Like many of the other reviewers, I went to 7 dress shops in Denver and many of them were great, but Lovely Bride was the best! Even before I stepped in the shop, my experience with LB was notable given the consultation call (so helpful and time-saving) and the online portal with price transparency. Actually unheard of. The owner, Carly, is just very rad, and has a gift for creating a relaxing, fun in-shop experience. Her method for helping you confidently choose between dresses was so good. You'll have to go to find out what it is. And it was SO necessary because I loved pretty much every dress I tried on which has NEVER been the case at other shops. I ended up saying yes to a SAINT dress, though I was obsessed with many of the other designers they exclusively carry. As a once-in-a-lifetime experience that can so often be absolutely miserable, I was so relieved to be able to just enjoy it and have fun thanks to Carly and her team. The experience of dress shopping here with Chloe and Carly far exceeded my hopes and expectations! As a full and curvy girl, I went into my dress experience a bit guarded and wanting to be sure there would be sample sizes that came close to what my actual dress would look like. Not only did I feel loved and celebrated by these ladies, but it was like size wasn't even a second thought. My mom and I went in during a Studio Levana trunk show and Chloe took extra time to be sure I was laced up and closed in a way that flattered my figure and made me feel loved the way a close friend would have. Each time I went back or called, they remembered me by name and welcomed anyone I had with me. I went to 3 other stores during the process of finding my dress and I was really happy with the selection of dresses they offered. The studio itself was very cute, clean and Instagrammable. Absolutely loved the experience I had at Lovely. Sarah managed the appointment perfectly, I think she knew exactly what I was looking for before I did. I came to my appt with a vague idea of the fit I wanted but nothing else. She brought out a round of dresses, all of which I tried on (and some of them again), and then brought out another round of dresses for me to try on. I can not begin to describe my dissatisfaction with this store. The dress they ordered for my daughter was the wrong size...it was too small! The worst part is they lied and claimed that many times alterations to make dresses larger was common place! My mother made most of my clothes, making first run garments in NYC and I can tell you the little bit I learned from her was enough to tell me that when you need to lower a neckline and the darts for the bust you did not measure properly! These people are not good people, they should have ordered her a new dress instead of lying to her and even charging her for alterations that they did a shoddy job on! THE best wedding dress shopping experience in Denver! Being in the bridal industry myself, I am aware of the big bridal shops in Denver, so naturally I had to make appointments at EVERY one of them. With all the appointments in mind, I am so very happy I said "yaaas to the dress" at Lovely Bride Denver. The range of dresses there will suit any style and the dresses are stunning! The beautiful shop is located in the heart of Rino and the complimentary valet service is very convenient. Carly and Camille are the women you want on your side when going through the whole wedding dress process. I came into my appointment with a specific dress in mind, I met with Camille, and she had it all ready to go to try on first. I knew it was the one right away, but we still had some fun trying on other dresses in the store. She was so sweet and fun to work with and made me less sad that I had to go alone due to COVID. I originally thought I would have to order the dress based on an alteration to the slit I wanted, but Carly had the same dress in a bigger size with the slit closed and I could see they had just sewn it shut! So I was able to buy the original sample I tried on and take advantage of the 30% sample sale promo this month, and I left very happy and relieved. I took my dress to an alterations company the next day, and all was fine until I had my first fitting and it became very evident that they were very unorganized and failed at explaining what they were going to do to my dress. They closed up the slit and it looked terrible, so after my first fitting I emailed Camille for pictures of the dress with the slit closed to share with them. Carly ended up talking to the owner on my behalf and truly went above and beyond to help me have a good experience post-sale. These women truly care, and I would recommend them to everyone I know. Lovely Birde Is a Denver hidden gem to find an affordable but one of a kind wedding dress. I went to the lovely bride to try on wedding dresses for my very first time in January. They sent me a website before my appointment to go in and see all the dresses they have, and you choose 10 that you would like to try on. It was super helpful to see the dresses before the appointment. I wish they had real-life pictures of these dresses and the professionally photographed ones just because some of the dresses look much different in person. Everyone there was super helpful. I wasn't sold on a dress the first time but thought there was one I liked and made another appointment again to go back and try it on a few days later. After going to other dress shops in-between, I realized so much more of what I liked. I then went back to Lovely Bride and Carly assisted me and gave me extra time to try on more dresses. She truly helped me narrow down my dress decision before I found the one. She was so professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Since then, she has been super responsive over text and has helped me with every question, every step of the way, even after purchasing the dress. I am so happy I went back to the Lovely Bride! I went to a few other shops and had a fine experience but Lovely Bride was so much better. I worked with Sarah and she was fantastic- not pushy at all and actually ended up picking a dress out that I would not have thought to try on, which ended up being the one. I definitely was a little worried that it would be...all a bit much in terms of boho/hip but they really have a little bit of everything and at a large price range. Also, they worked with the fact that I live in Maine and was shopping while visiting home. I love the aesthetic of Lovely and they seemed to have a great selection of dresses that I noticed when walking in. However, they had a pretty intense system with trying on two dresses at a time and then choosing which of the two you wanted to keep for the next round. After I had tried on about 8 dresses they said, "We're running out of options"...which confused me because they didn't offer me to walk the floor and try anything else on. I would have loved to browse the racks myself and pick out some options but that was never presented to me. I also found neither of the sales associates were experts in the fabrics of the dresses...when I would ask what fabric a certain dress was I got the answer "I actually don't know" which I felt was not right for a bridal salon--they should be experts in the fabrics and designs. They also "closed" with asking if I wanted to take my measurements that day...when in reality I didn't want to get my dress there, it just felt very assumptive and forward. Stopped and looked in the window over the weekend while they were closed and it looks like a really cute shop in an industrial-type building. My sister used their shop in Chicago and I was pretty interested when I saw on their website that they had a shop down the street opening. Everything they did for her was great. There is some weird tarp blowing around on the second floor they should get rid of, but I'll be calling in next week to see if they can schedule some time and I'll update my review. read more
