping. I declined but decided to try on dresses since I was there already. The stylist had no regard for my budget. I ended up finding a skirt I liked, and the stylist went to draw up the contract. I was by myself in the front of the store and a drunk man walked in and started checking himself out in the mirror. In the wedding dress I was wearing, I picked up my things and walked to the back of the store. The man followed. The stylist asked if she could help him. He looked me up and down and then asked the stylist for a hug. She hugged him. After a couple seconds I pulled the stylist away from him and told him needed to leave. Fortunately, he did. I do not fault the shop for this incident but after that I felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave myself and felt like I was pressured into completing the purchase. The shop informed me that they have a policy now that the front door is to be locked while they are seeing a client.
