I dropped off 4 pair of pants to be hemmed and was told it would be 3 weeks to complete, 9/21. I called on 9/19 to see if by chance they were ready and was told, no, they will be ready on the date on the invoice. I went in on 9/21, expecting to leave with my pants, however, Anna didn't seem to know where they were when I spotted them behind the desk....untouched. 3 weeks and she didn't even attempt to work on them. I decided to take my business to another company who were able to finish all 4 pair with same day service! if you're looking to have fast, friendly service, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I was the Maid of Honor for my sisters wedding and due to my seamstress passing, I was in a pinch and had to find somewhere new to take my dress for some hemming. I should also mention that in bring it here and having to wear this dress, I was 20-22 weeks pregnant. I dropped it off with Anna and while she was marking the dress I knew in my gut I should not have left it here. Alarm bells started ringing when she called me on Sunday to see if I could pick up the dress on Wednesday instead of Monday when we originally planned because I was needing to travel for this wedding. The dress we chose was due to these gorgeous sleeves that needed a slight hem, as well as the bottom. A dress or gown should always skim the floor and never hover off the ground. I knew my belly might grow and take some length with it, but I couldn't imagine I would've been left with an uneven hemline at the floor that in turn caused me to have to purchase new shoes to bring it closer to the floor. I feel like a seamstress should also take something like that into account. I couldn't even worry about the length of the dress because the sleeves were absolutely butchered. They were uneven, completely lost the shape and she didn't understand "how that happened." I'm giving her a two star because she had a quick turnaround with fixing it but I was a bit baffled that there was no discount given and she also turned around the screen asking for gratuity. Because the dress was still wearable, I gave 10% but in wearing this dress on the day of, I felt it looked so wrong considering I knew what it was supposed to originally be. I won't be returning and feel it necessary to share my experience just in case you plan on taking very important pieces here. read more

I have taken various clothes to Anna for about a half a year now. It's made my clothing much more wearable. I decided it's worthwhile to take every day jeans, etc. in for adjustments. The waist are always way too big for me and Anna has done a lovely job taking in waist and shortening. I would strongly recommend her service. read more

FRIDAY August 23rd 2013, Hubs and I went to Anna's Tailoring. Hubs had a Full Suit Leather that he needs some adjustment and some fitting to be done. Unfortunately, with what seems to be a little project, DEFINITELY COST ALOT MORE that we anticipated. It would cost us $180, BUT by purchasing a NEW Suit that will cost us $200. *Big Bummer* Sorry Anna's Tailoring. Though the lovely couple were nice, we need to find a cheaper alternative to adjust the Leathers with reasonable pricing. We might return if we have other projects for tailoring to be done, and perhaps see how it will differ in terms of pricing. @176/2013 read more

Here's the deal, we brought my husbands suits and jacket here for tailoring. The girl who took the measurements did not seem like the person who was actually going to make the modifications and didn't seem to really know what she was doing. She also wasn't sure on the pricing. It ended up being DOUBLE what I was quoted when finding another tailor. We quickly got the suits back and took them to another tailor (see my other review for where we went which was an awesome experience). Skip this place and go somewhere more reliable. read more

We have been going to Johnny and Anna's for a long time. My fiance even longer then I have. I have a very short inseam and so they do all my pants, long skirts, and dresses. They are quite prompt in finishing your items. As long as you give them the date they'll have it done. Johnny is making custom shirts for Men now as well so if you like custom dress shirts these are made with material from Italy. That is where they are both from. They are doing my wedding dress. I wouldn't trust it to anyone but them to make it perfect for my special day. read more

I had been searching for a tailor in my area of town for a long time. Actually, I would drive for a good tailor and the fact that it's not *too* far from me is a bonus. And they're actual tailors, too! When I have had tailoring to be done, they usually have it ready within a week. And for a couple special events when I needed something sooner, they have been able to accommodate me. Forget the four or five week wait for the downtown tailors! The sewing is flawless as far as I can tell. And the fit has always been spot on. I had to have a pair of slacks recut, a job that a seamstress rejected. Mr. Piotrowski did the job, for a fair price, and did it well. They fit like they were custom-made for me. read more

Anna's Tailoring exceeded my expectations! They shortened a casual dress for me, and it looks far better than the original product! The dress had a lining separate from the garment and it was always a struggle to get the two fabrics not to bunch and hang. They hemmed the two together! Genius! The dress now hangs perfectly! They also fixed a zipper on a yoga bag and the repair is invisible! Also impressed with the reasonable price and my items were ready when promised! Great little shop! read more

This place did a fine job on my bridesmaid's dress and the employees were friendly. They had my dress done on time but there was never any communication about when the dress was completed or when I could come pick it up. I had to call to confirm a pick up time. As one reviewer mentioned, place smells of cigarettes, but fortunately my dress didn't smell after two weeks of being there. read more

Anna was wonderful! I brought in a floor length bridesmaid dress for a minor adjustment. After paying and bringing the dress home, I decided I wanted another adjustment made. I only had a few days until the wedding, but Anna said it was no problem. When I picked up the dress (hours before my flight), the dress fit much better, however, something still didn't look right with the way the fabric was laying on my chest. While I was in the store, she did a few more last minute fixes to make sure the dress looked perfect. She only charged me an additional $15 for all of that extra last minute work! read more

This is a great little tailoring shop! I had a bridesmaids dress altered. For only $48, John redid the bodice, shortened the shoulders and fixed a faulty zipper. They did a beautiful job (the dress now looks made for me) at a really reasonable cost. read more

I regularly do not write reviews, but my experience with Anna's Tailoring was SO horrible that I am making an exception. I brought my bridesmaid dress to Anna 3 weeks before the wedding date. She took my dress and casually mentioned that she was going on vacation, but failed to mention when. She asked when my event date was and told me that she was going to have my dress finished early. She DID NOT tell me a specific time to come pick it up, but did take my phone number to call me when the dress was ready. As the week of the wedding approached and I had yet to hear from her I began to get concerned. I called multiple times and heard nothing back. I then went to her store and found a letter on her door explaining that she was closed. I was shocked that she would leave for vacation without calling me and leave me without dress for my event. I was forced to buy another dress for the weekend and it wasn't even the right fit or style because of the extreme time constraint. The amount of stress and hardship on not only me but also the bride is ridiculous. When Anna later got back from her vacation she tried to act like she didn't get my 20 voicemails, multiple emails, and Facebook messages. She never once apologized for not calling me and for leaving me without a dress. To top off this horrible experience, her husband then began to curse at me when I asked for my money back! I would NOT recommend Anna's Tailoring to anyone. I feel sorry for everyone else that this happened too because I was caused an enormous amount of stress both emotionally and financially because of Anna's carelessness. DO NOT go to Anna's Tailoring unless you want horrible customer service! read more
