Mia is amazing! I brought in my wedding dress 5 months before the wedding, she had it ready in 3 weeks. It fit perfectly and the bustle was so well hidden and elegant. She told me to try it on a month or two before the wedding and if it needed any further adjustments to call her and she would take care of it. A month before the wedding I tried it on and realized I had lost more weight and needed it taken in several inches, she had me come in two days later and had it finished by the end of the week! My DIL took her wedding gown to Mia for tailoring. The first appointment, Mia was an hour late. It took 3 appointments and at the last appointment, there was a stain (oil from the sewing machine) on the bodice. When this was shown to Mia, she waved off and said she would refund $50. I cannot adequately share the amount of stress this caused as the wedding is in 6 days. The lack of accountability by Mia is another issue. I would highly recommend Laundry Day in Park Hill who does tailoring and dry cleaning. If there is a silver lining, it is the couple who own this shop. When I got in touch with Mia, it was 2 months before my wedding. Not only did Mia have my dress done 3 weeks before my wedding, but she also went above and beyond than what she charged me. Initially thinking I could only afford to get the dress hemmed, Mia made alterations to the dress that she definitely didn't charge me for.
